- The May 5th AEW Dynamite has divided opinion amongst AEW fans and after watching that show myself I’ve gotta say I am very surprised and very shocked by some of the booking decisions made on that show, and it was another very strange episode of AEW Dynamite. Yeah I agree. I think even with how bad Vince's booking was he still managed to book Chris well and I still think his 2008 heel run is his best run.
Sadly his ego has gotten to him, add to that the fact that Tony is a Jericho fanboy means Jericho gets to do whatever the fuck he wants in AEW despite how bad it may be.
Chris forgot the main part of his appeal: never staying too long and letting fans anticipate where he's going..

Last week with the Casino Gauntlet match was the most fun I had and that vibe continued into the 4 Way. With 5 hours of TV and the roster they have, they can afford to get enough guys for a multiman match once a week and put “stakes” to it

The difference between AEW and 2008 TNA is, AEW doesn't need to bring anyone in to kill it. The poison is already under their roof. The Bucks influence and TK's incompetence will eventually be AEW's undoing.

Chris Jericho really overstayed his welcome and time in AEW now. Dude is tanishimg his legacy and doesn't realise it. With that ego big head is his, it's not surprising.
His only mistake was having being a "role model" character for his factions and feud instead of being the great heel that he is. But The Learning Tree is good tho, probably his best work ever

The BCC needs to disband NOT expand. They don't do anything. The don't sell for anyone they wrestle like heels but are babyfaces. Moxley is so hard to watch. Danielson wants to put everyone over. Too many mixed messages in how they're booked

At first i couldnt stand the learning tree - I have to say I disagree with the Jericho segments back stage - to me they were quite hilarious - the segments shouldn't be in the ring though. Jericho shouting and talking like a weird senile old man is hilarious - hopefully there is some sort of payoff down the line
That cmll deal they got is so dumb Tony brings them in to do jobs. Can’t anyone on the huge roster they have do a job instead of using the cmll guys. Makes no sense
If you wanna watch great matches that are randomly thrown together with minimal buildup, you watch AEW. If you are wanting to witness great storytelling and don’t care as much if the match is great, you watch wwe. What AEW needs to do is boot Tony off as head booker and hire someone who actually knows how to tell a story. Once that happens they will again be able to compete with wwe. As it stands wwe is kicking their arse.

The Learning Tree makes me laugh because I know how much it makes social media "experts" hate it. In a bubble I might not like it, but looking at how much hate he gets I do.

He's criticized aew before and made "anti aew" videos. So whenever there's an anti aew video or a video with anything criticizing aew the anti aew crowd come in swarms in the comments. Even though the creator themselves isn't exactly anti aew. World of Geekdom isn't anti aew he simply made good faith critiques. But he has criticize them which means the anti aew crowd sees him as one of them. It's like the anti aew crowd purposely search's anti aew videos on RUclips to swarm the comments.
I dont know but aew shows are always watching..you dont get bored..

Skipped through most of the matches bar the women's match (which surprisingly was the only match with a story) promos and Jerichos stuff were great but the matches were pretty much all skippable, unfortunately
I’m going to be blunt. Sadly, I don’t stay tune to AEW for Swerve . He’s a phenomenal performer. But I feel very bad that they booked him secondary. I only stay tuned for Mercedes people hate but I honestly think her segments are very entertaining she’s killing it and I look forward to see her break away from Sasha promos. Her promo after beating Willow was more authentic then the other few she’s must see next to MJF. This is someone that actually watch WWE. I should be staying tune for the main guy. But to me, Mercedes is the only interesting champion right now. That’s just my opinion so don’t come at me with pitch and forks.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Tony needs to book him better. I want to see AEW win equally like WWE, but in their way

I agree it’s one of the worst part of the show in my opinion. Swerve is kind of mid I think the storyline he’s currently in or actually main event level . I enjoyed that Christian storyline. Unfortunately, he doesn’t feel like the number one champion. Honestly, Mercedes feels more like the number one champion than him. And I don’t think a lot of people realize. But she’s slowly becoming must see. I think all of her segment I’ve only gotten better from each week she was been on. Swerves storyline should definitely be in the main event that Christian storyline should have been main event level. But Willow in Mercedes felt more like a big fight feel. I felt more far more personal and if that was the main event I think they would’ve sent everybody home happy . I hope they book him better because I actually like the AEW shows and that’s coming from someone that watch WWE more.

Look this might be an unpopular opinion, but I got to say it. Everything that everyone said that John Cena did in the 2000's - 10's, is the same thing MJF dose. As in doing the same shit over and over and over and over again the only thing different is MJF swears.
I love aew but man Chris Jericho and the acclaimed have so much go away heat with me. I also think aew is great at starting fueds and stories but they overbook it and make it more complicated. I'm talking about the elite takeover story.

The aew vs elite match at forbidden door while a great match it's kinda pointless? Because the elite won but Tony still has ultimate power. What's the point of this story if tony is back? How can the elite takeover if tony is quite literally RIGHT THERE in the building and can override everything the elite want? Whats Christopher Daniels interim whatever tf point when he's just the talking head of tony khan? It would've worked if tony was still gone and Daniels took over that role. Idk this story sucks lol.
AEW are really bad at doing stories like this. Stories that are basically stories wwe does. AEW is great when it's this guy vs this guy and we get a video package of both guys training. They're great at keeping things simple and putting on great matches. They're horrible at trying to put on any story that's above the basic level story.
Oh yeah hook also has go away heat with me. I get the only way he gets better is on screen but bro... He's in a role that so many people in that company should have over him. Everytime I see him on TV I think to myself why him? Out of everyone you have that you can give this time to why him? He's awful he can't cut a promo and beside doing suplexes which all look great those are the only moves he can perform that don't look bad.
Mariah May vs Saraya wasn't postponed it was meant to happen this week but their social media guy messed up and uploaded the graphic last week.

Also Saraya said last week or the week before she beat Toni Storm the last time they faced each other and if this is a way for to get a title shot then it makes sense that she beat Mariah May, the only thing that doesn't was the beatdown after but Mina Shirakawa should up to make the sabe so even that made sense.
