Once You Beat The Game
You play it again like normal but you will notice that you still keep a lot of stuff u had from your previous playthrough.
- Your Digimon lvls remain the same
- You Keep Your Items
- Memories, Training items, Skill-equip Items, Enhance Items etc
One of the things you don't keep is your affinity progress with your characters.
- Check your profile and see your characters affinity is reseted

I got the game, started to play, and then found out: "-Wait people will die in this first run no-matter what-"
Well, they did make a horror-ish game, thumbs up for them.
What happened with Shuji made me realise AYO. THIS AINT NO KIDS GAME
Depending on the route in a first play through 2 more will die except in 1 route
you forgot to mention the most important, whatever evolution line you unlocked for all Character digimon can be used at the beginning, eg: having agumon evolve to wargreymon and overkill a lvl 1 gotsumon in the tutorial fight
Worth mentioning your builds become unequipped so if you set up Digimon a specific way and you had enough Digimon, remember how you set them up.

Renamon i got in shadow encounters in part 6. Man when my dear Fox girl.
and her units LINE originals evos was available in NG+ i was só happy. The cannon ending where everyone survives os the best
Its really odd that we dont keep over the affinity you had.. Especially when you have to go to like 50ish to have Ryo not dye....
If that was the case then everyone would be alive all the time
I got Ryo to 60 with my first time lol. I'm interested in the new game plus's new story content, if it's even that big. I just can't be bothered redoing EVERYTHING else over again that's just the same. Is it even worth the trouble :S.
Only need 35.. And Ryo only can be save in game +..

That’s good we get to keep items in new game+. Was guna wait to use my Guilmon till then but I was afraid I’d lose em and I’d have to wait for evolving it. Now I can just evolve him at normal pace.

So I got this game and beat, I found out that by getting everyone to around 70 affinity you can unlock their mega forms. Kaito and minoru weren’t at 70 for me so no Mega’s for them. I can’t wait to see kunemon and lopmon mega form.
That's pretty high man, my highest was minoru in the 50's, kaito didnt even got an ultimate in my playtrough

You also have to equip everything you had on each Digimon for ng+
Telling me I have to get 60+ affinity with my homies again?! Sheeesh aight good thing I love the game and thank God for a skip read dialogue option haha.
After we do 100% of New Game+, the affinities go back to what they were?? or is there some way to have 100% affinity with all characters??
you can get affinity with all characters, however i believe its only possible for every character to be around 70-75ish all at same time

That 1 item you didnt get in the previous playthrough, its like "snakehead.." something lol 😆 i just used that item on my 1st playthroug, im on part 11 still.
What about partners evolution, do they carry over or are they story locked on ng+?
It carries over, wherever u left it when u beat the game in new game plus it will be right there
Do you keep the digimon you recruit in free battles ? Like do they carry Over ?
I believe so yeah, whatever digimon u had when beat the game it carries over
I found out the hard way that in New game plus that if you save Ryo and Shuuji you get the same ending no matter what route you choose
Actually, that's not entirely correct.
Depending on your karma, your ending will change. Staying strictly in moral for the entirety of the story unlocks the secret route.
@@TheSadman8 I had only like 10 points in moral and harmony and I still got the route with the sovereigns

Which the one involving fanglongmon is indeed tried exclusively to strictly moral, as well as keeping everyone alive
@@TheSadman8 if you are on the True Ending path your karma doesn't affect anything except agumon's evolutions. And no, staying moral doesn't unlock the secret route, you have to be on NG+ and save everyone for that. Get your shit right.

Wrong. Omegamon is tied to moral. Fanglongmon is True ending route. doesn't have to do with your karma.
So all the digimon i befriend in my previous game, gets transferred over. Okay.
Do you know if you finish your new game plus playthrough, can you do another new game plus after that with everything carried over again?

I started new game plus today and was excited at the idea of saving Ryo and Shuji and seeing their full arcs...
Then I got to the first battle with Augumon who was still level 62 against a level 1 Gotsumon. Keeping levels and changing nothing on the enemies side is literally brain dead dumb. Who thought that was a good idea?!
If you're wondering what you have to do to save everyone, just get everyone to 30 affinity, having 30 affinity will ensure everyone's safety, also don't focus on a single path, like, don't pick only harmony, wrathful, or moral decisions, wrathful gets saki and aoi killed, harmony gets kaito and miu killed, and moral I guess gets minoru killed, so picking whatever choice feels right and the moral compass being diverse is actually good, even more so for ng+ because you'll be able to unlock all of agumon's evolutions and I think the more points you have in either moral, wrathful, and harmony, the stronger wither his vaccine, virus, and data evolutions are, I recommend getting minoru and Kaito to 70 affinity first, trust me, you won't be using anyone else, the other mons are too slow and have a much too limited movement-grid, actually if I'm being honest with you only agumon and falcomon get to do anything at all in my battles, the others don't ever get to even engage, you'll be much better off choosing those 2 and then random digimon like gallantmon, if you can, get either biyomon or patamon to their mega forms, they move fast and they move far, they're also sweepers, like literally.
I have aoi at 34, saki is at 20
Actually, labramon's mega anubismon is really good, the second fastest of my rooster behind only to valdurumon , but anubismon hits harder than valdurumon
Minoru has plot armor he doesn't die no matter what path you choose

