Of all the characters I main, it seemed fitting that Mewtwo would have some of the most mind-bending tech for me to try and master. But these combos and advanced tech will be the reason why I solidify my place as the world's BEST Mewtwo player!

The fact that WaDi was this good without the advanced tech is scary. Ultimate still has many secrets to uncover. I'm just now learning more moves and tech with Corrin and Marth, and I've played them for almost 2 years lol.

I never thought that this would be the order of easiest to hardest difficulty for WaDi’s characters.
I never thought Ice Climber Desyncs would be the easiest for him to do and Wavebounce Shadow Ball with Mewtwo would be the hardest for him to do.

I think he knows how to do IRAR he just doesn't know the term, its just doing a RAR really fast.
The fact that he gets away with it just say how undeveloped this game is, or at least the players. If it was Tekken there's no shot you could get away with something like this and be a Top 100 player, ever.

This is the funniest video of Wadi’s I have ever seen
From the moment you jump have your finger off the stick.
If you want to shift character's facing direction while moving the same direction, tap the direction you want to face, then press b.
If you want to change the direction you are facing and moving at the same time, flick the stick in that direction right after pressing b.
If you want to change only the direction you're moving, but not the direction you're facing, press the direction you want to wave bounce in, then b, then the direction you want to be facing in very quick succession. Can also be done with side b. Spend 5 minutes on each different input before you boot up elite smash for the day until you never mess it up
Yooo Wadi learning Mewtwo tech! For the foostool stuff I can do the dj cancel thing easily since it's the same as in smash 4, but I suck at footstooling in general just like you do, I still think it could be broken out of shield though (and people are getting consistent at it with other characters like Steve footstool dair so that's probably viable)
For the wavebounce, a lot of videos and tutorials I've seen are such a headache and complicate it way too much, the inputs are (assuming facing right) :
=> jump
that's all you really need to know...

Wadi. Wave bounce is a combination of inputting the direction behind your character, then the b button, then the opposite direction in quick succession. If you move forward or backward while doing the inputs, that's when you get the "bounce" or the immediate direction changes. They're useful for "mixing", "baiting" and" punishing" your opponent.
Been a long while since I watched WaDi, and I'm not disappointed to see him still be that funny guy I like.

if u roll to ledge as mewtwo, and teleport in place, you consistently can tp cancel and grab ledge/trump or instant fast fall nair keeping all ur resources

Wadi if you roll into the ledge and teleport straight down you can get the teleport cancel as well have fun 😅

Hey Wadi, I‘d recommend you change your controls for consistent wavebouncing. Put the B button on one of the shoulder buttons. Then you can just Wavebounce by holding the Left Stick and the C-Stick in opposite directions while jumping. I also main M2, Big fan, love your stuff, kisses, bye 👋

An easy way to do something like a wave bounce is first slingshot and then b reverse.

Actually there is so many interesting techs to learn with Mewtwo that can really improve your gameplay with the character such as charge cancel, idj, teleport cancel, footstool disable, teleport ledge trump, b reverse, wave bounce, c bounce, double jump cancels at the ledge with specials moves against ledge trapping. Teleport cancel is much easier with Palu though, that's not really fair.
It's like working on Mewtwo so hard brainwashed Wadi btw, it's really fitting.

A Wavebounce is just a B-reversed Turnaround special. First you do a turnaround special to reverse your character's orientation while keeping its momentum, then you B-reverse to reverse the momentum. That's it, it's just those 2 techniques combined, and in that order.
