Right?! There has to be something that a judge can rule, where the same ding dong can't sue you in every state.
Who was suing her?
Yeah, I just can’t wrap my head around how any of this is allowed. By the fourth time he sued her, that judge should have been like “sir, leave this poor woman alone! And go on with your damn life“ (also, I know it was four different states, so the judge wasn’t the same judge for all four. But, you would think he would still be able to see all of the previous lawsuits he filed against her.)

Tati- I went through a VERY similar situation where I was accused of doing something I did not do and I won. It is very disheartening and upsetting that someone you knew and formed a bond with could do this to you. All I can say is stay strong and power through - you will prevail and come out the other side stronger. Although you could have lived without going through this - You will be ok.

It’s always fascinated me (as someone who isn’t from the US) how there are multiple different laws & regulations (including lawsuits) in different states despite them being part of the same country - especially when it comes from one person. I can’t imagine how stressful one lawsuit is let alone multiple! Sending my love to you Tati 🤍

Each state has their own state laws because that sovereign state is trying to meet the needs of their state as best they can. And that is different for Maine, Missouri, Arizona, and Alaska. Each state is an independent entity subject only to the basic requirements of the U.S. Constitution

Imagine someone who hates you to death and yet watches every single video you post, hears every single word you say, follows you wherever go and move… this person should get an award for being your most dedicated follower. It’s an addicted obsession. They go to sleep every night just thinking of you, crying about what you’re saying or doing… Mental illness. Tell me that this person is a narcissist psychopath without telling me. These are the kind of people that accomplish nothing in their life except by leeching from other people’s success. Hi Tati, Good Luck tomorrow and the advice I give from a court reporting firm side. Listen to the question if you're not sure don't be afraid to ask them to repeat or rephrase especially if you don't understand it. Wait for them to finish asking their question before you responds the worst thing on a court reporter is when people talk over one another and you can't understand what they're saying because they're talking over one another. Especially if you have a fast speaking attorney that is just firing questions left and right and it's boggling the mind because you're trying to comprehend what they're saying but they're speaking so fast
If you don't know your responses don't be afraid to say I don't remember I don't recall or I don't know. Don't be afraid to ask for a break if it gets to be overwhelming. There's nothing wrong with asking for a break for you to go to the washroom or to get a drink of water to just give yourself a moment to take a deep breath and try and calm down. Sometimes there are female attorneys there too. Hopefully you have an excellent attorney yourself that will have prepared you and prepped you for all this and giving you a sense of peace and not to feel so stressed about it virtual hugs 🤗 and prayers 🙏 to you.

Also answer the question that's being asked. For example, if they ask, "do you know what time it is?" Don't say, "yes it's x time." Say, "yes." Keep your answers short and straight to the point.

I know someone who was labeled a vexatious litigant in CA. I wonder if there's a federal version of that because he's filing in different states.
The very fact that a man who has been incredibly inappropriate, and has caused you so much trauma, both personally and professionally, has been allowed to initiate so many frivolous lawsuits is astonishing. You will be in my thoughts and prayers Tati. Hopefully you and James can finally be rid of that man and his entire despicable family once and for all!

I was taken back to court by my daughter's dad in July. The lead up is just as exhausting with the anxiety that builds. Also, having any small mishap or decision you've made be scrutinized and questioned is really hard. I fully understand how you're feeling. Praying for you. He will get you through this

No one asked but... this kind of stress is exactly what Family Court felt like for me. I left an abusive relationship and he dragged me through countless invalid motions just to exhaust me financially and emotionally when I was already raising our daughter alone. 5 years later, the trial finally ended in my favor and I have some peace. Just an "I see you moms being treated unfairly and it will get better" ❤

Hi Tati, I’m an attorney in Dallas and a long-time viewer who loves you and all of your content ❤. I’m so sorry you’re going through this traumatic experience. Even as a lawyer, getting sued personally, especially by a former friend and business partner, would be terrible and overwhelming for anyone to experience, and I’m inspired by how classily you’ve chosen to overcome the experience to the best anyone could by refusing to let it eat away at your positive spirit and embitter you. I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts.
To your question in the video, unfortunately (and I have to note that this is just informal advice to a friend and not the professional advice of my firm, sorry to have to point that out), I do recommend that you tone down the makeup for court and the depo and avoid glitter 😊Impressions are a part of the strategy and you don’t want to give off the air that you aren’t taking the events seriously. You want to let the court know how much of a toll these events have taken on you personally and professionally, which is still authentic, although maybe a side you’re more uncomfortable showing to the other side. Although I know you are trying your best to rise above it all, you don’t want to come off as defiant or cold to the adjudicators by glamming it up too much in the courtroom, who you’re trying to get on your side! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!
This was weird advice. Are you really an attorney? 😆 That seems like such ridiculous, and immature advice, to give someone about court appearances. Most people, with common sense, know not to go into court wearing glitter. But, actually, Tati never wears an offensive amount of glitter, even in her glam styles. Compared to many makeup artists on RUclips, Tati has a very natural, neutral esthetic. I’m 99% sure Tati goes into a courtroom wearing a nice business suit, probably a slick back hairstyle, or soft blowout hairstyle, and a neutral makeup. I mean, LOOK at her style….does she look like she’d wear glitter into a courtroom? 🙄 How insulting to her.

It is so difficult to trust that the universe will take care of things, especially when one person is basically tanking himself trying to go after you. The SAME person suing someone in 4 different states shows that persons state of mind isn’t stable and hopefully the judges see that. This sounds like an angry person on a cash grab and I’m sending prayers your way ❤

When someone sues you over and over and they continually lose...they shoud be forced to pay your attorney bills PLUS other costs. Its unbelievable.

