They discontinued nearly natural 😭 I wanted to get it but it’s gone! They had a bundle of the singles after the palette was gone but I waited too long to order and I’m so sad! Definitely the palette I regret not buying this year. But I love your other recs and so excited about the neutral videos! I’ve been so into colorful palettes but I definitely need a more updated neutrals collection so I’d love to get some more. I really like the New Neutrals Remixed from Gloss Gods, the one neutral palette I’ve bought since discovering indie makeup 😂 thank you for this Amy! You’re the best ❤❤❤

@@AmyLovesMakeupI know right, me too! Faerie Skye on YT/IG said it in one of their videos and I was like NOOOO I couldn’t get it at the time so I was super sad! I hope they bring it back because WHY would they discontinue such a stunning beloved, staple neutral palette!!!
You can still find it on selling apps. I was stupid and sold mine so I bought another one off someone else lol
I was late to the party and built my own.
Last I checked around November sales the brand had the singles for sale
Also I love that you included menagerie. Latelly nobody talks about them
I haven’t tried their more recent releases but I figured they were a good brand since I do have quite a collection of their palettes ☺️

That Nearly Natural palette from Glaminatrix has been on my Wish List for a while. I've been super curious about Blend Bunny too, they do deep but vibrant mattes really well. I just don't need anymore eyeshadow in my life right now, I don't even wear makeup everyday & it takes me forever to even use up concealer or lip gloss lol. I'm not 100% a neutrals person but when I wear color it is in a subtle or subdued way so as far as pastels go, it would be shimmers that would interest me not mattes. There were a lot of beautiful palettes released this year, Not buying was truly difficult 😊
I totally know what u mean about melt their mattes are where they shine Your make up is beautiful here thanks for the great options i basically watch what everyone loves or hates and buy based on my likes within that framework and im never really ever disappointed! If i am its formulawl wise not compatible with my skin❤😊

I was thinking the same thing exactly.
I didn’t mention them because for BBB I only have three palettes and Ensley Reigh I haven’t even tried. I ordered a palette but it’s not here yet. The whole point was to share the top recommendations of brands I have a lot of experience with ☺️
I want some neutral shadows from an indie brand and I would literally love a video on that. Nearly Neutral isn’t in stock so I was thinking maybe minka from adept?
Minka is very intense and beautifully, maybe a little less of the romantic vibes of nearly natural but still a great one
Minka is pretty I own it but imo most of the shadows are more like thick glitters..not chunky tho..Its sparkly and intense! There's like 3 formulas in the pallet..the 2 mattes are weak imo and the multichromes are smoother but the shifts are weak too..I love the glittery shades for special occasions but there's much better options out there for every day..
I recently swatched all my palettes and was surprised to find that Ghost Town from Nomad has very similar shades to Glaminatrix Nearly Nude... I still prefer Glaminatrix but that's mostly because I am not a huge of fan of the cool teal blue shades❤

Bellabeautebar sun and the sea palette is one of my absolute favorites and it has a lot of neutrals with amazing multichromes. I bought the minka when it launched and barely ever use it because it’s so intense with a lot of fallout.

i'm glad to hear that shroud has now a better shimmer formula, i like their colorstories but never bought from them because the shimmers werent intense enough. I really like the dark academia colorstory so i hope to see soon some reviews and hope its as beautiful as it seems 🤩
Something is going on with Shroud. I ordered the Dark Academia palette at launch, over 4 weeks ago, and I haven't heard anything since. I've emailed multiple times, sent DMs, posted on their IG and they haven't responded once. I wouldn't buy anything from them until you can confirm they are actually shipping their items.

@@Emma-Ghanima I saw someone post on another video a similar issue but they said they heard from the brand that they are behind. I seriously thought something bad happened to them since they disappeared after announcing the launch. I ended up doing a chargeback on my credit card. I'm very disappointed because I really wanted that palette. I had also ordered an empty Moonfall palette since I owned the singles. I've bought once before from them. Yes, thr shipping was long but at least it shipped. All I have received from them now was an order confirmation. It's ridiculous.

So I reallly have Fantasy Cosmetica's Rogue palette on my wishlist. I keep going back and forth if I need the full palette or just the singles bundle of the Rogue shimmers. Lol.

It’s been discontinued unfortunately but you buy it on selling apps. They’re bringing back sugar and spice next month and it’s a great palette. Although not nearly as good as nearly natural.

Thank you for all of these great ideas! Do you have any suggestions for those of us with sensitive eyes who want to stick to eyeshadows that are approved for use around the eyes?
idk i feel like a lot of the smaller indie companies don't list this info on their website. but colourpop is one i know of that has an asterisk next to the shades in the palette description that aren't technically approved for use around the eyes and off the top of my head, i know the aurora struck palette is one of those that uses only approved shades.

Thanks! I agree and love both ColourPop and Makeupforfun. Amanda led me to Nomad as another brand with that info indicated. I think the indies Amy shared look so exciting that I wish there was an easy way to get that info for all of them
Nobody should be recommending anything from Shroud right now considering the owner just disappeared off of the face of the earth and hasn’t fulfilled any orders for months now. 🙄
does anyone know if blend bunny palette pans are removable? i'm tempted by sickly sweet but the order of the colors is making my eye twitch

What indie brand would you recommend that’s more affordable?? I’d love to try more indie makeup, but can’t spend $50+ on a pallet
I would recommend Blend Bunny or Cosmic Brushes with an affiliate code and or a sale really good pricing for what you get. I just did a whole videos swatching every cosmic brushes palette ☺️

The palettes you chose are beautiful but maybe you should have chosen palettes that are still available. Wasn't that the point of the video? You can't get the Glaminatrix palette or the Oden's Eye palette.
I did not realize that the Glaminatrix palette was discontinued nor that Oden’s Eye had already sold out. You’re completely right and if I could do the video over again I would. It’s been crazy posting a video every single day for indiemas and I should have done more research 😞
