Walmart is a tippy top company to be a company driver. You made a fantastic decision!
Moses congratulations I think your making the right move get on the 5-2 work week your biggest problem is being away from your family. Walmart has come down on the experience needed. When I was thinking about going to Walmart they wanted 83K miles driven in the last 12 months. Running local JB in Chicago that was impossible to get would have had to go regional for 12 months.
Yes. I remember back in the day they used to want a lot of experience…more than the 30 months they require now.
3 of my coworker got on with walmart and 2 already pass on boarding. Last one start Monday. Probably going to run into 1 old coworker he run out of Sanger. But congratulations very happy for you

Hey! Driver Success I’ve been watching for a while now you have great content great job going to Walmart wish you the best I’m thinking of getting back into trucking haven’t drove for 6 years trying to decide we’re to go with no experience now
That will be tough. If you still have your CDL you will just need to find a company that will give you a refresher course. Just put you with a trainer for a couple of weeks may be.

No. Solo drivers don’t come all the way to Cali. Only team drivers come there

That’s amazing man. I just now found out that you are now working with Walmart. I actually applied yesterday for the Sanger location and I’m curious, how long did it take for them to email you or call you back?
For the Sanger location, I applied on a Friday afternoon and they called me back on Monday.
@@driversuccess yes I saw that on one of the videos you uploaded after. I applied for the Sanger location as well as Terrell and Cleburne. All within a 60 mile radius of where I live. I wanted Sanger because it’s only 30 minutes away from home. I didn’t hear back from them but I do have a phone interview for the Cleburne location tomorrow morning. I just pray that everything works out for me.
