I‘m so sad her palette isn’t available anymore. I didn’t order because it was expensive (palette plus shipping to Germany and I didn’t have enough money back then). If she pulls a Taylor Swift and releases it again with another brand I will be the first to buy it.
Tati, you have NO idea how happy it makes me to see you review and talk about indie brands I've been loving for YEARS! I've literally been with Glaminatrix and Odens eye from the very beginning of their brands and they are just so incredibly amazing and do things no main stream brands could even come close to. THANK YOU for showcasing them for the rest of the community to find and experience!

@@whippetgood gosh thats not a fair question 😂 I truly love both brands. I think you need to go for whichever color stories suit u more, the quality on all of these, whatsup beauty as well is incredible, you cant go wrong with any of their products!

Finally someone with a larger audience giving these Indie brands their shout out! Another fabulous brand is Adept Cosmetics. Their makeup in general but especially their multi chromes are out of this world! I own everything they come out with, it’s that amazing! Another brand is Cosmic Brushes. They have beautiful eyeshadow palettes

Odens Eye is one of my favorite brands for eyeshadow. Their color stories are fabulous and the formula always blows my mind. Super pigmented but easy to work with.
Do you get hardpan swatching their shadows? At least the jewels and gems palette? I did once and they immediately sealed shut 😭
@ultraviolettas I haven't noticed any issues...I generally use brushes instead of my fingers with Oden shimmers.
I’m 54 and hey girls just wanna have fun😊 I think putting color on nails or a fun liner is always a good way to play. I wouldn’t do it all at once but it all comes off - gotta get in our smiles and satisfaction at any age as long as we’re not hurting anyone.

Would you please do a pinned comment or update your caption to include credit for those photos? I imagine you got their photos off the brands' feed, but they're not working for the brand, they're independent creators whose content was reposted with permission.
They worked hard to make them, and other people deserve to find their amazing content too. 😊

I absolutely loved this video. Please please please share more indy brands! And those purses are stunning. I can crochet a little, but nothing like that. That woman is a true artist. Finally, it was great to hear about Taylor. Congratulations to him on his newest release.
I recently saw this hack where if you put vanilla extract by itself or mixed in your moisturiser the mosquitoes won’t even come near you because apparently they don’t like vanilla scent very much.
I’m gonna try that!
It works till the moisturiser absorbs and the sent will dissipate 😊
And it works also with clove spice
My brother just sprays on vanilla extract like it’s bug spray. He works outside and swears by it.

Hey Tati! I’m happy you are supporting and showcasing indie brands. You should credit the creators that you used photos of to demonstrate the products. You took their photos presumably from Instagram so it shouldn’t be that hard to go and link them in your description. Noopur, Jak and Kim deserve the credit!

Tati, you should try ILNP! They have the best holographic and shimmer nail polishes I've ever tried.
I am currently wearing Picture Polish's polish called Always Remember. They are an indie maker from Australia. (I live in the states). As for nail polish, there are no longer any rules! Thank goodness. As a self proclaimed nail polish addict, I love trying indie brands and like What's Up Beauty's nail polish and nail stamping polishes. By the way, they started their company as a nail polish company called What's Up Nails. As you probably already know, Holo Taco is hands down my favorite indie polish maker because the quality is unmatched. You've got to know Cristine from Simply Nailogical does things right! Keep wearing all the shades Tati, it's so much fun! Rose

Okay, LOVE the nails!! Not tacky at all. I love glittery, sparkly, fun nail polish; I don’t think there will ever be a day when I don’t enjoy it. I’ll proudly wear it til the day I die☺️ Also, have you tried Holo Taco nail polish?? I’m obsessed with theirs! Lasts for days and they have so many cool colors and types of polishes - highly recommend
I’m glad companies are still doing crazy makeup because not everyone is a nude/latte makeup lover and makeup can be crazy and fun it doesn’t have to look or feel practical ♥️

Right now, I'm wearing Crimson Void from Holo Taco on my nails. I have quite a few colors from Mooncat and absolutely love them! Yes, the names can be a little dark, however to me it's just a clever play on words and doesn't bother me. I'm really starting to get into Indie companies and really enjoy seeing what is out there! Loved this run down of some good ones!

