Loved this movie. It was all positively working out for the Protagonist. The writers didnt try to be realistic aka cynical about her love life and career. It is rare to see movies written like this.

When I’m introducing people to RPGs for the first time, I use a very simple d6 index card system that I wrote. The only things on the card are Character Name:___ Skill:___+3 Skill:___+2 Skill:___+1 Character creation takes 5 minutes or less since the players just have to decide what kinds of things they want their characters to be good at and label those on the fly. For example, if somebody says they want to play a pirate, you have them write in sailing and swashbuckling as skills. It’s fast to play, simple to explain, and lets me boil down ttrpgs to the core gameplay of collaboratively solving problems and rolling dice for uncertainty.
