    I agree! I'm almost done with Didactic year and this general method is great. I do this with my learning objectives my professors include at the beginning of the lecture and also create quizlets which is essentially the same as this but virtual! Great video :)

      hi, if you dont mind, which program are you currently attending, and which has been the most difficult class and semester so far.

      @@hvasq8128 Wake Forest! & Definitely pharmacology. Didactic year is challenging start to finish, but I think we just become better equipped and more accustomed to it as the year progresses. 😇

    Hi there! Future PA student starting Winter/Spring 2025. I found this video to be very helpful so thank you very much. I’ve been watching a lot of videos on how to study in PA school to prepare myself for what’s to come. Can you give some insight on the way questions are formatted and how the study technique you provided aids with the question types given during didactic? Thank you in advance!!

    These tips are so helpful. My concern is that study techniques work for passing a test but lack in the area of long-term retention. In other words, I want to make sure I still know this information 4 months down the line or for the board exam. Was your technique consistent with retention for you?

    • @dollfacepa
      @dollfacepa  2 года назад +2

      Yes it actually was! You will be amazed at how much you actually do recall when you're repeatedly going through the material. Trust me, you will be okay. I used to have these same concerns but this technique proved effective for not only getting through the program but taking the pance as well

    One thing I notice 90% of my class has is iPads
    Did you use one ? I’ve been printing stuff and it’s week two and I already have a binder full

      I did not use an ipad but some of the people in my class did. I primarily just took notes on a word document on my laptop.

    Did you use this technique for all your classes? I’m struggling with physiology and am trying to find other ways to study for it. Thank you for the video ❤

      Hi! I honestly didn't consistently start using this method until second semester which was after anatomy & physiology. I, too, realllly struggled in A&P and can't say there was one particular method that I ever decided worked better than the others. I used a variety of study methods for every test. Is there one particular area you find yourself struggling in more than others (lab vs lecture)?

    • @HeyitsDianuh
      @HeyitsDianuh Год назад

      @@dollfacepa Thank you for replying. I am having a hard time with lecture material. The lab portion is fine. I am just finding myself feeling so overwhelmed and constantly feeling like I am not going to make it.

    • @dollfacepa
      @dollfacepa  Год назад

      @@HeyitsDianuh I would try this method for the lecture material and see how it works for you. Hopefully this method or some variation of it will help you with retaining the info. Hang in there. You can do it. ❤

    Hey Bri, do you think one actually needs an iPad for best results in PA school?

    • @dollfacepa
      @dollfacepa  2 года назад +2

      hey! absolutely not "necessary" for success in PA school, as i did not have one. its all about preference, if you prefer to study/read/take notes on an ipad then it would probably be useful. but personally, i preferred working on my laptop
