    Hey! Great video! I take my PANCE in October. Lowkey nervous but this video makes me feel a little bit better lol.
    Question, maybe I missed this but how many weeks/months did you study for the PANCE before taking it?

    How many questions correct do you think would be considered green light on the exams on the book?

    • @dollfacepa
      @dollfacepa  2 года назад

      hmm, that would be hard to say. I would generally say to go more with how comfortable you feel with the content and topics that are being asked in the question. Don't allow missing questions to discourage you or make you feel like you aren't ready. Instead, try to see if you are noticing any patterns (consistently missing questions related to the same topic) and focus your study efforts there.

    Thank you for this video. Really helpful.
    I have a few questions still.
    1. If one has completed medicine in their country can they pass the PANCE with their diploma or should they go to a PA school? If so are there PA schools which reduce the time spent at school for international graduated physicians ?
    2. No QBank or UWorld needed for the PANCE?

    • @dollfacepa
      @dollfacepa  2 года назад +1

      Hello! To my knowledge, you must still complete a PA program regardless of holding a medical degree in another country. Unfortunately, I am not aware of any programs that offer abbreviated PA programs for internationally graduated physicians. It is my understanding that you still must complete the standard PA program in order to become a licensed PA. I used the Kaplan qbank sporadically during my studying for the PANCE. It was gifted to my class by our program director. Because of this, I am not sure of the exact cost but my primary method for studying for PANCE was the one described in this video. Though many of my classmates did find the Kaplan question bank helpful. Hope this helps :)

    Can we give pance exam during opt process? How much time to take for preparation tor exam? Is it a hard exam? Can we compete in first trail?

    • @dollfacepa
      @dollfacepa  2 года назад

      hi amisha! what exactly do you mean by "during opt process"? want to make sure i'm answering your question to the best of my ability :) I studied hardcore for about 6 weeks prior to taking the exam. it is more than doable to pass on the first go round with adequate preparation.

      @@dollfacepa first thank you so much for answer. I m from India n this year m coming to usa with the physician assistant course. After completing Master then we have to turn our student visa into work visa n usa government gives Only one year work visa. So my question is that during work visa processing can I give PANCE exam or I have to complete exam before applying work visa process.
      Also I want to ask another question about scholarship. Can i get fully funded scholarship from the India. My university is Central Michigan University.
      Thank you!

      hi! I would ask your program director, they had alot of courses that they recommended for us. I don't know any off the top of my head. And I'd be happy to send you the notes out of the pink binder. I'd have to first locate them, which shouldn't be an issue but I'm happy to help however I can.