A massive clear-out of things tied to the issue always helps calm me, because it feels like I am already starting to get rid of it before I actually am doing the thing if that makes sense
I’m not an attorney or pretend to be one. You seem to be being “stalked” through the legal system. With three frivolous lawsuits already dismissed, one would think that sets a precedent for recourse to put and end to this nonsense. I’m sorry this is happening to you, sending positive vibes.
I’ve been there. For a medical malpractice case that cost me my fertility. To go through infertility AND then a court case on top of it is re-traumatizing. I don’t see how people sue “just because” I remember my deposition day. It was terrified waiting for that day. People who haven’t been there don’t understand the cloud that just looms over you constantly. Scared to check the mail or emails just because receiving letters and notices or calls from attorneys are so triggering. I feel for you. but I’m here to tell you nothing feels better than that first freeing breath when it’s all over.
You filling in your brows with the spa music playing was actually so relaxing and peaceful... the perfect mood to set if you're feeling stressed and anxious. I really hope you can leave all this legal stuff behind you soon!

Good luck, Tati & James! Just be calm and answer honestly. Don’t sugar coat. It feels very invasive, but they really do need to know all of the nitty gritty. It’s better to put it all out on the table than have regrets about not mentioning something. Be consistent and confident. You got this! 💕
I got fired illegally and started litigation before I got fired. 2 meetings and 5 emails = $5k.
Still got fired and switched to a no win no fee situation.
However, I've never been through anything more expensive and stressful.
We are going to negotiations end of October and if we can't reach an agreement we will be going to court.
So incredibly frustrating, litigation is the never ending story.....

I’m very specific on the kits I do, so I always get the Artist’s Loft paint by number from Michaels! I’m not very artsy, so to have a canvas already lined for me is perfect. Highly recommend! ❤

Hi Tati, I’ve been a subscriber of yours for a few years and have watched you go through all the ups and downs of person stories that you have been willing to share. And this video just really hit a cord for me. What you’re describing is almost exactly what happened to my brother and his wife. Long story short they went into business with a long time good friend and before the business even opened they had a huge falling out and the other party did some shady things and eventually sued my brother, criminally and also civilly. It has been going on for over a year and finally the criminal case against my brother was dropped. And what a relief and vindication he felt when it did! But I have been watching him and his family go through this whole ordeal and have witness how debilitating, anxiety driven, stressful, and worst of all hurt by a person they thought were their friend. He’s still dealing with it because there’s been more than one lawsuit. But no matter what happens at the end I know this will always haunt him because he lost a friend in the process. I wish you the best outcome in this and hope you could move on and have peace when this is all over. Sending prayers and love your way!

Tati, just came on here to tell you how much EMDR therapy has helped me with anxiety. DUring stressful moments I take a second to practice what i learned during EMDR and it helps a lot--the technique is called Tapping and grounding. Highly recommend it. Good luck and praying for you. The Lord will defend you.

This is called Litigation Abuse at this point I would try filing some kind of restraining order or try to figure out how to tell the courts about how your being abused through litigation !

I have been waiting 4 years to get both my hips replaced,,I have had one done but waiting on the right side.what worries me is how much longer do I have to wait my life has been on hold for 4 years as I can not walk,I have put on loads of weight like 6 stone my life is a living hell. I've been there. It's not a picnic. I'm not religious, but I am spiritual. I meditated and journaled daily. I found that writing 10 things I'm grateful for every day made me realize that no matter what, there are always people who are in worse situations. Some days, I was grateful that the day was over but I did write consistently and I swear it helped. I'm sending positive thoughts your way.

With traumatic court dates unfortunately I have a lot of experience. And I’ll say that what got me through was constant worship music and fasting. Fasting just brings alignment with Gods voice and so much peace into our lives. Praying for you, Tati!

Ok so I am rewatching the second half of this because the spa music when you were doing your brows put me to sleep in THE BEST way. I got such a good night sleep last night and I swear it was from falling asleep to your video with the spa music hahaha
i totally understand, though it was a different reason but i was stuck for 5 years just battling to court related to my late husbands wrongful death and covid pushed it 2 years as well, just living with anxiety for 5 years was not fun and i could not grieve properly, it was like swimming in the ocean with brick tied to both your feet and just struggling to keep my head above water. On the positive note, after i got through it i feel like i have been the strongest person i have ever been, emotionally and mentally... so I hope you get through it.

To relax when I’m stressed I go for a run, spend time in nature, a lot of self care, get a pedicure or window shop… I need to spend time by myself doing things I love and just be in the moment ❤
I would look into somatic experiencing in therapy! It’s a method focused on the body and how trauma gets trapped in it.

I have bought coloring books and a big travel set of markers and when I get anxious I color. It required me to focus and helps a lot. It’s also creative and offers some instant gratification.

When I'm super stressed out, I go to the Korean Spa for the day. Relaxing in the tubs and getting a scrub is so satisfying. Especially if you can go with a couple of friends. ☺ They have them in Dallas, and I've heard the King's spa is good from my friends up there. I'm so happy you are getting some closure. I hope that person has time to reflect and realize how wrong he/she has been and that they decide "no more". Lots of love to you, Tati! 🥰💙

when i’m super stressed about something i like to do self care. take a bath, use a face mask and bath bombs.. watch a show maybe some wine.. this is a new ritual for me because otherwise i will just spiral in my thoughts so i turn it into something that is calming and relaxing.
