FYI:
The abs sensor wire belongs routed behind the strut, not in front as you'll see in the first 40 seconds of this video. Pay attention to that.
My son-in-law and I just replaced the front sway bar links and front struts on a 2007 Nissan Maxima 3.5L and the abs sensor lines were routed behind the struts.
Watching this video, it struck me that the abs sensor wire was in front of the strut. Whoever previously worked in that area made a mistake.
If you leave that abs sensor line in front of the strut, as you drive, there's the risk that tire may rub against the abs sensor line and damage it.
All in all, very helpful video; the video was clear and concise!

Great job my man. Followed your instructions and changed them both. Now, bow would i know if installed them correctly? Already drove 100 miles and i usually cruise between 80 and 100mph lol
@Maniac Slap if you have no vibration, knocking or anything loose you most likely installed them correctly. Thanks for watching please Like and Subscribe if you haven't already
@@BIGWILLSCARCARE i still have vibration BUT my rear shocks and coils need to be replaced too along with rear brake pads lol. But no weird noises or anything. Thanks for the reply btw liked and subbed. Keep doing ya thang!!

I will. Always great to hear fellow West Indians!
What brand of shock/strut assembly did you install? Also how was your ride quality after the install? Was it factory ride?
@robbieyh KYB excel G. Ride quality was pretty much the same as original. Thanks for watching please Like and Subscribe if you haven't already
@@BIGWILLSCARCARE I just ordered Gabriel ready mounts ! I wanted to ask if you have any experience with these loaded struts assemblies? I was looking for the factory ride. I hope this works out..
@robbieyh Gabriel's are good also. Loaded strut assemblies usually make the vehicle sits a little higher and ride a little softer
Great job!

Lets say i gave it to a mechanic to do how much would they charge like a estimate
@Lil Draco depends on where you are but somewhere around 600 to 700
Except you didn’t give the torque specs for any of the bolts 🙈🙈🙈
@AOCLIVE The torque specs are usually online . Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already
Never saw a torque wrench.
@Charles Hess in my video? I try to focus more on the important tasks at hand. But I do used one off camera. Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already
@@BIGWILLSCARCARE You could have said that in the video. Otherwise good. I suggest a lesson on spring compressors. A lot of good-quality struts don't come with the spring.
