I am also researching the watercolor paint and it makes me so happy when I work with it. The colors are so beautiful and intense, I love that. I also really like glitter and I work with FineTec pearlescent colors over the watercolor paint, this really gives a beautiful effect. The way you make the drawing is great, so nice and loose, I am still much too precise I see. I will definitely try it. Have fun and thanks!🙏❤
I love watercolor and use it most of all. I have a Daniel Smith Luminescent watercolor tube in gold that's super good. I'm not sure if there are other luminescent colors in that brand, but sometimes I mix some of it with a color on my pallete for a little extra sparkle or put a light layer of gold over the top. Have fun at your class!
The best sparkly paints are cheap temu metallic paints, some even change colours as you move them. I wish I could post you a video of one of my paintings using them. No good if you want to sell them though. You do need to let metallic activate for a minute or two after wetting them.
@@KristaIreneArt I’m sure you could get them from any cheap place that sells art supplies if you’re not comfortable buying from Temu, just not from an actual art supply store. You can see the shine and glitter effect even in photos which says a lot. 🤣 There’s no brand on mine but there’s 20 very sparkly colours
Hi! I am so glad to see you playing with watercolors!! That is my main medium, and what is so funny is today. I actually used acrylic brush markers for the first time! Lol I will probably upload that video in a couple of days :-) I am also taking a watercolor class this month, and it starts tomorrow :-) we are doing autumn leaves as our subject and it’s every Monday for the month of November… Can’t wait to see what you do in the class! There are lots of good metallic paints out there, but I have found iridescent to just be kind of like pearlescent and not super shimmery… Kind of like the difference between satin and sequins :-)✨
Great video Krista - I don't have any myself but I understand that "Skrim Watercolours" are really sparkly and very good quality. Thanks for sharing.😻
I will check them out! Thank you ❤️
Enjoy your watercolour class. Looking forward to more!
Thank you so much! 🤗
They turned out really well. I can't wait for your video from your watercolour class
Thank you ! ✨✨✨

I will add them in my next watercolor video. Thank you! ✨🤗

P.S. And I love a nice fat quill brush with a tip...much like your new brushes, but bigger. They hold lots of water and pigment.
I have heard those are great Watercolors. I will have to try those! Thank you 🤗
Yes!! I have seen those! ❤️❤️❤️ I am going to have to get one at some point.
I use watercolur the most and I am excited to see what you will share with us! I have been using the same Mei Lang paint too.
I just love that watercolor! Glad I am not the only one! Thank you ✨🤗

I haven't bought anything from Temu yet but I may have to in my quest for the sparkliest watercolor! Thank you 🤗
