with mew2 it's really good. you can approach with dtilt and retreat with SB. this burst of option which is huge considering you can almost make half the stage with thus jump is good to retreat charge SB and control/apply pressure in neutral. you can approach with fair or dtilt and make a flickshot fair to punish their response to your approach without having the tail in the way. i did a fair on shield and made a flickshot fair instantly and punished an inkling who tried to punish my fair. there is even set up where you can fair their shield. holdshot disable and get them. i think it is a very good tech for mew2 and surely i will implement the flickshot neutral b and flickshot fair in my gameplay. i will surely try the slingshot nair after dtilt like you showed wadi its seems promising. mew2 got a huge buff without nintendo doing anything lol😊
I am a smash veteran. I played smash 64, melee, brawl, and ultimate. But brawl is the game that needs to be cherished. Traditional fighting games are always combo heavy; but brawl was different. Brawl had no TRUE combos, maybe a few, small ones, but not really. Which is why I loved the game so much. You constantly had to think, there was no guaranteed anything, you had to read your opponent the entire match to decide how you were going to act next, like a constant game of chess. This is why I think brawl is the best smash game. No cut scenes where you could go on auto pilot; you had to attack and predict what would come next, based on reads. THIS was peak fighting game; NOT that you had to land one single attack and land a string, based on muscle memory, thats lame. Brawl was the peak of smash bros... remove tripping, balance the game like ultimate...... And you have the best fighting game that ever existed. Look at any other sport. There are never guaranteed anything, and videogames should be no different. It should be all reads. But nobody is ready for that conversation yet, because everybody is comfortable with mediocrity

I’ve played Smash since brawl and played competitively since S4 and I never knew Rob didn’t carry ground momentum into its jumps I play this character a fair amount. I knew I liked running to one side of a platform then jumping backwards with up air to cover the whole area. I didn’t know *why* that worked until now Edit: Wait! That’s why sh nair messes with your momentum a little bit! Because you have to have the analog stick in the neutral position for nair, but that also means you can’t jump with full momentum! Because grounded momentum doesn’t carry over! If you want sh full momentum nairs, they can’t be buffered
If you're already good at doing full hop bair from down throw with palutena or doing corrin fair to bair or wolf fair to bair, Roy and chrom jab to full hop bair, all without having to attack cancel, this should be pretty easy for you to do already

The inputs for this tech weirdly reminds me of the inputs for a musty speed flip in Rocket League. If anyone plays RL at a decently high level, they'll understand what I'm saying.
the "tech" itself is really not that hard or new. it's just basically nobody was applying it the way gimr showed. i only really used it to do delayed back airs

Interesting, I want to master this because I hate yoshi nair. As a d3 main thing I want to know is if you can sling through shield. If it's possible to sling d3 forward while b reversing inhale my shield game will be better. I wonder how other command grabs work with this, especially m2.

I saw the ice climbers get split at edge so they covered off edge and your entire roll range
