I literally have my last day of tryouts and I’m scared, because I can’t pass good, this is helping me. THANK YOU!❤. I’ll tell y’all if I make it. I might not.
Just today I’ve never slid on my knees (I had knee pads) and I tried it with one leg and I ended up sliding my bare calf bc my brain didn’t want my knee to get hurt even when I had a pad 😭
Hey coach koko! I was wondering if you have any tips for pass with your legs instead of your shoulders my coach says I use my shoulder a lot and my dream is to be a Libero. Thank you for read this and thank you for helping me understand volleyball!!
This is definitely gonna help me!Also can you make a vib about like passing but with fingers(idk how to explain idk english very well i think its called overhead)every time the ball goes behind me i catch the ball but cant pass it my fingers are weak ig and if you have any tips that would really help me alot thank you!
Is there a video about what beginners should do when wanting to start to play? Like should they focus on receives first, setting? **Also great video 🏐✨
Receiving. You can't start a rally (an exchange between teams) if you don't first receive the opponent's serve. Afterwards, slowly try everything and develop all aspects of your game so you can decide what position you want to play!
@@juanangelguevara5411 Noted! Receives it is, but like after, which should I practice next. Like my guess is serving so atleast I can play with someone,, I've tried to play wayyy back but I gave up so I'm stuck at beginner level:[[[ Also Thank you very much for replying!!
@@walmartventi5696 that's the second most basic skill in my opinion. Because you only get to serve 1 out of 6 exchanges at a time if we assume the win/lose rally equivalent of a close game. I.e. (0-0) -> (0-1) -> (1-1) etc. On the other hand, you *could* have to receive a ball in every exchange: be it because it was spike directed towards you, a dig you had to perform, a tip you have to save or a ball that ricocheted from your team mate's block. This doesn't mean you'll get to touch the ball every single time; but rather that you have a 1/5 (assuming someone covers up for the Setter) chance to be aimed to every point. Plus, you can start by doing a simple underhand serve while working on your receive, and when you've archived your goal you can move on to perfecting your underhand serve or learning the overhand serve. Think it this way: If you faim your serve, that's 1 lost point. While if you're constantly being targeted and you can't put the ball up, that could lead to big disadvantage to your team. Or even worse: getting benched. Have in mind that this all varies from what level/age group you find yourself at, but most of the time I think receive is the base to keep playing the sport we love: volleyball.
@@walmartventi5696 hi! Noted that and thanks for replying :D But if you don't mind me asking, which serve exactly is the best to use, among like the many many serves. I've only tried the underhand serve and overhand serve (**I'm not good at it yet since focused on receiving(─.─||)) **I'll try my best to give time to pratice serving, I'll try to update you guys after few months ig hehe**

You should learn how to serve first. You can’t play a game without a serve so that’ll be a great start
