Those Toyotas look so hauntingly disturbing...owning a good looking broke down car with repair bills attach to it doesn't seem so bad now.
Hi Mr Kilmer, I was wondering if could recommend a good reliable used SUV or mini van for every day use. Please and thank you in advance.
My 2004 Camry has over 198,000 miles and is going strong. I have replaced brake pads of course, struts and alternator. Mine came with a CD player, and a cassette player! It also has the anniversary wheels. I've not seen another one with those. What he calls a cigarette lighter is probably like mine, for phone charger and other accessories like a GPS. I love my Toyota. The 02 I had before this was hit by a truck on the Interstate and totaled. Not a scratch on me or my wife. I will have no other vehicle than a Toyota. Scotty is right, they are the best.
Uncle Scotty, I thought you cleaned out your garage ? Lol , I'm sure you did but it just goes on forever ? What do you have a 2 Mile deep garage ? J/K ! I will be happy to help you clean the rest of it with you ?

I bought a used 2011 Camry in January 2020. Very surprised how smooth it drove given the mileage at 150K. That alone screamed buy it, months later it still drives like a dream, don’t regret one thing.
I bought a 2011 in September of 19 I kind of regret it because it's the 5th year of the run and you don't get as much bang for your buck since it's a redesign for the 2012 so far so good damn visor is broken like so many of them and I'm not sure I like the sound of the transmission they all make this noise kind of when they're cold?

I own a 98 Camry with over 400,000 miles and a 2001 Corolla with 370,000 miles. They have never let me down once, never a breakdown. Both have rust in rocker panels unfortunately and the corolla burns oil like crazy because of faulty engine design but I wouldn't get rid of them for anything.

My 95 Camry coupe had 275k miles on it when someone clipped me and I had to get rid of it. Most useful car I've ever owned - you'd be surprised how much crap you can stuff in a Camry. The manual transmission on that car was fantastic and I never once had to replace the clutch. The G35 I replaced it with? Had to replace the clutch every 75k miles like clockwork.

Wow, what a boring car. My dad gave me his BMW 325i. Within three months it needed new brakes ($800), new tires ($200, used), a new fuel pump ($300), air conditioner/heater stopped working (I did my best to ignore it) interior continued shredding (I ignored it) plastic grills cracked and eventually fell off (where, IDK) coolant leaked (probably a head gasket leak from when my dad overheated it when the plastic filler thingy broke) out, cooling system eventually failed (I even did my best to igore this), I put in new battery ($150!!!).
That is the short list. Every day was a new adventure. I sold the car to a twenty-something kid who looked like he needed some BMW excitement in his life. By this time I had been watching Scotty daily. Now I own a boring Toyota Solara. I now seem to have a lot of free time to reminisce about the glory days of my BMW experience. Thanks Scotty!

This is what I like about Scotty, he’ll feature a video like this. Too many people are too serious about their damn cars. I like this kids sense of humour. He genuinely appreciates his car and he makes some good points. My daughters first car was a hand me down (from me) 2002 Camry. Currently my wife has a 2014 Camry. We have a 12 year old Prius (it replaced our 2002 Camry) and we have a 2009 Avalon, which out 18 year old son drives. My hats off to you.
"Left and right turn indicators I dont think BMW drivers have that" hahahahahaha
Hi Scotty thank you for all your great videos! It has helped me so much. I like this video because I just bought the same Camry in May 2021. only thing is mines is a 2007. I got it used from an elderly woman who was the only owner for very cheap and looks like she hardly drove it. I ran with it as it was a steal of a deal and truly a Godsend. The mileage was 67000 which was great and this car runs like brand new. I watched so much of your videos so when she turned on the engine for me to hear I knew right away that I was getting this car because the engine was in perfect condition. I took it for a checkup and have no problem with it. It runs so good all my friends told me I got a great deal and that the car is pretty much a new car!! I’m so happy 😃 the only thing I have to change is the tire sensors. Scotty any suggestions about this car or things I should do or not do to upkeep it? Mines is also an LE. Thank you Scotty for your honesty 😊
Funny thing is that while he’s doing this all in a sarcastic tone, I think most ppl do truly feel that lucky to have those features at that age.
I have 2010 Camry with 720k mileages.
Did regular oil change breaks and fluids.
Everything else stock. Even spark plugs.
Wow
Unbelievable with the original motor?
Just Believe yup, still running like a champ
So you drove 200 miles per day for 10 years putting 72k miles per year on a car.
Tom Cat he’s a cross country Uber Driver
Hahaha I've never seen such an entertainingly hilarious video on a mundane car! This guy should do more car reviews in RUclips
My Mom owns a Camry it’s a good car, I don’t have a lot of driving experience but when I feel like I’m ready to start driving Camry will be one of my options.
I have a 2011 Venza 3.5 V6 AWD and love it. They say the venza is like the Camry with a V6 engine. Had it for 3 months now. Has 93k miles on it. Very comfortable spacious ride.
