Imagine thinking your opponent is good because he is taking quite some time to make moves but in actuality he is dissecting and carefully explaining how he is going to utterly destroy you.

You are not talking too much! Your explanation of each game piece by piece is super helpful. And I love it when you get down to 1:00 or less and then say "I'm going to have to speed up a bit now" and then find a checkmate in four or five moves that you make in less than 11 seconds!

It's also like a never ending chess puzzle with a right answer that you keep getting hints for in real time.
Nelson explaining this stuff is forcing it into my mind to where I hear him talking when trying to find a move to play

Of course he's not playing too slow...he's explaining what he's doing. If he wasn't teaching us, then ofc that would be playing slow. Why state the obvious?

Don’t change Nelson. I’m learning so much from you talking through your thought process. People should watch different channels if they just want to watch people playing. But I don’t know how much they’re going to get from it compared to your channel.

13:00 whats funny is, in lower ratings this stuff is so common which why people also struggle with just opening theory/studying some openings, they have to adept whats going on and I love that you show these games and explain your moves since thats so instructive! Others just punish mistakes without actually explaining why its bad or how you could go down the line with these type of positions, you're doing a great job Sir!

At 44:43 I think bishop d6 would be best. If he threatens mate, you check, no matter how he avoids you'll win the queen. And depending how he defends king check you'll either lose equal amount of pieces or you'll win one more even with queen

    Finally new climb rating videos!
Could you always explain the brilliant move? For example in 48:48?
Also, i have suggestion for opening Queen Gambit, King's indian defense, and Caro-kann?
Queen gambit is very interesting in lower elo and 1000+ elo. In lower elo they mostly accept the gambit and defense the pawn with the b5. It just funny.
I hate play as a black cause I have to follow(react) white ideas opening. However, King's indian always a good defense for black and i like it.
If i tired playing passive, i like to play caro-kann cause it is kinda aggressive.
Also, i wish you do some quick explanation for each opening that you will use so we could learn more about it. I know that it is easy just to check the internet, yea that's true but i just like the way you explain.

Honestly the biggest takeaway i always have looking at you play chess is keeping it simple. I always go like oh there must be some tactic after this move, or this plan is great so lets just go for it and im getting in some very complicated positions and end up making mistakes. I noticed you always make moves that lead you into the plans instead of planning to make moves if you understand what i mean. And somehow that makes it so you get into way easier positions than i always end up in.
