Giveaway ends on June 30th 2023 Beware of scammers! In the past people tried to scam commentators here and pretended to be me. Always double check if it is really my account telling you that you've won. I will pay for shipping myself. I do these giveaways whenever possible to give something back to this great community - not to get money from anyone. Good luck!
People like you are the heart and soul of extreme metal today. Thank you for helping keep this thing of ours alive and forging forward with the support, intensity and integrity it deserves.
My name is Dez, I am half Ukrainian and German by origin, but I live in Russia. I have been making music for a long time. It was you who inspired me to start my RUclips channel, where I also make covers and original music, as well as spoken videos in Russian. To be honest, I'm stage fright and love working in the studio. so I don't need this prize. Give it to those who really need it! I would like to try to sing for you with great pleasure, this would be the main prize for me. 😊 I've been following your guitar playing for a long time, ever since you played in Mor Dagor.
I'm a new subscriber and I'm Harold from Philippines. I'm an electric guitarist in our small church. I always bring my own guitar to our church because we are luck of instruments and things for music. That ear monitoring is a big help not just for myself but to our church
I have been following your channel for quite a while now (maybe 6 years) and as a musician, I love the fact that you are able to share informations about the most musical part as well as the more technical side of things. I am evaluating this as a backup to my share psm300 or for maybe future fly in gigs (if there ever will be some). Definitely worth the money. Love your cover and determination as a musician, Keep it up!
Looking at your videos today, it’s very clear to see the progression in your editing and overall quality. I hope you continue to get joy from what you do, and stay passionate. Cheers from Oregon.
I love your content and think that it is just very humble that you make these honest gear reviews and giveaways. Keep up the good work 😄 Greetings from Luxembourg!
Hey Lykanthrop, I’m Gabriel from Brazil! I am a fellow metal drummer and musician who enjoys your videos a lot. I respect your work very much as a solo artist (with the awesome covers as well) and am really glad to see your career developing with such important bands on the metal scene. Well I don’t have any experience with in ear monitoring whatsoever, I have only played on small venues and it’s really hard to keep up with the band I know. So with the U4 I would be glad to improve my live playing and give the best experience to the audience. That’s it, I hope you read it and that chance finds me worthy to win! I’ll keep watching your videos as always.
Thanks for the great review , really helps with my decision . Being a drummer here in Hawaii I already have enough to carry around and these won’t take much space or weight.
Hello! big fan from Costa Rica. I am a singer and guitarrist of a local band called Satanic Slave. I would definitely use this live or even on a rehearsal space since as a vocalist I have to struggle with hearing myself and dealing with feedback. Wish the best luck to everyone!!
I've followed your channel quite a while and your gear videos have helped me a lot for choosing gears for my self! Thank you for that and thanks for all those excellent covers!
Hey man! Just dropped a subscribe to your channel, I'm a metal guitarist and I'm getting into in ear monitor systems currently and I'm glad I found your video over it. I'm in the Navy in the US and I got love for the Germans, we had a German ship pull into Norfolk, VA. and I went out drinking with some of those guys, and the group of 5 guys I took to the bar managed to rack up a bill of $1000. I've never seen anyone drink that hardcore, and they handled it well man, you couldn't even tell they were smashed lol. Anyhow, thanks for the information, the in ear monitor system stuff can be kind of intimidating when you're getting into it but you broke it down well enough for me to understand. Prost!
I have been thinking of this exact in ear system for a year now but havn't bought it yet. I have a cheap T.Bone system that works well but I am not so happy with the sound quality. Just released the 4th album with my black metal band "Ondfodt" and we will start playing shows soon and would ofc be happy with an in ear system with good sound quality and that you can trust enough to play shows with. I love you content and have been following you for many years. You really stepped up the game with your videos in the past 2 years, looks so professional and inspiring the way you film and edit your videos and ofc the playing is getting so damn good. Anyways, I wish you all the best!
