There's something about the little boy in the trunk that just bothers the crap out of me. To think that some poor child was so scared in the last moments of life makes me wanna cry.
I feel the same way. It's always terrible when bad things happen to innocent people, but even more-so when it's a child. It makes my stomach churn and I can feel the heat rising to my face. Having a very vivid visual memory and anxiety, I will occassionally have images I've seen many years ago resurface in my memory out of nowhere, and I will have the reaction all over again. All the more reason to stay true to one's own principles, morals and integrity.

They are actually the real shadows that occurred when people or other objects blocked the intense radiation and flash for a second, before vaporising, which bleached the surrounding stone a lighter tone, like when stone becomes naturally bleached over time.
That's not entirely correct. Samples of the "shadows" revealed charred remains of organic tissue, so the "shadows" are most likely particles of the incinerated bodies, fused to the walls.
So how come there are also shadows of inanimate objects like ladders and walking sticks? And if the shadows only show organic material, how come EVERY organic object didn't leave a shadow.

I loved what you said about the final photo of mother and son on the plane, before it was shot down with total loss of life. You are right - it's a beautiful image and I'm sure their loved ones treasure it as they look so happy. They have no idea their lives are almost over. It reminds me of the saying: "It is better to travel hopefully, than to arrive". None of us knows how long we have left - it could all end, at any moment. To live in the moment and appreciate every small joy is so important. Living in Holland we seen the cars bringing back the bodies of the dead from the airplane crash was very sad and very emotional as the whole highway was closed while the cars where making there journey 😞

About Malaysian plane shot down in Ukraine... Ukraine Military shot it down because the pilot failed to identify the plane with Ukrainian Air Defense. It was an unfortunate event made worse by the pilot who decided to go trough Ukraine instead trough Belorussia and Russia like instructed in Poland.. People fail to realize that in that time-period pro-Russian rebels had only light armaments and light vehicles. If they had those missiles than Ukrainian Air Force would lost a lot of planes during the war. Never-mind that Ukraine and Russia both have 99% same technology meaning that Ukrainians also have those missiles. But in the end, what made it worse is that all of those killed are used as war propaganda by both west and east to suit their needs.

One of the things in the horror community that always gets me is that in spite of us loving creepy and gruesome things, most of us have a genuine empathy for the real life sufferings of people. I don't know if it's because we have a better understanding of the line between fiction and reality or what, but even though we enjoy being freaked out, we still acknowledge the lives of people lost to horrific events. People weren't vaporized at Hiroshima - the bomb went off way too high for that - what happened was that the old concrete was bleached by the flash and the area they cast shadows on wasn't. Incinerated, crushed, smashed or perforated with glass and debis yes. But vaporized? No.
I think it's very possible that in the Candy Man video the child in the photo was never identified because it was mistakenly identified as a young Boy by the men who kidnapped the child and also possibly assumed by the police but it was actually a young girl.

Correct. The surrounding area was effectively bleached, leaving behind a shadow.

I loved what you said about the final photo of mother and son on the plane, before it was shot down with total loss of life. You are right - it's a beautiful image and I'm sure their loved ones treasure it as they look so happy. They have no idea their lives are almost over. Living in Holland we seen the cars bringing back the bodies of the dead from the airplane crash was very sad and very emotional as the whole highway was closed while the cars where making there journey 😞

About Malaysian plane shot down in Ukraine... Ukraine Military shot it down because the pilot failed to identify the plane with Ukrainian Air Defense. It was an unfortunate event made worse by the pilot who decided to go trough Ukraine instead trough Belorussia and Russia like instructed in Poland..
People fail to realize that in that time-period pro-Russian rebels had only light armaments and light vehicles. If they had those missiles than Ukrainian Air Force would lost a lot of planes during the war. Never-mind that Ukraine and Russia both have 99% same technology meaning that Ukrainians also have those missiles.
But in the end, what made it worse is that all of those killed are used as war propaganda by both west and east to suit their needs.

One of the things in the horror community that always gets me is that in spite of us loving creepy and gruesome things, most of us have a genuine empathy for the real life sufferings of people. I don't know if it's because we have a better understanding of the line between fiction and reality or what, but even though we enjoy being freaked out, we still acknowledge the lives of people lost to horrific events. I think it's very possible that in the Candy Man video the child in the photo was never identified because it was mistakenly identified as a young Boy by the men who kidnapped the child and also possibly assumed by the police but it was actually a young girl.

I spent two years in Australian prisons in the state of Victoria. Five days at the Melbourne Assessment Prison, three weeks at the Metropolitan Remand Centre, eight months in Port Phillip Prison, six months in Marngoneet Prison and the remainder at the open camp Dhuringile prison. I have dived with sharks in Australia, handled our venomous snakes and been in the midst of political riots in Bangkok where a bomb went off and eighteen people were shot dead. But being in prison, especially Port Phillip Prison and Marngoneet prison were by far the most dangerous places I have ever been.
