    FYI:
    The abs sensor wire belongs routed behind the strut, not in front as you'll see in the first 40 seconds of this video. Pay attention to that.
    My son-in-law and I just replaced the front sway bar links and front struts on a 2007 Nissan Maxima 3.5L and the abs sensor lines were routed behind the struts.
    Watching this video, it struck me that the abs sensor wire was in front of the strut. Whoever previously worked in that area made a mistake.
    If you leave that abs sensor line in front of the strut, as you drive, there's the risk that tire may rub against the abs sensor line and damage it.
    All in all, very helpful video; the video was clear and concise!

    What brand of shock/strut assembly did you install? Also how was your ride quality after the install? Was it factory ride?

    • @BIGWILLSCARCARE

      @robbieyh KYB excel G. Ride quality was pretty much the same as original. Thanks for watching please Like and Subscribe if you haven't already

      @@BIGWILLSCARCARE I just ordered Gabriel ready mounts ! I wanted to ask if you have any experience with these loaded struts assemblies? I was looking for the factory ride. I hope this works out..

    • @BIGWILLSCARCARE
      @BIGWILLSCARCARE  2 года назад +2

      @robbieyh Gabriel's are good also. Loaded strut assemblies usually make the vehicle sits a little higher and ride a little softer

      @@BIGWILLSCARCARE You could have said that in the video. Otherwise good. I suggest a lesson on spring compressors. A lot of good-quality struts don't come with the spring.
