Made this for my family for a birthday celebration. The family said it sounded gross after I told them the recipe. I ignored them and made it anyway. My birthday, my cake. Lol. Well, of course it came out fantastic, and they want to know when I'm making it again. Doubters.
Hooray! :D
lol WHY did they think it could possibly be gross??
bubbles02010 The dates in the base. They aren't too keen on dates, but they liked it in the end.
+Dakarn can I ask what size pan you used???
Mandy Li 8"X8" Square. You don't have to worry about the spring loaded ones too much. If you don't have one, just put the cake in the refrigerator for about an hour before you cut and serve, and the pieces will come right out with a spatula. I have a really thin metal one that is just perfect.
Ben confirmed for mild OCD.
The joy on Jamie's face when he gets to use the machine instead of the whisk :D
Makes me happy :)
always been a baked cheesecake kinda guy, but this looks so damn good!
Ben + Spring of Mint is my otp 😂😂
Never made that connection, but YESSSS!!
Love that base idea
I just like Ben so much, the way he explains how to make this and that he made it sound easy and exciting.. I'm a fan, Ben!
Ben and Jamie = Tom and Jerry?
Or Ben and Jerrys moahaha >:P
ben's voice at 5:08 lololololololol
+Robert Rzepa can't stop laughing
Puberty started at that exact moment
Ben's trips to the fridge made me laugh so hard!
Great idea to make a very different tiramisu recipe THUMBS UP fellas
You guys should make funnel cake:)
Yes yes yes
jamie's face when he gets to use a hand mixer is so cute!
Ben's voice crack at 5:09 though! Aha Ben you're so great :)
The sprig of mint lmao
yes please!!
Every chef has a food ingredient they are obsessed with, I think Bens is the mint leaves to decorate
I'm going through an intense craving thanks to you smug bastards lol
I always love the cheeky little grin Jamie gets when he sneaks food during the filming. He's kind of the person we all want to be able to be at those moments XD
Hahaha Ben's got Jamie trained nicely to do things by hand. The raspberry stealing was really funny, too.
4:15 Jamie's face when Ben just took the plate away from him like that is so funny
My 2 favorite desserts tied into one! I'm on a diet but I think I may have to cheat on my diet and make this! Yum! :)
Can u do something easy enough for an 11 year old to do
I'd like to see Ben serve a sprig of mint...Sorted. #commentoftheweek
I really kwonder kwho's sponsoring them...
hay its more subtle than a lot of channels
They deserve the sponsorship, they're great!
They say at the end of most videos: "Thanks to Kenwood for the kit"
I meant it as a joke rather than a criticism. They're awesome and they deserve to have money thrown at them from big corporations.
Tyrone would enjoy this, because his dad is a great cook 😆
Weeks seemed to be longer now that I'm subscribed to Sorted Food.
I can't watch the video :(((
Same here. It won't play... :( I love Tiramisu and Cheesecake so this really is distressing.
- Heidi
Yup, not really working...
maybe theres too many ppl trying too watch at the same time?
MBTHAIS Nah, it's just RUclips that is broken.
the same here !
Ben, Will you marry me??
Are you guys going to be pulling any Valentine's Day pranks this year? I think Barry and Jamie should do a bit of payback..
The video won't play for me :(
You boys are amazing, I love all your videos. They're definitely the best way to avoid doing any of my uni work. Keep up the awesome work and don't let anyone else but Ben say 'Sorted' at the end of your videos because it sounds good when he says it :)
hey Ben, what about you...and me...and that cheesecake...together..in a room...naaah...forget it...just the cheesecake is fine....
One general Tiramisu tip I've found (granted this is an old video), I make a strong cup of french press coffee, then put it over the minimum heat on my stove, just to condense it significantly.
Espresso would be more accurate.
Wow, how times have changed. Ben now seems to have authority over Jamie! It reminds me of a Pinocchio and Geppetto kind of relationship...
The good ol' sprig of mint!
Made these and they turned out amazing. Did have a problem with make the base with dates!! Need a powerful blender for it. 😧 but I somehow managed it.
One of your most delicious-looking creations yet - really innovative and inspiring!
Ben treats the sprig of mint like he treats Tyrone. smh
You guys are the best
Can you make a video on how to make a bunch of types of breads
cant b a desert w/o the sprig of mint!
Could I take out the Tia Maria and replace it with an non-alcohol product?
is it possible to make tiramisu without the alcohol?
isn't the biscuits lady fingers?
really the best i've ever seen
Ben is simply adorbsies in this vid!
Can you do a raw vegan recipe..?
I'd love to see a baked cheesecake.
Stop ruining perfectly delicious ingredients by combining them.
Chocolate.......great!
Raspberries....great!
Chocolate and raspberries together....gross!
Please make vietnamese pho
love the accent. great video def cant wait to make/try!
the sprig of mint ;) haha
Oh goodness...just..thank you! This looks absolutely amazing. I'll be sure to use this show stopping desert for a party I have coming up. Really lovely flavor suggestions. Thanks so much for posting this! Looking forward to the next vid.

because my dads birthday is on fathers day
please !!!!!!!!!!! = _ =
i "l give u one bday
i mean idea
Oh man! I'm gonna try this! It looks delicious! And I love pistachio!
By the way, instead of Tia Maria could I use Porto wine?
I'm not sure if they said this but MAKE SURE YOUR DATES ARE PITTED EVERYONE!!!!!!!
Sweet I finally was able to watch this. This looks amazing and I can't wait to try it. You just mixed two of my favorite sweet treats. :)
- Heidi
TIRAMISU CHEESECAKE
WHAT KIND OF SORCERY ARE YOUUUU??!!!
