There will absolutely not be another band like Pink Floyd. This was a planetary alighnment for this once in forever band to come together. All the little details addressed with this group of professional masters of timeless music.
Kamu tau kalau saya mendengar Pink floyd dari umur 18 th saat jaman masih kaset hehe,..sekarang umur saya sudah 50 th semakin tua semakin lebih berarti liriknya,.. semangat terus untuk bikin reaction Pink floyd and Thx
Sid Barrett was the Original lead singer and a cofounder of Pink Floyd after bouts with drugs and mental illness with Sid, David Gilmore became Pink Floyds lead singer..
Aww bless ya, 🥰 yes you get them..I've been listening to Floyd for 50 years now 😳 yes, I'm THAT old 🤣 but I've never heard any other band come even close to the mastery of these guys...❤ 'surprised the volcano didn't erupt'? 🤣🤣🤣
This track was famous for incorporating the singing of humpback whales. It is easy to forget that this was relatively new at the time since this song had first been recorded as recently as 1956.
Hello elok again no. 2. Sorry forgot to say for you to check out pink Floyd's no. 1 film called another brick in the wall. The song has kids singing we don't need no education we don't need no thought control. Cheers from London josh.
Echoes is definitely one of the best song in the whole universe. The Spacey Atmosphere, the Vocals, the Lyrics, the Arrangements, the Production, the Skills! Gilmour's guitar, Richard's keyboard, and Their vocal harmonies just takes you to another dimension. Roger Waters the poetic lyrical genius and that funky bass. And Nick Mason's best drumming performance ever. Kata-katamu "Gods plays for the Gods" gila itu kalimatnya keren banget, mungkin itu kalimat terbaik untuk mendeskripsikan Pink Floyd. Anyway, love your reaction kak. You earn a new subscriber. Gonna watch more of your videos!
Hi Elok!!...just wanted to tell you that you reacted awesomely to this classic epic song!!...your critique was amazing!!...you keep getting better and better with each reaction and I'm now a huge fan of your introductions and critiques at the end of each video!!...keep up the great work!!...🌷
Great reaction! - I love your way with words, unique thoughts and your delight in the song - adorable! I love David Gilmour and PF too & this is also definitely one of my all time favourite songs 😆
Fantastic review, from New Zealand. Probably the best review of Pink Floyd song I have ever seen on RUclips. Every week for the last couple of years I watch about 2 hours of reactions to Pink Floyd, and pretty much nobody else. I enjoy seeing people marvel at PF's skill and artistry. You certainly have given them the honor they deserve. PS I went to Indonesia back in 94, Jakarta and Kalimantan. I found Kalimantan very interesting.
Loved your approach to this. You did some homework first, then you settled back and actually took it all in without repeated interruptions like some do. I really enjoyed watching the expressions on your face as you took it in. You GET it, girl. My day is better now because of you -- and Pink Floyd.
!I started to listen to Pink Floyd when i was 86, and now I am 16.." you don't know how much tat made me laugh! such a great reaction, and great appreciation of a masterpiece
OMG. Elok are you for real....you are simply amazing and so wise beyond your years. So many RUclipsrs who react to music can't put together two coherent sentences about what they just heard. You obviously take your time to digest what you just heard and elegantly state your opinion. Which I agree with completely . Your comments about Pink Floyd and how they compare to some of the rock legends is so spot on and usually only come from those who have listen to music for years. Bravo
Thank you for this reaction. I was fortunate to see them do this live in Pittsburgh in 1973. I was 6 rows from the stage right in front of David Gilmore. This is one of the best concerts I have ever seen, certainly the most memorable. This group is truly amazing. Thanks again for bringing this song to light , a true masterpiece.
Echoes Pts 1 & II comprise Pink Floyd's first masterpiece and the Pompeii performance is one of the best versions recorded. Please consider listening to Echoes Part II.
hello elok hsu. haven´t heard this in a long time, although their meddle album is superawesome too. echoes is considered as one of their milestones. I always found this song very beautiful but spooky too. (quick edit: gilmours famous stratocaster sounds here sometimes like godzilla.) amazing. thank you for all your efforts and be well and safe, elok hsu.
Echoes, Dogs and Shine On You Crazy Diamond are 3 epic masterpieces that no band on earth could ever match up to. Musically and lyrically so emotive and poignant.
Great reaction, I’ve been a fan of PF since the 70’s & was lucky to attend their concert in the 80’s, their music is timeless & it’s fantastic today’s generation are discovering this band
Awesome job! I recommend you give part 2 a listen as well. You'd probably enjoy Shine On You Crazy Diamond parts I - IX if you haven't checked it out yet. Any of the 70's Floyd albums are fantastic experiences...
If I had to choose oe song that epitomises Pink Floyd. then this is it If you listen to it on the original studio album you need headphones and it will take you to a place you could only dream of ! Its spacey man 👍Rick Wright keyboard genius ! RIP!💕
Yes, she's got the 'Floyd out! 🤘 You are correct that this is the sort of song that should be played at high volume through a high-end sound system, so you can immerse yourself in the music and be swept away by it. If you thought this was great, check out their blockbuster album "Dark Side of the Moon", which is a masterpiece. Cuts like "Time", "Money", and "The Great Gig in the Sky" (with a spine-tingling vocal cadenza by Clare Torry) are well worth your time. Cool reaction video Elok! 👍🤘

@@ba-gg6jo Wow, that’s so cool that you got to see both the band with Waters in it and the post-Waters outfit! I got the Earls Court concert on DVD when it came out as “Pulse” and was mightily impressed with both the band’s performance and the whole spectacle, so I can well believe it was a magical experience being there! Perhaps Elok might one day react to the performance of “Run Like Hell” from that gig.🤞🏻🙏🏻

This is from the Pink Floyd movie. There is also a saucer full of secrets from Pompeii where after a drum solo Gilmore sitting Indian style makes some freakish sounds and Rick starts the end of song with 10 seconds of haunting keyboards. It gives you chills. Echoes album I listened to for first time with lights out and when I heard the birds I was afraid to get up to turn it off 😂
Yes, agree with volcano analogy, what lyrics, nice job, thnx, & switching the split screen size on live performances will improve viewer experience, imo. . . :>)
Usually I would say don't listen to (or watch) Pink Floyd songs by themselves because each album was designed to experience in toto instead of piecemeal. This video, however, was a pretty fulfilling experience by itself. At least I sure did enjoy it! Good choice! Thank you 👍
I love your wrap ups - you put together the best over-the-top descriptions 😂 but you keep them fresh, fun and unique. Perhaps Pink Floyd actually were demi-gods 🤔.
