Can you do more vids on scent work training ie. training detection cues?

We have been doing a lot more scent work-focused videos as of late. I hope that you have found them to be helpful in your training journey.

I just got into AKC nosework and I haven't been able to find a lot of videos on setting up the scents and training for scents. I'm really glad I found this video. Thank you!

ILoveMyDog thanks so much for supporting the channel. When I first got into the scent work arena, I noticed the same thing: Either the videos were not readily available or they were aged. I am all about simplifying the process and sharing what I know at this stage. I hope we can continue to grow together. Good luck with your dog 🐕

Hi Geryah, I'd like to ask: the Rulebook says "To prepare the odor for trial, two (2) drops of the oil should be applied directly to the cotton ball or cotton swab" and I understand from other sources, ONE swab is placed in a hide vessel for a trial, ie the one saturated with two drops of oil. In your video, you prepare the swabs in a way similar to eg. NACSW, ie apply the oil on several swabs in a jar, shake, and let sit for a few hours. Only you apply the oil directly on the swabs, while (as far as I've noticed) NACSW apply it on the inside of the jar . Is this for training purposes, while in a trial you'll always get 1 swab with 2 drops in 1 hide vessel? Thanks very much for clarification!

Emman Mercurio hello. I placed the link to a website where you can purchase the kit online in the description direct from Leerburg. I am sure you can make one yourself, but it is quick to get started if you want to buy online. I believe they are now even available on Amazon (not sponsored).
