HOW TO MAKE THAI STEAK SALAD | NAM TOK NEUA | น้ำตกเนื้อ

- Опубликовано: 5 авг 2024
- Nam Tok Neua น้ำตกเนื้อ is a vibrant beef salad, similar to Laab, but uses full strips of meat. It's sour, spicy, nutty, savory, refreshing and goes so well with steamed sticky rice. Nam Tok means waterfall and Neua means beef. The waterfall refers to the flavorful juices extracted from the meat during a part of the cooking process and added to the liquid of the dressing, which is the "waterfall" which coats the meat in this salad.

What are you favorite things to do on snowy days?
Mom and i save a bag of snow in the freezer. Sometimes we get very nice visitors who have never seen or touched it. The reactions are always cute 😋
@@IchyJo How nice! I never thought of doing that. Thank you for sharing that. Enjoy your weekend.
We so rarely get snow here on the far west coast of Canada. But when we do we have to move fast to go sledding. Then come home to Mexican style hot chocolate. Abuelita's hot chocolate has much more flavour than carnation hot coco and it reminds me so much of coming home from sledding as a kid and asking my mom to make it "her way". Usually the snow is a brown mess by the end of the day but this year it stuck around for almost a week! It's gone now... but the rest of the province is till getting loads of snow. You can buy Mexican hot chocolate at Mexican import stores. It comes in a stack of pucks. One puck mixed with a litre of hot milk then whipped into a froth. Sprinkle cinnamon and a little cayan powder, if u like. Your videos are such a relief. I'm not sure what it is exactly that is so captivating. But even my 5 and 2 year old suns come running over to watch when they here your voice. Thank you for the oasis of calm in an otherwise hectic time in our lives.
@@mysterious-benefactor Thank you so much for sharing this. I imagined everything you wrote and it was beautiful. This winter season will soon be fleeting so I will also try to cherish it as much as possible. It's amazing how certain scenery, food, smells can bring us back to those warm memories. Mexican style hot chocolate sounds delicious this snowy season, especially with cayenne pepper. That's a nice touch! I'm happy that these videos can provide a sense of calm for you and your family. Have a nice weekend!
sounds like "Ack Värmland du sköna". Always a pleasure.
Another great video. 600 views is criminal, even for just under two weeks. Keep going, friend.
So glad I found your channel, I rarely subscribe to any food channel but I saw one video and I couldn’t resist but to hit those buttons lol. The calm and serene sceneries with your soothing voice and delicious meals you’re an inspiration to Thai cooking! I live in a similar demographic setting as yours so needless to say I’ll cooking your dishes more often now as I’m a visual learner as well. Please keep more of these videos coming as it gives us a sense of tranquility after a busy hectic day.

One of my favorite dishes

Although I dislike the cold weather, but there's something about snow that makes the atmosphere looks like a magical wonderland as long as I don't have to shovel it. Love the recipe, so appropriate for this weather. 😋
I agree, I enjoy the snowy scenery but I don't like shoveling it 😁 Thank you for watching!
Love ❤️ all of your videos
Thank you very much for your support !
This is my favorite dish to make in the summer. I eat more soups and stews in the winter. Now I want to make this for Sunday❗️👍🏽
Me too! I usually like to make hot foods when it's too cold outside. Sometimes I like to make super spicy and vibrant foods like this to balance the cold and gloomy outside 😁 have a good weekend!
Yum looks so yummy esp with the rice!
One of my favorites with sticky rice!
Making this today. Thanks brother
I hope you enjoy it!
@@ThunThunChannel I love it. So much easier than I thought. I just so happened to have had picanha cuts, decent fat cap. Keep up the great work man! Will continue to support your channel.
@@mangostickyrye I'm happy you enjoyed it. Thank you so much!
The dish looks delicious! The ingredients are simple enough for me to follow, I will definitely try making it for dinner tomorrow. It doesn't snow where I'm at, but cold enough for a nice bowl of clam chowder with toasted bread :)
Thank you! I hope you enjoy it. Clam chowder with toasted bread sounds delicious, especially in the cold weather here. Have a good weekend.

Off heat add the aromatics to the beef and add chilli powder and toasted rice powder

This looks so good. Does skirt steak work for this recipe?
Hi Hannah! Yes you can use any cut. Just as long as it isn't overcooked because it will become too chewy.
Also, could this recipe go well on a bed of fresh chopped romaine lettuce? Have a great weekend.
Absolutely! That's how some people serve it. I sometimes make lettuce wraps and skip the rice. You can adjust the flavors to your liking. Have a great weekend too! Thank you 😊
