Hands down the most detailed comparison I have ever seen on RUclips. Everyone who is considering any of these phones or considers moving beyond a dedicated camera should see it. There is a saying, the best camera is one that you have at your disposal. I agree that we reached the point that good enough cameras do not have to add an extra 2-3 kilos around the neck and force one to carry a big bag with additional lenses.

Here is the biggest chapter in the technology bible regarding the comparison of the 3 best cameraphones of the moment in 2024. In a religious cozy atmosphere I discovered that the X7U, 14U and X100U are powerfull archangels. the X100U is above the rest, of course it is not perfect but certainly the most impressive in all photos but downside on video in general. The X7U performs very well in many scenarios, not the best in all but very good in all. The 14U, which is not optimized correctly by the firm in my opinion, is still maintained in many aspects, although with major shortcomings... Thank you and thank you again for your work as a Titan !!! 15 days of post-production ! I know this passionate feeling that borders on sweet madness ;) PS: It seems that Xiaomi's latest firmware would improve stabilization especially for night photos and some improvements in portrait shots. Let's wait and see

Fantastic video well done on this! I own the find x7 ultra and have done since March this year. Software can be a little bit buggy at times being a Chinese rom and having to download the play store yourself however the camera is incredible, it handles gaming amazingly and general browsing/multitasking is smooth as anything. Really impressed with it.

Great video. But sadly you missed pointing out a crucial aspect of these phones (like the rest of the tech content creators). It's about the HDR photo viewing in the Google Photos app (Google Ultra HDR image format 1.0). Only the Oppo and Xiaomi have it. You can't view HDR photos on the Vivo, only in the native gallery app. When viewing photos on the X100U in Google Photos, it's sadly missing that 3D photo HDR look. Also, this is a feature that works across all supported devices: you can view photos and videos taken with the Oppo in HDR even on the Xiaomi and other supported device in the Google Photos app. Also, since they support this google image format, you can post photos and videos on Instagram and other supported apps and they will be viewable in HDR on other supported devices. Also, note that you can't view photos taken with the Vivo in HDR on other devices either. This feature is amazing - you can view photos and videos you took in the future with that awesome 3D light and shadow HDR effect. 😃

Долгое, но очень интересное видео. Было больше похоже на битву vivo и oppo -xiaomi всё же реже брал верх. Не ожидал увидеть макро в 60х, и что орро в этом сценарии иногда будет обходить виво по качеству фото, но виво по макро всё равно чемпион. По цветам, фронтальной камере и видео больше понравился орро. Не понравился микрофон на ксяоми. Были даже мысли от себя тоже отдать победу vivo, но он очень слабо проявил себя в ночном видео -в результате для меня чемпионом остаётся oppo.
Стабилизация видео у виво на всех камерах еще полнейший шлак... Хотя у других оппонентов тоже не лучше. Пока что айфон и самсунг им в плане стабилизации не переплюнуть. И это очень расстраивает, ибо хотел брать виво, но для меня качество видео очень важно. А тут оно отстойное.

Not the greatest videos in the world, because it is not the greatest situation in the world, I hoped to see more, from the "smartphone of the future and next 10 years". Also have some examples in the Hasselblad magic and Zeiss Secrets

Oppo also has master mode, which has a different color science (similar to like Leica authentic) but you can't access it through the normal photo mode, it's a different camera mode.

The 9 pro is sure to be one of the better phone cameras out there when it comes out, Gcam is absolutely op I wish they would also take that leap of faith and go 1inch.. 1 inch is a lot! Trust me that's what my gf told me! Motion of the ocean jokes aside, I am very excited for the new pixel 9 pro, and I think that either phones will take over photography completely, or full size cameras will get Computational power and will show us results never seen before. I feel like zve 10 + sigma 18-50 2.8 is the cheapest modern setup right now, you can buy it 1000-1300$, Nikon z30, may be canon r10, but canon does not have bright modern apcs lens if I remember correctly. Did some one notice like vivo in portraits loose and do weird things like 17:03 what IS happening to the lady eyebrowns reconstrucción? Like u can see pixels and in the others not and happened before w the lips one very rare but in zoomed shots like 17:34 a 200% more details could be of how ytb treats image or because resolution or somethimg like that?

