Ahora tienes que escuchar a la primera voz del grupo Tarja Turunen, especialmente la canción Phantom of the Opera, es una de las mejores presentaciones del grupo en general, además ahí mismo notarás otra gran voz en Marko, Nightwish es increíble en todos los aspectos.

Welcome to the world of symphonic metal! And thank you for checking this legendary band, performing here at Buenos Aires :) in 2012, together with Floor Jansen, the 3rd and present female singer of the band, in front of a wild Argentinian audience.
Also a recent sad news - these days Marco Hietala, the bass player and male singer of the band, announced his retirement both from the band and the public life for the next year at least - we'll see what the future brings to us.
About the instrumental and vocal added parts - it's good to know they recorded their orchestral and vocal back tracks with prestigious institutions as London Philharmonic Orchestra. London's The Metro Voices choir group and London's Young Musicians Children's Choir as their regular partners.
As I saw you enjoyed this powerful performance of the band, together with the stellar vocals and charisma of our Dutch metal queen, Floor Jansen. Your emotional reaction impressed me. You understood very well the mix of vocal styles that Floor used. Hope you'll continue on this path.
Since this is your first Nightwish reaction, it is my duty to give you the short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan who has since passed away (and I am doing this in her memory):
" Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland.
Tuomas Holopainen, the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. Marco Hietala is the Bassist and vocals .And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen . Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrumentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen is the drummer. In 2015 due to Jukka's health issues Kai Hahto became the drummer and as of now is a permanent addition.
Nightwish has had three singers. 1st one was Tarja Turunen (Operatic vocals). She was with them until 2005. The 2nd one was Anette Olzon from Sweden (Poppy, strong vocals). She was with them until 2012.The 3rd and current singer is Floor Jansen, from Netherlands (power, operatic, soprano.....most versatile) - you just heard her.
There are live concerts that you should use depending on what era. From Wishes to Eternity and End of an Era (Tarja), Montreux Festival live 2012 and Exit Festival (Anette), Live at Wacken 2013, Live at Wembley, Live at Tampere, Vehicle of Spirit, Decades live (Floor). I hope this helps.

Hello from Brazil. Yes, you experienced what we at the Nightwish Army calls it as "Floorgasm". This is only one portion of what happens when an amazing band finds an amazing singer like Floor. She is the 3rd lead singer of the band and this last part that you liked so much didn't exist originally, it was only instrumental. This song was created to be sung by Tarja Turunen, the original singer, a *fantastic* lyric soprano. When Floor came to Nightwish, in 2012, she created this amazing ending and the rest is history...
Glad that you enjoyed Nightwish as much as we do! I hope you go on a journey to know this band, with all the eras (all three singers), with their history (there are songs really personal to them) and with the feelings this band shares with all of us. And then you will be able to understand why we are do passionate, protective and dedicated to this band.

If I hadn't had passionate music teachers in my high school, I might never have started singing. I was the bullied, insecure kid who dreamt of singing without knowing that I had a voice for it.
"Because of my dedication at school I dared to crawl out of my shell and started to sing! I became more confident of myself and made friends and was forever in love with music.

Floor's Wiki Bio
Floor Jansen started studying music at the Dutch Rock Academy in 1999, entering the Conservatorium Tilburg three years later. She studied musical theatre and a year of opera. After After Forever split up she started teaching performing in her own course called Wanna be a Star?!
She used to play the guitar, piano and flute and has completed several years of music studies.
From the age of 16 all during this period she was fronting the the Band Apocalypse (later known as After Forever) in 1997 until they disbanded in 2009. She then did vocal coaching and formed her own band called Revamp which officially broke up in 2016 because of Floor's commitment to Nightwish.

Nightwish "I Want My Tears Back" Buenos Aires 2018, (the title of the video says 2019), is one of my favorite videos, because of the 'crazy' Argentinian crowd. The song, performance is great too.