Great Video and my Band just started using the system! Had been using Shure and XVive worked perfect with our PA! Would recommend this system to everyone! Lightweight and takes up far less room! Our Band is JR & The Moonshine Band from Phoenix, Arizona!
Nices Review!
Thanks for the review.....I'm studying various IEM systems and this one keeps getting good reviews. We'll be putting it on the list of systems to explore for sure. Certainly economical. We're a classic rock band, in it's first year, in Savannah, GA.
Hi Lykanthrop, I'm Stefan from Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. I'm a guitar player and I really enjoy your videos (and I don't have any in ear monitoring yet ;)). Right now I had to take a break from playing because I recently had a surgery because of carpal tunnel syndrom. But the doctors say its healing good and I can't wait to come back to my guitar, maybe in one or two weeks. In the meantime your videos among others help me shorten the waiting time ;) I especially love the Dissection covers, very inspiring, and I think I'm going to learn some of their stuff when I can come back to play. Last year the singer of my band emigrated to Romania, so we have had a hard time rehearsing without him. I tried to sing as many of his parts as possible at the rehearsals, but that turned ut to be pretty hard and not always possible. But he comes to visit us in the summer and I hope my hand we be fine by then and that we can have as many rehearsals as possible and just having fun together. I hope you keep entertaining us with your great videos. Thank you and greetings!
hi ! thank you so much for doing that kind of give aways ! by the way I've been following your content for a very long time and I always found it inspiring ! I'm coming from France and I happen to play drums in a lot of different situations, from worship bands at church or on tour in big venues, all the way to small underground clubs playing brutal death metal ! in all these situations getting a decent monitoring system is no easy task so I'm trying to be as independant as possible. So that kind of system (which I've had in mind for a while now) might be a huge step up for me !! Thanks again for all your work and all the content you're producing !!
Hi man! I have been following you for quite some time here, and yeah. Big fan of yours. The covers are always so fucking awesome. Appreciate what you do for the community. Personally i have been busy with starting to learn the drums. My goal is to become a great drummer and trying to start a band. I have some friends who play the guitar and i am sure if i try hard enough i can actually try and get something out of this. I am only 19 so i have a big future ahead of me, but hell yeah i can use a pair of these. Thanks and have a nice day 💪⚡️
Cool. Glen Bowker in a 6 piece considering them for the first time today. Research left me looking at Audiofusion software today. It just makes sense that we would simply use our phones and airpods instead of buying YET another proprietary single purpose gadget to charge. I think that is super cool and possibly the coolest re-use of a phone for yet another app. I wish I had your influence because I would ask them for a copy of that. Great review! And if you do get a copy of Audio fusion, please give me this gadget because I use Android and would love it!
i've been following you for quite some time; i'm a drummer as well and i've been meaning to start using in ear monitors but they're too expensive for my budget ^^
Excellent channel, I'm a big fan of Dissection and I think that you should continue to do some covers from them. BTW Can we get a Thulcandra cover ? keep it trve.

Hello. I stumbled upon your channel only a few weeks ago and I really liked some of your gear videos so I god really interested in your other videos. I am a guitarist from Serbia. I finished high school for music- for guitar and I after that I really started looking for some ideas for my career. I figured out that I'm good at writing poetry and I can spend countless hours composing classical pieces, but I like rock and metal music.. Soo I figured out: ''Hey, why don't I start a rock band?'' So year and a half from that moment I'm currently actively performing with my band, we write our music and we couldn't enjoy more. We're planning our first tour and it's going great. But I really have some problems with performing live, because I'm pretty tall and I really hear badly sound from my amp. I mean that goes so far that there were some gigs where I completely didn't hear myself. I mean I tried lifting the amp up, and that helped but it's really not enough. I also got a processor so I could go directly to the mixer but the sound from monitors on stage is usually crap.. So I figured out that it would be the best for me to get an in-ear system but they're pretty expensive (at least for me) and I also have some investments in my guitar that are more urgent than in-ear... So this in-ear system would probably resurrect me on stage ahahahah.. Either way, I'm continuing with my gigs and I will spare some money for an in-ear in some future. So yea that would be just a peek into my music career bcs I also play double bass, piano and slavic national instrument: tambura. And I'm pretty active in many genres of music (because money hehe is always needed) but I enjoy playing with my band the most! P.S. I hope that you're channel will grow even faster because I really like your covers and gear videos! Peace
Sæll (which is popular greeting in Icelandic). Just want to let you know, there are lots of great metal bands in Iceland (you're probably aware) but did you know, there's still undiscovered one, that I play guitar at? :) The name of the band is PoczwaR. And we'll never be famous :)
Is the antenna directional on the unit? I mean if my mixer is pointed against me on the stage, is it better to connect it through an adapter and pint it more toward me or does it not matter because it’s a WIFI signal? Thanks
So far I didn't notice any bad signal because of the way it is connected. Most of the times the antenna is not facing me but is rather hidden behind oder gear. Still there were no dropouts or a noticeable shorter range. Personally I wouldn't go through the extra trouble with an adapter.
