You are an excellent teacher. Thanks for sharing. I've never attempted to learn a Kiss solo, until now. I had a great time practicing this piece and putting it into motion, and I know my students will enjoy this one too. Cheers.
+JONIRULES thank you for the kind words!! KISS solos are a great spot to start learning lead guitar as they use many common rock phrases while also being excellent melodic compositions. Deuce is one of the longer solos but also one of Ace's best
Hot damn, the little piece of major penatonic, and the second half of phrase 4 is what I've been missing!I finally got this down!thanks for another solo Rhys Lett!!!!!
YOU are awesome dude! About a month ago I saw an article by you (or your group) regarding ten must-learn Ace Frehley solos. Keep it up with the excellent KISS lessons! Thank you!
Great lesson. All of the kiss guitar lessons are awesome. Reese is an awesome guitar teacher. Could you add more solos from kiss rock and roll over album? Thanks.
+Abogado Defensor thank you! So far have lessons for Take Me, Ladies Room, Mr Speed and See You in Your Dreams. Which one would you like to see me do next?
Eastern Suburbs School of Music Hi Reese, the solo from kiss "makin love" is a great solo. All of your solo guitar lessons are very professional and accurate to the note. I Appreciate your lessons. Thanks.
Awesome channel Rhys! Thank you for sharing these videos! Just finished the "Take Me" solo! Going back to the other songs that I know the rhythm parts, and will learn the solos! Also love the way you break the solos down into distinct parts, much easier to learn. Trying to get back into playing guitar, and love Ace's work! I'm old school, love solos with feel, and not a million notes played at warp speed! I do have one question regarding the song Deuce. Have you found any videos that accurately show how to play the main rhythm parts of Deuce, the way it was heard on the studio album? Most videos I come across just show people barring the strings between the 5th & 7th frets, but the studio version there seems to be a staccato style part of the rhythm (if I'm describing that correctly?). Anyway, was wondering if you have found anything that was accurate? All the best, and thank you for sharing (and all the time and effort)! PS. Checked out one of your Dressed to Chill vid's, you guys are AWESOME!
+Brian M thanks Brian for the amazing feedback! More videos to come in future have just sat down to start research for the next round I am creating. I make these videos by learning the parts, using amazing slow downer software to make sure of the accuracy then watch so live RUclips clips to make sure of the fret positioning. I have only concentrated on solos at the moment but can certainly do some rhythm part videos as well. Deuce I would play the verse riff frets 5 and 7 but you are right, I see cover versions that rarely is the riff play correctly. Looks like I need to get a video done for it to help people out!!! Enjoy your playing and feel free to request any videos you would like made
Brian M you are where I am.ive known these songs for 30 years but was clueless about the leads ,thank goodness for this channel.ive got at least a few of them under my belt already!
Eastern Suburbs School of Music thanks for the quick reply, and what would you say is one of the more difficult ones for a not so complete beginner to strive at?
Well done!! You will find a lot of the skills and licks you learn will be found in other solos. So learn 4-5 Ace solos and will help with so many others
From one teacher to another, you ought to have a backing track to demonstrate the contrast with the other instruments and the timing. Otherwise it just sounds like some amateur in a music shop.

can you do the outro solo ? that solo is the definition of ace frehley to me and i feel like it would be awesome if you could teach us it!
Hey Jerry!! Will do my best I need to get some new KISS stuff up
Jumping in and tackling this thing!
I watched it myself for relearning it!!
Hi Reese, a great solo to add to your awesome collection would be "thrills in the night" from kiss animalize. Thanks,
+Abogado Defensor that's my fave Animalize solo
thanks so much! you’re a great teacher :)
Hope this helps your playing!
Thanks a lot for the lesson.
Very welcome! Subscribe to our channel adding more all the time
great lesson, it helps a lot, many thanks!
+S F excellent! Please subscribe to our channel lots of KISS guitar solo videos to learn from
+S F thank you! Any songs you would like to see a lesson for?
I couldn't find a decent lesson for Black Diamond solo (or solos, there is a nice outro by Ace) - any chance for it?
+S F certainly! Good request
Great! how about Ozone?

ruclips.net/video/VFPFn1z83E0/видео.html
Can you do Shock me?
+Ivan Krivonosov certainly! Lot of Love Gun solos scheduled for next taping round
Eastern Suburbs School of Music thank you very much!!🤘🏻
Can you do the second outro solo ?
Yes can put together a lesson for this
Okay! Love that outro little solo and then with genes scream it just goes perfect!
Aside from Detroit rock city solo, what kiss solo would you say is the second easiest to learn?
Plaster Caster is a nice one that’s not too difficult. I Love it Loud doesn’t have much in it
Eastern Suburbs School of Music thanks for the quick reply, and what would you say is one of the more difficult ones for a not so complete beginner to strive at?
One of the Vinnie ones I have done or Uh All Night. For an Ace one then Shock Me
Eastern Suburbs School of Music cool thanks,
Think I’m going to tackle Deuce tomorrow. I have the whole song to Detroit Rock City down pat.
Well done!! You will find a lot of the skills and licks you learn will be found in other solos. So learn 4-5 Ace solos and will help with so many others
@ 13.08 min mark when your doing the 5 pull offs in a row is it always a downstroke
For first note
God of Thunder solo?
+Brandon Mcfall nice request!! Will get on it

Happy with the way I do things and proud to be an amateur in a music shop!!
To much yakking for me.
Hit the playback speed and turn it up, gets through it faster if need!!