Now I am tempted to eat oje and its 12.18 am in Malaysiaaaaa.
i'm drooling
Tiramisu and cheesecake are two of my favorite deserts. And you combined it into one! I mean. My mind is blown! Love it!
You know, this looks really nice. Now if only I could watch the BLOODY thing to see how it's made.
Google, making people the little child, angrily ripping up toilet paper since 2006
I love it !
I saw this in my subscription page and I literally just shouted "OH MY GOD YES"
Sounds quite weird to me, but it's probably really good :) Anyhow, love watching your videos! Have a nice weekend xx
That is absolutely gorgeous.
I think I'll try with bananas now that berries are so expensive here...and with a coffee liqueur other than Tia Maria I think the result would be similar, wouldn't it? :)
Ben you can't possibly be this adorable. It's illegal.
The cake looks glorious. Definitely bookmarking the recipe to try next time!
all very nice, excellent ingredients, great flavor potential there. but...tiramisu...how do the nuts and dates fit into that theme?i don't get it...what's the thought process behind it? the flavors are somehow...not somehow - very confused. i would have used espresso powder and lady biscuits mixed with leibnitz cookie crumbs for the crust.
That sounds-and looks- amazing. Only I don't really like coffee (especially not after a nasty prank from my brother in seventh grade), so I'd replace the coffee with either black or chai tea.
Looks amazing!! Since I don't like coffee, I thought I might flavor the cream with orange zest and dunk the ladyfingers in earl grey tea :)
Why is there no link to the recipe anymore? I wanted to make this the other day and couldn't find the exact measurements. 🥺
Awesome recipe, However, would you really suggest a tiramisu cheesecake really tops the Nacho cheesecake in terms of "being out there"?
Jamie: Let me guess what he's forgotten this time...the sprig of mint?
Ben: The sprig of mint!
I love making cheesecakes with 1/2 mascarpone and 1/2 cream cheese, vanilla bean and a bit of lemon zest. It's my go to.
Recreating a baked cheesecake you could do the same instead put a layer of the lady fingers and add perhaps an espresso base somewhere, (lady finger or biscuit base and then espresso cookie or similar on top and then the cheese)
Super layered tiramisu cheesecake
So I think I'd watched this video everyday during Ramadan right when I was starving to death. Made it today for Eid dinner, there were four other desserts and this one was the first one to run out! Everyone absolutely loved it. Didn't use the Tia Maria, because alcohol. Got a coffee flavoured mascarpone cheese. There were no raspberries at any stores so swapped with strawberries. My new fav thing to make!
I made this recipe and OH MY GOD it was heaven!! I also put coated the rasberries with dark chocolate before putting them on top. So good.
Do u have a secret recipe for whipping cream I'm stressing out trying to work with the French whipping cream their heavy cream is 30% fat n its falling apart on my cake ... will b appreciated if u help me ...please Thanks
The one I've been waiting for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just in time for my weekend treat! Cheers
Damn, I would usually have a second dinner rather than dessert, but I think this would be an exception.... Well done men!
you guys are magic. wish i could actually be bothered making this XD oh yeah, and while i don't really like cream... or cheese, i do have a certain fondness for cheesecake. and coffee is my life. and tia maria it's worthy companion :)
What a FANTASTIC recipe ! Love how creative you guys are.
great creativity guys!
Uhm, no. I think you heard wrong. I asked for Ben to pick me up, spin me around, put me back down again, and then make me dinner. Huh. Weird.
That's rock!!!! I'm so going try for my bf's bdae... Thanks, Ben and the team!
I'm going to try this today, except without the liquor and coffee because it seems like too much and I like it simpler and fresher.
You should make Oreos with a nutty biscuit! Don't forget to give the filling a Sorted twist!
I have to say, whoever suggested the nutty base instead of the biscuit base is no fun. I'm sorry but cookies vs. nuts? No. Cookies should always win.
you always use instant coffee :( a nice quality coffee, possibly one that pairs well with a tiramisu (a coffee with floral hints?) would surely make a difference
Oh gosh...O.O imagine this recipe with nutty stuff and amaretto *-* I'd gladly die after that :S
Looks delicious, though I've always felt that baked cheesecake has a way better texture and mouthfeel.
"Buttery biscuit base". Please tell me you were quoting the Masterchef remix??
I love it that the boys are so well trained by now that when they hear "whip that up" they immediately go for a whisk, not the machine. Good job, Ben!
Also, at 5:09 you can hear that the cake has made Ben weak in the knees. That doesn't happen often, does it? Ohh, I've got to try this cake!
This channel is basically food porn everything just looks so wonderful omg I love it
everytime they say 'buttery biscuit base', my mind goes 'base base base base base knowledge'
And to make it gluten free, just use gluten free biscuits (cookies, for us Americans). Sounds delish!
Do a typical Ris-ala-mande from Denmark. It's a sweet dessert with warm cherry sauce on top.
I was uncomfortable until you put that sprig of mint on top! Where would we be without the inevitable sprig of mint ^_^
what would be a good substitute of the dates? i'm not a fan of dates... but would love to try making this! thanks for all your great easy recipes :)
I'd love to see a week where all the Sorted shows on all the various channels and sponsored projects made the same meal - but adapted for each show. Some recent things like Tiramisu and Quiche would lend themselves well to showing a variety of possible preparations.
I would love to see a creative Fully Raw recipe; anything you all produce is beautifully shot, and well edited. A Fully Raw recipe would be so nice to see.
