Just FYI, don’t mix cables, the cable pin outs are different depending on the supplier/model. The end that plugs into the gpu have the same pin outs regardless of brand, however, the end that plugs into the PSU are different more often than not
Hi. If you are still using this PSU, could you please check what kind of voltage drop happens on partial\full load, GPU Rail and GPU PCI-e 12V input (HWInfo or anything else). I have a 750w version and it works well, but there is some noticeable drop on PCI-e 12V line, goes down to ~11.340v under full load (not supposed to go lower then 11.4v according to specs), GPU Rail voltage seems holding ok (~11.6v under load), and I can't remember measuring voltages when PSU was new (about 2 years ago) so I can't compare. My GPU is always undervolted so it's fine as it is (usually 12V rail\pcie holds at 12v-11.7v under load), but under full load it does not look good. And I do remember running 2 GPU's at max power(3070+RX480) when PSU was new, and it was holding fine, not sure I can do that now with these voltage drop on just 3070 full load. P.S. - False Alarm, measuring PCI-e rail manually using multimeter showed huge discrepancy in readings, basically PCI-e voltage barely drops lower than 11.87-11.9v even om max OC when hwinfo shows something around 11.3v and holds around 12V when hwinfo shows ~11.6-11.7V Hwinfo 8pin plug measurement is closer to real voltage, still a bit lower by about 0.1-0.2v. So basically all voltage is well within specs, but hwinfo shows some alarming garbage.
Hey Poor Investor, Thank you for creating these videos much appreciated. I just wanted to let you know that the ethical hacking videos you do are very interesting. I would love to see more. You actually inspired me to create a Chia Evergreen miner. I repurposed my helium miner and installed kali linux on it, along witht the external drives. and i also able to do pentesting at the same time.
what psu wattage would you recommend for a system that has an rx 7900 xtx liquid devil, 7 corsair ML140 fans, 4 corsair ML120 fans, gigabyte x570 elite wifi mb, ryzen 9 5950x cpu, 2 - 2tb NVME w/ plan to add 3 more SSD (non nvme) internal drives, 128gb ddr 4 3600, ekwb monoblock, 2 corsair XD5 pumps and 2 corsair commander pro all thrown into a corsair iCUE 7000x case.
Given the components and potential power draw, I would recommend a 1000W PSU. This would give you ample headroom and also allow for potential future upgrades. If you plan on overclocking heavily, you might even consider going a bit higher. Always choose a reputable brand with good reviews and preferably one that's 80 PLUS Gold certified or better for efficiency and reliability.
Hey brother, can you tell me if that psu failed or if it ruined your gpu? I just bought it for the Rtx gigabyte aorus 4090 and i seriously don’t want to destroy this card it was too damn expensive lol. I’m really unsure of testing it yet. There’s literally zero reviews with this combo and less reviews about this psu
It’s still running strong. Has not failed since I’ve owned it. I’m still running my 3090 ti with it and mining kaspa occasionally. Hope that gives you some reassurance on the psu
just got the same PSU and just my luck it doesn't work

that is awesome to hear! what you're doing is the real way to keep on learning by experimenting!
Not going so well for me;computer shuts off every time I try to log into windows. Something I’m doing or did I get a bad pay?
Anyone know how many LEDs are inside this PSU?
just wondering @3:45 was that the aura sync cable for the rgb fan?
Does this work with pcie 4.0

Wondering if you have any videos on Chia plot format 2.0 and GPU plotting?
Got one of these from Amazon and the side stickers are on upside down.
One side is upside down as the other sticker is right side up, but it also depends on which way you mount your power supply in your case.
Merry Xmas brother! Maybe this year you can come visit me at my side of the border with the family I’ll show you what Canada is all about!
Why are these PSU on the tier F-list?
I have gamemax 800w brone 80 ,+ can run RX 6800xt withaout problems ? Please
I use this to run 3090ti and have used it to occasionally mine kaspa. No issues
Do you still recommend this PSU ?
For the rgb and considering how long I’ve had it without issues. I would buy again
I have this psu for 4 years and it’s still going. Only thing that sucks is that the rgb don’t work anymore but the power supply is still kicking ass