Yes, Vivo is better in terms of overall photography, but there is no FOMO, I really liked Xiaomi a lot, it is better than iPhone, Samsung, Sony in lots of scenarios. I love Leica authentic for portraits, love raw and file sizes, love log on video that is better than on Vivo and support for side apps, your phone is very strong and will serve you well for a long times. The best camera is the one that is with you. I use the S23 Ultra. I've tested many flagship smartphones, and now I've decided to buy a DSLR. I got my full-frame Nikon D750 for $445, and it makes a huge difference compared to any phone I've tested. Just use the one you like and will carry with you. If you understand the basics of photography, you'll get decent images. But if you take a DSLR on your vacation or to your dacha, you'll notice that even your $300-400 full-frame or APS-C sensor camera gives you different quality images, and you simply won't want to use your phone as a camera if you have your DSLR with you.
@@i7Aziko i used my friends Canon 1000D with 350$ lens. It had very nice detail and the mood of the photo but the noise was terrible in anything but daylight. And i was carrying everywhere the tripod. And also the battery life was very bad, at leats compared to phones, maybe because the batteries were old

@@David.1984 Hello my friend. It depends on the models, for example Oppo and Vivo has antenna bands, like 20 band, for connection on providers and carriers. But Xiaomi on chinese Rom do not have this physical antenna, so it is better to buy global version (not global rom) if possible. If you do not plan to use them as network device for calls and web, it does not matter.

Тоже купил Виво х100 ультра на днях и также есть с24 ультра, но рядом с Виво он ни о чем. Самсе есть над чем работать и очень много, вряд уан юай семь что-либо исправит. Виво топ. Также параллельно продолжаю пользоваться Хуавей П30 про с Leica, он все еще может. Что удивительно, при одинаковых размерах экрана х100 ультра кажется намного компактнее чем с 24 ультра, в связи с этим в разы удобнее, с24 ультра как натуральный кирпич

Hello my friend. Sorry, but cant comment on it right now. Vivo is a very strong device, very hard to beat it in photo department. Video is kinda meh on all smartphones, i have not yet seen a good smartphone for video in auto mode, iphone, sony, samsung are litteral garbage with weird colors, and chinise flagships are not far from that, i personally like to use third party apps, to remove artificial stuff, that is for some reason manufactures keep pushing inside their video camera apps. For video i suggest you to look in the DJI Pocket 3 direction, i love this small device, image quaility and stabe is very good, and low light performance is also nice.

The only guy on the whole youtube that has the knowledge of what photography and videography really means, it's like watching a movie , Xiaomi is no match for the other 2 , Oppo is good but Vivo is the truly the best camera system ever put on a phone period, this is not paid stuffs,this is not fanboyism, you just stated your own opinion as a photographer that Vivo is the phone delivering you the results you want ! Same as the other tech youtubers picked Vivo for the same exact reason ! This year im staying with Vivo as my main camera phone, but i'm eagerly waiting for the next year to see which brand will convince me that they have the best camera system and image processing ,that brand will have my money for sure !
The choice is a personal one. There is not as much in it as you think. Vivo processes the hell out of stuff, but what it can capture in terms of details is incredible, except where it over-processes and smooths things out too much. There is a difference between creating a good photo and taking a good photo. For me, Oppo is most natural and presents better colours. Yes it doesn't show everything in the shadows like Vivo does, but photography is about light and dark, what you can and what can't see. Vivo is far more configurable in its auto modes (others need to improve on this), but Oppo is cheaper, charges quicker and holds charge a bit better too. Oppo has the better hardware, but really needs to tweak the 3x lens for sure. They are all amazing for smartphones though, just boils down to personal choice.

It's not just about who's camera is the sharpest, it's about the final image and how close to reality it is. Did you see how the Vivo smoothed out the church stone texture in the zoom test. How's that best? I think the Vivo is a remarkable phone, but you can't just say it's the best there is, it depends on what you shoot and what kind of feel you are looking for. I personally don't want over sharpened, over processed images 'drawn' by Ai. If you do then fill your boots!

oppo find x7 ultra always has problem on autofocusing on small object esp hanging in air. have to use MF but not always can get it exact sharp focused.

Я вижу три разных цвета неба, а значит как минимум две фотографии из них - брак(по моему мнению), на оппо цвет неба очень отличается и подозреваю, что оно таким и было. Китайские телефоны в плане дорисовки это полный мрак. Видел в одном слепом тесте, как виво в погоне за четкостью вообще в некоторых фотках рябь на воде убирает, хоноры цвета делают вырвиглазные и при этом их еще в топ на dxomarket ставят. Такой уровень вмешательства неприемлем для меня, пока планирую ванплас 12 покупать
Здравствуй друже. На Vivo можно в авторежиме убрать насыщенность, убрать резкость вплоть до -100, выбрать Zeiss natural и при этом не потерять HDR и вычисление, так же можно функцию синего ночного неба отключить полностью, но я её очень люблю и всегда включаю. Много гибких настроек есть у этого телефона.

