Hi, I don't have the special tool to extract the old part. What would you think if I support the hub properly and hit the old part down gently with a piece of hardwood and hammer ? Thanks!
It is possible to free the ball joint by hitting the outside of the hub with a hammer. Naturally, buying a ball-joint splitter would be the best option. They aren't too expensive, here is a good one for little money! It is certainly less cash that you would pay a mechanic to do it for you! rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fitm%2FProfessional-Ball-Joint-Splitter-Separator-Scissor-Tie-Rod-End-Lifter-20-56mm-UK%2F143570801312%3F_trkparms%3Dispr%253D1%26hash%3Ditem216d7c92a0%3Ag%3AXMwAAOSw1ABdutZT%26amdata%3Denc%253AAQAFAAACgBaobrjLl8XobRIiIML1V4Imu%25252Fn%25252BzU5L90Z278x5ickk7d4nremBkvNKtcC0ZwqXDPlGmDLP%25252FFcHYL0sUoQknExnr7jddQNcR3H36i2QZ1LCs%25252B%25252Fr%25252FwOvUg7BKOaFyHo1SZ7sk%25252FSTqWvvX2BKsCjGfAFEz0tjc86J1FGCdNH7S%25252BpJc0WoLVAhEvkaMXiOaR1vb8JhBddsVYqRKV8mPDmXRMOiqJl9Hftc9WTJ0mxhEKppekUtoq7sqmZjTdZVW5n6RML9Xfu7DLX32CZGmAwL3SgIeRL8PnJbJA%25252BHJrodLrbvzZmwX8E0KxptwPxlReb66kpbe2F%25252BxolGpl4nx%25252BmXc2ERScgEiJpqfgi%25252BCe2ZVBqKih7jHSFBBdAkiILNHznamIw2h9YzFDjrFsTe4JSYaBwECWUZh0dCgElaAa5BSGcQUMFXYUFH8tQFCk%25252FMWm%25252F22%25252BFKDIT5MopDp%25252FbXeIVm05ksEufkYNk1ltMb9MuHB3g9ACH24VZj7%25252BdbWVYb%25252FWi9SzARMJwG7oGc5R3KUYfnaroKYA52AcY0u9D4GnkvL4jmSjQI%25252FknSutRw5o4cdH3aVLTFxL8f69em6cTkv9U83wZsVRD1Oevt%25252FQ3CfTdGKQ%25252FaQjNVYvDYk84jJtBuxD0Wj0gy%25252BC48rV88bupLSE4a3MmBLAgYYKULLa4wbRUwMyrWz14xvxK%25252ByRopKCszfykSjbOrXEEpHORm8rdBdgpfVuI%25252B%25252F4XTnS4NWLI0ZXolunJ5cFuf4GyYgZQ7wyLESqh3tJo6DjGWqSRWB%25252Fh5tZHP6Km1vcFRer3TXVvEoU6TotyAi8HjaN%25252F1KLOm7uYgpUeWvscCnGij0F88XO%25252FFZZ9D738%25253D%257Ccksum%253A143570801312f1225b7c968e44f5963764e3dec9444a%257Campid%253APL_CLK%257Cclp%253A2334524&campid=5338707657&toolid=10001&customid=
Great video thanks
Awesome video! I wonder if a bit of penetrating fluid would help, and some copper anti-seize when installing.
Apart from the speaking to fast its a good video thanks
Please tell how to replace the sway bar bushings.
can you please do a video on how to replace the alternator?