My name is Danrev 25 years old I never tried to use ear monitoring system before or even own one. I heard alot of beautiful comments and feed back about it though. I really want to own one if given a chance
we had a brief chat if it makes sense to only put guitars to inears, on your last video finally we switched to inear monitors for all - your last video gave the final bump we also switched from an old behringer eurodesk analog console to a soundcraft ui24R for cost reasons we started with a cheap wireless system - which was a pain, even the rehersal room having a lot interference in the monitors, and not beeing able to use the third sender at all - hopping through all availble frequency settings didnt help at all at the moment each of us runs a cable based inear system as you said last time: it makes you better as a band instantly, as you can simply hear each other so much better not wanting to advertise the ui24R: but being able to record the rehearshal with no effort to USB and use the recording to adjust your own mix and listen to your mistakes afterwards is also really great (when ur coming from an old analog console and not using monitors at all, or active floor monitors, that is a great boost) so giving XVive a try would be nice ;)
Actually I've become interested in IEMs after trying using HB plug thing (with amps, some effects and headphones out) for my guitar. It also has Bluetooth, so I could follow guitar lesson sound with my guitar sound simultaneously! How cool is that?
Now things may have changed, but 10 years ago my music pals would never play with wireless gear. Roughly for the same reason we don't use wireless PC hardware, wifi and so on if we have a wired alternative. Okay, the wires can be annoying but is this beneficial enough ?
Would it be possible to have two signals on the transmitter? Like with a Y cable? The idea is to have one route from the table with the band's mix without bass and the other route connects directly to the d.i. from my amp, which would allow me to control the bass volume, is this possible?
That sounds overly complicated with the y-splittercable. Just use a separate small mixer. Even a cheap behringer one should do the trick. There you can adjust everything you want and simply plug in the transmitter as normal.
Hey Seth! I'm using the Sony a7 IV with a Samyang 35mm f/1.4 for the talking parts, Samyang 24-70mm for the live shots and for the product shots I used a Brightin Star 50mm f/0.95
This would be a great help for me and for the all girls band that we are trying to build. We are still collecting more instruments and things that we need to perform live

we had a brief chat if it makes sense to only put guitars to inears, on your last video
finally we switched to inear monitors for all - your last video gave the final bump
we also switched from an old behringer eurodesk analog console to a soundcraft ui24R
for cost reasons we started with a cheap wireless system - which was a pain, even the rehersal room
having a lot interference in the monitors, and not beeing able to use the third sender at all - hopping through all availble frequency settings didnt help at all
at the moment each of us runs a cable based inear system
as you said last time: it makes you better as a band instantly, as you can simply hear each other so much better
not wanting to advertise the ui24R: but being able to record the rehearshal with no effort to USB and use the recording to adjust your own mix and listen to your mistakes afterwards is also really great
(when ur coming from an old analog console and not using monitors at all, or active floor monitors, that is a great boost)
so giving XVive a try would be nice ;)