In the video night segment with main camera, what was the resolution/fps? 4k30? 4k60? Were they automatically switiching to 24 fps to gahter more light? I found it strange as vivo as much darker than the others and at the same time it had much more noise, which makes me wonder if the others switched FPS and vivo didn't.
Are the Sony images are straight out of camera JPEGs? I think that the big camera companies can not shoot good jpeg (maybe Fuji is the only exception with the film simulations). They can show what they can do, if you shoot raw and edit afterwards (also including noise reduction and sharpening in post process). But that's a lot of work, if you want a good picture quick these phones are more comfortable.

@@AlienTechnologies33 I have just searched a little regarding the size of 1" sensors and: In the case of 1" vs APS-C, the "crop factor" is 28.4mm / 15.9mm = 1.8" APS-C and f/1.8 on 1" will be equivalent to f/1.8 x 1.8 = f/3.2 on APS-C. So they are really close even without the computational photography.
May be my friend, but on Vivo you can adjust sharpness saturation, contrast, brightness in auto mode with full HDR support and computation, choose zieiss natural color profile and for my taste it will give you more natural dslr like result, (this is just personal taste and choise of pencils), so I can argue who is giving DSLR look. And sometimes xiaomi gives too overprocessed image with lots of sharpness. And phone uses "ai" models not only in 30x, otherwise you wont get this results at all on smartphone, on 30x or if you choose "ai camera" manually you will just get more aggressive and weird algorithm and model for rescaling.

Hands down the most detailed comparison I have ever seen on RUclips. Everyone who is considering any of these phones or considers moving beyond a dedicated camera should see it. There is a saying, the best camera is one that you have at your disposal. I agree that we reached the point that good enough cameras do not have to add an extra 2-3 kilos around the neck and force one to carry a big bag with additional lenses.

Here is the biggest chapter in the technology bible regarding the comparison of the 3 best cameraphones of the moment in 2024. In a religious cozy atmosphere I discovered that the X7U, 14U and X100U are powerfull archangels. the X100U is above the rest, of course it is not perfect but certainly the most impressive in all photos but downside on video in general. The X7U performs very well in many scenarios, not the best in all but very good in all. The 14U, which is not optimized correctly by the firm in my opinion, is still maintained in many aspects, although with major shortcomings... Thank you and thank you again for your work as a Titan !!! 15 days of post-production ! I know this passionate feeling that borders on sweet madness ;)
PS: It seems that Xiaomi's latest firmware would improve stabilization especially for night photos and some improvements in portrait shots. Let's wait and see

Fantastic video well done on this! I own the find x7 ultra and have done since March this year. Software can be a little bit buggy at times being a Chinese rom and having to download the play store yourself however the camera is incredible, it handles gaming amazingly and general browsing/multitasking is smooth as anything. Really impressed with it.

Great video. But sadly you missed pointing out a crucial aspect of these phones (like the rest of the tech content creators). It's about the HDR photo viewing in the Google Photos app (Google Ultra HDR image format 1.0). Only the Oppo and Xiaomi have it. You can't view HDR photos on the Vivo, only in the native gallery app. When viewing photos on the X100U in Google Photos, it's sadly missing that 3D photo HDR look. Also, this is a feature that works across all supported devices: you can view photos and videos taken with the Oppo in HDR even on the Xiaomi and other supported device in the Google Photos app. Also, since they support this google image format, you can post photos and videos on Instagram and other supported apps and they will be viewable in HDR on other supported devices. Also, note that you can't view photos taken with the Vivo in HDR on other devices either. This feature is amazing - you can view photos and videos you took in the future with that awesome 3D light and shadow HDR effect. 😃

Долгое, но очень интересное видео. Было больше похоже на битву vivo и oppo -xiaomi всё же реже брал верх. Не ожидал увидеть макро в 60х, и что орро в этом сценарии иногда будет обходить виво по качеству фото, но виво по макро всё равно чемпион. По цветам, фронтальной камере и видео больше понравился орро. Не понравился микрофон на ксяоми. Были даже мысли от себя тоже отдать победу vivo, но он очень слабо проявил себя в ночном видео -в результате для меня чемпионом остаётся oppo.
Стабилизация видео у виво на всех камерах еще полнейший шлак... Хотя у других оппонентов тоже не лучше. Пока что айфон и самсунг им в плане стабилизации не переплюнуть.
И это очень расстраивает, ибо хотел брать виво, но для меня качество видео очень важно. А тут оно отстойное.