I'm so happy that Tati has dived into the magical world of indie makeup! Their eyeshadows can't be beaten! Adept, Unearthly, MBA, Devinah and Terra moons are really good too. Etsy has a good number of sellers for eyeshadows and nail polishes. A big "yes" to shadows and polishes totally glittery!
I'm obsessed with Holo Tacos color Stay Grounded. Really pretty camel color, perfect for fall. And sometimes I'll put one of their glitter shades on top of it like Fallen Flake taco. It's the colors of falling leaves 🍂
You actually introduced me to Mooncat. Love it. I am at this minute removing my last full-on summer color - Mermaid Bait. It goes from turquoise-green to pink. I have the best time no matter what I’m doing when I wear this polish. See you next year Mermaid Bait! 💅
Try a pimple patch with colloidal oatmeal for the mosquito bite it helps the itch 😀like the Mighty Patch

I love seeing the indie spotlight! Most of the creators I watch focus on indie brands, so this is a treat. I absolutely love that blue polish and want it all over my toenails. My pedi techs always laugh at me because of how predictable I am with choosing blue for my toes. This is the perfect blue. 😁

Mooncat's "Mercury's Tears". I was going to wear their "Arcade Monster", for fall but I just love "Mercury's Tears". I'm glad I did because a lady at the bank asked for me to show her grandson how the color shifts, and then we chatted nail polish 😂.
I received "Mercury's Tears" as a birthday present because my cat's name is Mercury. It's STUNNING!

It is! I love the shifters! Mermaid Bait and Arcade Monster (limited). Not so much the sugar one that came with Mermaid Bait, though. It stained my nails pink. I think it needs not only a base coat but a white polish to go under.
I am so obsessed with red right now on my nails, I am currently wearing a dark red nail polish and I put a white chrome powder on top. I love looking at them in the sunlight 😂😍

@Tati you MUST get a shaker of meat tenderizer. Yes, like an "in the cooking and baking section of the grocery store" meat tenderizer. When you get a bite, from any insect, you immediately get it a little wet and smear some meat tenderizer on there and massage it in for like 30 seconds. The venom is actually a protein and meat tenderizer denatures the protein so you don't get as strong (or sometimes not any) reaction to the bites. Be blessed.
Aw, Tati-my husband’s the mosquito victim in our household. The fact that the mosquitos seem to only want him continues to baffle me, but dang it, it’s a real nice perk. I’d like to think it’s because he’s so sweet. Also, that nail color is WHAT’S UP & thank you for highlighting Glaminatrix. Excellent quality products and that palette is such a fun color story.

I love GAP so much! They have great 100% cotton items, if you’re wanting to stay away from polyester and other questionable textiles! Actress Anna May Wong always matched her lipstick to her nails and she’s one of the most beautiful people to have ever walked this earth! Currently, I’m wearing an out of this world glittery gray/green gel polish! Congratulations Taylor! It sounds amazing! 💕
Tati, I relate. I can be in a group of people at a campsite and no one in the group of 8 or more people have even seen a mosquito, until I arrive, and they instantly form a cloud around me and attack. I can also be in a populous city when it is not the time of day for mosquitos, where they just shouldn’t be, and I will have 5 bites in less than 5 minutes. I do not know why, but it has always been this way…and I swell a LOT with the bites…they are the bane of my existence!!!😢

I totally agree that some makeup brands seem to over sexualize there product names and marketing. I work in retail (specifically in the cosmetic department) and there have been awkward times when a younger clients and older too that look uncomfortable with these gross names on their products.
I have Holo Taco on my nails always. I love bright and sparkly most of the time, but Cristine has some great neutrals too!

I returned a KVD makeup palette bc of product names. The names were weird so I looked them up and they were demons. That’s a big no. Same with sexual themes & evil themes: huge turn off for this Christian woman. I agree words are powerful. I love companies that use innocent or even inspirational names: shout out to Rare Beauty and Sydney Grace.

I love your nails! I also love matching my polish & eyeshadow most of the time. Autumn is my favorite time of year for the duochrome, shimmer, bright and bold nail polishes. Plus it’s September so what better time than to wear a Sapphire nail polish, right? I’m 64 in two weeks. Right now I’m wearing a black shimmer polish.

I love that you have done this video but honestly was a long time coming. I feel that indie makeup companies have been it for last few years for sure. It would be difficult having to test all the makeup products that you get sent but as a real time makeup consumer it surprised me it took this long. Good job as always the swatches the product shots the try ons all so good. Thank you for this video.

There’s so many great indie brands! You didn’t even mention some of the best ones! The sugar and spice palette is good and they have another palette that I’m obsessed with too. You should try some other brands too! Not just ones that’s been sent to you! Unearthly cosmetics, Gourmend Girls, Sugar Drizzle are a few right off the top of my head, but there’s so many more out there! Adept is a really good one, their shifty shades haves so much sparkle! They look like glitters but aren’t glitters!

I’ve been trying indie brands because I love glittery, duo chrome colors on my lids and as highlighters.
I just got a palette from Nomad Cosmetics. And have recently picked up palettes from Unearthly cosmetics and Ensley Rein cosmetics.
And just ordered a few goodies from a brand called Milan Rowe.
Love trying different brands!
My favorite indie brand is Blendbunny! The way they treat their customers & have integrity is just amazing.
Tati, I live in San Diego and we had serious mosquito issue here as well. I had pest control come over and treat my whole property . Trust me ,they are all gone. Nothing else worked for us. BTW,love your content❤❤❤