Minoru survives in all [non bad end] routes. Moral has no additional deaths.
BUT can you still evolve into Omegamon?
So is it possible to get affinity 70 for mega evolve in ng+ if it resets?
You can still access ur previous evolutions

You earn affinities faster with some characters in ng+, and there is overall a lot more chances to increase affinity. If you make sure you always get an increase when you have the chance, you should easily get everyone over 70, even more so if you get one or two to that point in your first run, since their mega evolutions will already be available and you can ignore their affinity raising events.
Im doing the wrathful route do i have to do all 3 routes to unlock all of agumons evolutions?

I think no, since you need to complete the game to get the NG+, not giving it up...
That's annoying that the affinity gets reset. Most of the character's digimon, I never got them past champion or ultimate.
Is new game plus can happen more than once? I want to play harmony first then wrathful in ngp1 and last truthful in ngp2.
yup it can happen more than once
Why would you wanna play wrath and harmony more characters die on those routes although it does give you on certain character alternate Megas I still just see them as other “bad end routes”
Also if you want to get alternate routes on a new game+ you have to let ryo die since saving ryo locks you onto the truth route
What about the evolution tho? Like My Agumon evolved into Greymon in my current game, and if I play NG+ on other route, can he still evolves into Greymon?

Is there a way to start from the beginning again with NG+? I messed up some affinities at the start and would like to try again from the beginning. Possible?
Well yeah, u have a seperate save with ng plus
@@Kacchi90i couldnt build enough affinity with ryo to save him, and i used the same ng+ save file. still no way to start again from that same save file?

Yes. Play around the options Abit. You'll find it

Just press Right to skip or Left for auto-text. You can also increase text and battle speed.

@@stonecianomars5838 affinity doesnt matter past the required ammount to save then in all honesty and getting to evolutions. But like 91 is way past required to mega so

This game is cap . Ryo and shuuji affinity for me was 25. Which is high at that point in the story and they still die. Miu was 68 and she still died and kaito was 56 and he also died. And I didn’t even get omnimon at the end.
Edit- my three karma choice were as follow
Moral-45
Wrathful- 16
Harmony-19
And my evolutions were all over the place. For a champion I hit tyranamon , ultimate metalgreymon and mega dynorexmon . 🙃🙃 and I didn’t even get the Moral choice in chapter 9 which was to stay with agumon. So yeah.
Nah u need at least 35 bro. Around 30+ should be enough to save ryo, remember u need ryo so he can save shuuji

im finding it hard to even wanna play the game, kudos for you beating it. absolutely thrown off with this game greatly. feel stupid spending $45 on it.

you might just not be a fan of the visual novel style
which is exactly how the game was coined so it’s your own fault if you didn’t look into it further before you bought it
Dropped it too after 15 minutes. But this was my bad. Indeed i was spoiled by Cybersleuth and how incredible awesome it was.... so the new "style" threw me off hard here... but i will give it another chance sooner or later.
So you can still Digivolve your partners from the jump, right? Such a stupid choice. Apparently the enemies don’t scale either. Only NG+ I’ve ever played that rewards you with being able to curbstomp the entire story effortlessly. NG+ is supposed to be MORE DIFFICULT than the prior run. Even if you DO retain levels, items, etc.
So many poor decisions made for this game. Can’t help but fucking facepalming. They had the perfect formula for a digimon adventure game but completely fucked the execution. God damn shame.
yeah im kinda missing the point of NG+...unless you just want to reread the story and rush the battles.

Not every game is like From Software where things are Supposed to get harder on NG+. The progenitor, Chrono Trigger Certainly didn't work that way either.
When you get into the route for NG+ the enemies JUMP in level to be higher or at the level of your Digimon. Enemies on the Secret Fourth Route range between Level 75 to 99 for most chapter 9 through the final chapter and most of the bosses remain challenging, plus there are bonus free battles that get progressively more difficult even if you are max level. You would only be around level 50 through 60 after your first playthrough, so on your initial playthrough of NG+ it is still going to present a challenge.
Have you played it on hard?!? Jus up the difficulty lmao 🤣