I was very interested in it, watched live galaxy unpacked, was curious about "nightography", "spatial zoom", but unfortunately was dissapointed. I have a video, "buy ANYTHING else", 1300$ camera vs 1300$ phone, 30$ phone vs 1300$ camera, it is about samsung. Not the greatest videos in the world, because it is not the greatest situation in the world, I hoped to see more, from the "smartphone of the future and next 10 years".

Oppo also has master mode, which has a different color science (similar to like Leica authentic) but you can't access it through the normal photo mode, it's a different camera mode.

Did some one notice like vivo in portraits loose and do weird things like 17:03 what IS happening to the lady eyebrowns reconstrucción? Like u can see pixels and in the others not and happened before w the lips one very rare but in zoomed shots like 17:34 a 200% more details could be of how ytb treats image or because resolution or somethimg like that?
Xiaomi 14 ultra user here, looks like Vivo is the best in most situations but I'm very happy with my phone, at least is the best camera phone i ever had 😅

Yes, Vivo is better in terms of overall photography, but there is no FOMO, I really liked Xiaomi a lot, it is better than iPhone, Samsung, Sony in lots of scenarios. I love Leica authentic for portraits, love raw and file sizes, love log on video that is better than on Vivo and support for side apps, your phone is very strong and will serve you well for a long times. I wish you lots of beautiful memories and interesting photos with it ✨🛸🦾

The best camera is the one that is with you. I use the S23 Ultra. I've tested many flagship smartphones, and now I've decided to buy a DSLR. I got my full-frame Nikon D750 for $445, and it makes a huge difference compared to any phone I've tested. Just use the one you like and will carry with you. If you understand the basics of photography, you'll get decent images. But if you take a DSLR on your vacation or to your dacha, you'll notice that even your $300-400 full-frame or APS-C sensor camera gives you different quality images, and you simply won't want to use your phone as a camera if you have your DSLR with you.
@@i7Aziko i used my friends Canon 1000D with 350$ lens. It had very nice detail and the mood of the photo but the noise was terrible in anything but daylight. And i was carrying everywhere the tripod. And also the battery life was very bad, at leats compared to phones, maybe because the batteries were old

@@David.1984 Hello my friend. It depends on the models, for example Oppo and Vivo has antenna bands, like 20 band, for connection on providers and carriers. But Xiaomi on chinese Rom do not have this physical antenna, so it is better to buy global version (not global rom) if possible. If you do not plan to use them as network device for calls and web, it does not matter.

Хорошее видео, длинноватое правда, но посмотрел полностью) Заморочился ты конкретно конечно, не представляю сколько монтаж у тебя занял. Тоже купил Виво х100 ультра на днях и также есть с24 ультра, но рядом с Виво он ни о чем. Самсе есть над чем работать и очень много, вряд уан юай семь что-либо исправит. Виво топ. Также параллельно продолжаю пользоваться Хуавей П30 про с Leica, он все еще может. Что удивительно, при одинаковых размерах экрана х100 ультра кажется намного компактнее чем с 24 ультра, в связи с этим в разы удобнее, с24 ультра как натуральный кирпич

Hello my friend. Sorry, but cant comment on it right now. Vivo is a very strong device, very hard to beat it in photo department. Video is kinda meh on all smartphones, i have not yet seen a good smartphone for video in auto mode, iphone, sony, samsung are litteral garbage with weird colors, and chinise flagships are not far from that, i personally like to use third party apps, to remove artificial stuff, that is for some reason manufactures keep pushing inside their video camera apps. For video i suggest you to look in the DJI Pocket 3 direction, i love this small device, image quaility and stabe is very good, and low light performance is also nice.
i am planning to make additional video where i will compare 4 + 0.5 (samsung s24u) phones vs each other. If you have something to request in video department i will think if it is possible to implement in new video

