What's your preferred way to edit?
personally never tried AI editing but ill give it a shot!
It's an awesome feature. But does it work just in the mobile app? Or does it work on the desktop app also?
(I'm asking cause for some reason since a few days ago the AI restarts my insta360 app on mobile, so I can't "edit" a video, and on the desktop version I could not find the IA option).
Edit: I fixed it by updating through the website.

We mostly use the studio for 360 editing...
How to change the music in AI editing
Great feature! It allows for quick creation of a clip and you can still further edit it before saving onto your phone (after selecting 'Export', choose 'create story'. It will be even better if we can select more than one files to do the AI mode.
My X3 just came in the mail yesterday. Thanks for your easy start up videos. As a raw beginner, this noobie appreciates it. Cannot wait to get out on a hike or motorcycle ride, and start creating.
Nonsense. The guy just rides his motorcycle and returns to say he loves the camera,, but having done nothing with the processing yet..? Error in logical sequence my friends...

Are you able to change the music that the AI has on the compilation video? I can't seem to find that option anywhere.
EDIT: Found it, hit export and select create story.
I've been having a ton of fun with the AI editing! My question...can you somehow dictate to the AI how long you want the video to be? I'm thinking for YT shorts.

Nice video! Which clamp are you using? I have the ram mounts tough clay clamp and have a problem with the wind pushing the stick around the ball. Maybe I am riding to fast?

Is it safe to use the invisible selfie stick that comes in the X3 bundle with bag and extra battery mounted like in this video?
(Or does it risk breaking/coming loose in the thread connection to the clamp)
- Simply, does Insta360 advise against using the selfie stick as an extension on Motorcycle or not?
Reason I'm asking is that I've seen a couple of horrific examples of the stick breaking of the mount in the bottom.
I don;t see Auto option on my video files for editing. Should I install an extra application for that?

Yeah! You can create a video with multiple footage by selection 'Stories', and then the 'Auto Edit' option. You can then select the videos you want to include and in what order

Is x3 writing files to SD card better than x2? Severe issues there and when you are motorcycling yo don’t realize that nothing is written at the end.
Had the X3 for a week and did about 3 hours worth of recording during different rides and angles. So far, no issues whatsoever. Using GPS tracking too with phone.

The AI editing is fun for short clips only like 5-6 min of recording.. for longer recording like 29 min, it took multiple attempts and 4 hours in final attempt to complete the edit.. which created vdo of only 1 min .. 1 min of final vdo from 29 min of recording and took 4 hours to edit !! Mobile was literally on fire !!
same..i have a video of 20min and got an error message "video too long". I still don't understand why the android version has more functions than the PC version. I have a real powerfull PC..but no..the good functions are only working with my android phone.
I tried an android emulator..but without success.

Hi there, you can import the video under the Media tab of Insta360 Studio, right-click, and choose "Start Auto Frame", which is similar to the AI editing of the App, and will reframe the video based on an automatic analysis of the highlight moments in the video.

Hello there, you can import the video under the Media tab of Insta360 Studio, right-click, and choose "Start Auto Frame". This function is similar to the AI editing of the app, and will automatically analyze the highlight clips of the video. Hope that helps. :)

I try it already. A.I. is good when we do not have time to reframe and it has serval features in A.I.

Crazy annoying. You can't mute it. Export it with the music and mute it in the gallery app on your android phone

If you export to story you get the regular editor and can change things
@@Auric-BraiNerd No, you can't add back in the original sound after you let the app make a compilation. Especially after you export it. The original sound is deleted by the app when it makes compilations, from what I can see.

I love these videos however I find you are speaking far too fast and above all there was no information on which video editor was being used. It appeared to be on a phone. I am interested in editing videos on a computer. Sorry I am of the older generation so that's why.