Hola. Me siento extraña escribiendo en español ya que siempre he visto reacciones en inglés :D
En esta presentación Floor tenía solo un par de meses con la banda (no sé exactamente cuántos, pero eran muy pocos). Los temas que canta en este show y todos los demás hasta 2015, pertenecen a las dos vocalistas anteriores, ambas completamente diferentes en estilo, que Floor los cubre muy bien, llegándolos a perfeccionar (para mi gusto) con el tiempo. La versión de Wacken 2013 (y todo el concierto) es espectacular, en él se puede ver cómo Floor hizo suyos cada uno de los temas de Nightwish anterior a ella.
Este concierto y otros más grabados en Argentina son una retribución de la banda al maravilloso público que tienen ahí.
Nightwish con Tarja era genial. Con Anette hizo hermosos temas. Con Floor alcanzó la perfección y más. Aún extraño a Jukka que tuvo que dejar la banda, lamento la partida de Marco y añoro que vuelva.

This song is from late 2012, only two months after Floor started singing with Nightwish. Dead Boys Poem is from the 2018 Buenos Aires concert. Personally, this is one of my favorite Ghost Love Score versions that Floor has done. I love the Wacken 2013 version, but there just seems to be a lot more passion or something in this one. And the ending of this one is just spectacular, imo!! Greetings to you from Idaho, USA...🌟💫💛

So glad you heard this performance. While Wacken 2013 is more powerful at the end (Floor had a cold in Buenos Aires!) , this one has subtlety and the audience interaction is fantastic.

When Floor sang here she was pretty new to the band. 2 months earlier she had stepped in for the former singer who left the band in the middle of the tour.
When she joined she was still affected by a burn-out earlier. But it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
She stepped in on a very short notice, and during this concert she still was healing and building confidence.
You will hear it when you get to Wacken 2013. Though this is very good, you will hear her at her peak!

Nightwish nunca decepciona, y con Floor ha alcanzado un nivel superlativo en mi opinión! Me encantaría que sigas el Nightwish Journey para ir encontrando todos los matices de la banda e ir conociendo en profundidad todo lo que floor le ha aportado. Y de paso te vas a ir encontrando con otras facetas de floor en solitario y con sus bandas anteriores que te van a alucinar!!!

Lo siento, pero sin Tarja, Nightwish, no sería conocido, ni habría triunfado como lo hizo. Os recuerdo que estuvo desde sus inicios en 1997 hasta 2005-2006) Y sinceramente, tener que abandonar un grupo, por que el teclas, ha dejado la relación que tenían, el y Tarja, y quería hacerle hueco a Anette (puesto que era la nueva compañía que tenia el sr Tuomas), que resultó un fiasco enorme, es deprimente...
inevitablemente la siguiente reacción es Epica - Sancta Terra feat Floor Jansen (es un concierto de Epica por su 10mo aniversario e invitan a Floor Jansen para cantar con la cantante de la banda Simon Simons) te lo recomiendo mucho.

Tu reacción es espectacular!!! Esta canción es mi favorita de NW y Floor ha traído nueva vida a la banda!! La amo mucho!! Es magnífica. Escucho este concierto todo el tiempo. Tienes que escuchar The Greatest Show on Earth de este año (2022) en el HellFest. Una PASADA. Eso sí, la canción dura 24min.

You will see it if you look more from her, she's so so good and she can sing so much different stiles, from Metal to Opera. And i would be happy to see more Nightwish or Floor reactions from you! If you will hear/see this song once more than look it from the Wacken 2013 conzert, for the most Nightwish fans, and for me too, this is the best Nightwish conzert ever! But i love both versions, at this conzert you see Floor wasn't a fix band member, but she did a really good job, in 2013 she come fix to the band. Because 99% of the Nightwish fans fell in love with her! Me too. Maybe you will do a "Storytime" reaction, from Wacken 2013, next? 'Did you know that she sang a song in Spanish? She sang it especially for all her fans in South America (to do and learn it in the Spanish language) and for a singer in the program 'Beste Zangers 2019' in the Netherlands for a singer Rolf Sanchez. He is from the Domenican Republic and lives in the Netherlands. It's originaly his song and in the show, (they are all singers), do they sing songs from eachother or a song which does have a special meaning for one of them. Each week, there is another singer in the hotseat. Maybe you love how Floor did learn to sing this song in Spanish and would you like to react to the song in this program. It's of course not her native language. (She is Dutch)
