    Thank you for this great video, I love it.
    However, you should maybe also mention that the 325ix Touring was the first BMW with AWD. So actually a very important model in BMW's history.

    This is wonderful, but I sure wish you would've spent more time in the e30 room going over each car, especially the Cabrio because I have one 😂

    Not all nameplates were numbers starting in the 70's. The "Bavaria" was sold in North America. To be fair the European version of the nearest equivalent E3 was known as the 3.0s. Some European owners would obtain the "Bavaria" badge and put it on because they liked the name. I believe the "Bavaria" is the only BMW designed car to sport a name not a number. The Dixi , Wartburg, Isetta, & Glas all had designs by other manufactures involved. Too bad he didn't mention the 2000 Touring.

    To me one the best invention in e30 series is e30ix

    Is that E30 Touring the actual car that was made by Mark?

    • @Hoo9Ha
      @Hoo9Ha 4 года назад +1

      No its not. This is a production Model. Max Reisböcks Prototype touring was based on a black 323i pre facelift model which was scrapped after BMWs decision to build an own estate. He used the rear window of a VW Golf/Rabbit I.
      In the same time a dutch Company has built four 2-door-tourings and a german BMW store also built a touring Prototype.

    Does Max Reisböck's original home-made E30 Touring still exist I wonder?

      I thought they were saying that one they showed is the one he made. Otherwise I'm not sure why it would be "special."

    Dear BMW - you might as well sling my 640iGT into your museum as you’ve done your damn best to cull it from the USA and the UK. It must be as rare as an M1.

    look people, at the last minute we made the best car in the world- BMW E30 touring- a practical lightweight family estate car that could be tuned for racetrack driving for a couple g´s worth but now we make heavy niche cars for the stupid and the rich. Yeah lets make cars perform well on highspeed circuits and autobahns, leave consumers totally inert and give the primary control to electromechanical actuators whilst giving the drivers an impression that lasts untill the first low grip accident avoidance manouver that has to be performed with 2 tonnes of mass, good luck!!!

    This Presenter doesn't know much and is a bit awkward, Mark created the REAR of the car out of metal , as it can be seen in photos online .. also i cringed when he had his hands all over the E30 Touring in this video, I think its the same person who pushed the E30 M3 from the rear fiberglass wing vs the C pillar or bumper as it should be in one of the previous videos... Amateur pick up a book or two of the history of the make and spend some time in a workshop.