The only guy on the whole youtube that has the knowledge of what photography and videography really means, it's like watching a movie , Xiaomi is no match for the other 2 , Oppo is good but Vivo is the truly the best camera system ever put on a phone period, this is not paid stuffs,this is not fanboyism, you just stated your own opinion as a photographer that Vivo is the phone delivering you the results you want ! Same as the other tech youtubers picked Vivo for the same exact reason ! This year im staying with Vivo as my main camera phone, but i'm eagerly waiting for the next year to see which brand will convince me that they have the best camera system and image processing ,that brand will have my money for sure !
The choice is a personal one. There is not as much in it as you think. Vivo processes the hell out of stuff, but what it can capture in terms of details is incredible, except where it over-processes and smooths things out too much. There is a difference between creating a good photo and taking a good photo. For me, Oppo is most natural and presents better colours. Yes it doesn't show everything in the shadows like Vivo does, but photography is about light and dark, what you can and what can't see. Vivo is far more configurable in its auto modes (others need to improve on this), but Oppo is cheaper, charges quicker and holds charge a bit better too. Oppo has the better hardware, but really needs to tweak the 3x lens for sure. They are all amazing for smartphones though, just boils down to personal choice.

It's not just about who's camera is the sharpest, it's about the final image and how close to reality it is. Did you see how the Vivo smoothed out the church stone texture in the zoom test. How's that best? I think the Vivo is a remarkable phone, but you can't just say it's the best there is, it depends on what you shoot and what kind of feel you are looking for. I personally don't want over sharpened, over processed images 'drawn' by Ai. If you do then fill your boots!

oppo find x7 ultra always has problem on autofocusing on small object esp hanging in air. have to use MF but not always can get it exact sharp focused.

28:45 - круто, что виво такие детализированные снимки делает, но небо было реально такого цвета? Я вижу три разных цвета неба, а значит как минимум две фотографии из них - брак(по моему мнению), на оппо цвет неба очень отличается и подозреваю, что оно таким и было.
Китайские телефоны в плане дорисовки это полный мрак. Видел в одном слепом тесте, как виво в погоне за четкостью вообще в некоторых фотках рябь на воде убирает, хоноры цвета делают вырвиглазные и при этом их еще в топ на dxomarket ставят. Такой уровень вмешательства неприемлем для меня, пока планирую ванплас 12 покупать

Здравствуй друже. На Vivo можно в авторежиме убрать насыщенность, убрать резкость вплоть до -100, выбрать Zeiss natural и при этом не потерять HDR и вычисление, так же можно функцию синего ночного неба отключить полностью, но я её очень люблю и всегда включаю. Много гибких настроек есть у этого телефона.

That low light selfie video of xiaomi looks like a main camera video from other phones.
@@ViniciusFarias xiaomi is very good at video, but have some problems too. I like to take control over video recording on all modern phones.
In the video night segment with main camera, what was the resolution/fps? 4k30? 4k60? Were they automatically switiching to 24 fps to gahter more light? I found it strange as vivo as much darker than the others and at the same time it had much more noise, which makes me wonder if the others switched FPS and vivo didn't.

Are the Sony images are straight out of camera JPEGs?
I think that the big camera companies can not shoot good jpeg (maybe Fuji is the only exception with the film simulations). They can show what they can do, if you shoot raw and edit afterwards (also including noise reduction and sharpening in post process).
But that's a lot of work, if you want a good picture quick these phones are more comfortable.
Now I see, you compared raw as well, at the second half of the video.

Yes, I would also like to see the computational photography on cameras. (I have full frame cameras for some work, but for holiday I don't like to bring them, because they are too big, and you need to process all images).
@@AlienTechnologies33 I have just searched a little regarding the size of 1" sensors and:
In the case of 1" vs APS-C, the "crop factor" is 28.4mm / 15.9mm = 1.8"
APS-C and f/1.8 on 1" will be equivalent to f/1.8 x 1.8 = f/3.2 on APS-C.
So they are really close even without the computational photography.
Only Xiaomi has DSLR look, btw Afaik ai does not kick in at zooms less than 30x,not sure why constant mention of ai models
May be my friend, but on Vivo you can adjust sharpness saturation, contrast, brightness in auto mode with full HDR support and computation, choose zieiss natural color profile and for my taste it will give you more natural dslr like result, (this is just personal taste and choise of pencils), so I can argue who is giving DSLR look. And sometimes xiaomi gives too overprocessed image with lots of sharpness. And phone uses "ai" models not only in 30x, otherwise you wont get this results at all on smartphone, on 30x or if you choose "ai camera" manually you will just get more aggressive and weird algorithm and model for rescaling.

Oppo have the best ,,fast moving photos,, for shure. Oppo doesn't have a burst mode, but burst mode on vivo and Xiaomi is useless)
