I’m a musician & audio engineer. Re: the cave vibration in this video’s last segment: I use & manipulate 110 hZ, a.k.a. the note A2, all the time, there’s nothing dangerous there. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve experienced supernatural events in my life and I know that certain audio frequencies will have negative physical effects on the human body, but they’re much lower in frequency. 110 hZ is a crucial frequency in popular music, it’s near the lower end of a bass guitar’s range. You’d have to go to 30 hZ & lower to create the palpable, negative physical effects that story implied.

The lighthouse mystery:
1. No time travel. The dates in the journal were simply wrong.
2. Marshall was premature in thinking the storm ended. It kicked up again, and something happened outside that made the men jump up in the middle of dinner, overturning their chairs (Alternative: in #3, the third man overturned the chairs on the way out). Two went out in oilskin jackets and the third stayed behind to tend to the light.
3. The two outside got into deadly serious trouble. The third man saw/heard. He rushed to save them, and he was in such a hurry that he didn't stop to put on a jacket. All three were washed away and drowned.
4. Bodies *usually* wash up onshore, but not *always.*
On #4 - especially in a place with a strong undertow. Places like Peggy's Cove in Canada are known to be horrible for this, because once people are taken by the current they are rarely found ashore given the ridiculously strong undertow which washes people hundreds of meters if not a couple of kilometers away from shore.

I’m pretty sure they had the dates all wrong and actually tho very sadly all washed away during the storm. It is protocol for at least one dude to stay inside the Light House at all times but I think they sort of panicked and that third dude ran out without his coat when one of the others got smashed by a wave. Then all three got swept away. It’s been so long there’s not telling whether or not someone found some bodies somewhere, and considering the ferocity of the storm, maybe even pretty far away.
It’s sad and it sucks but I don’t think it’s all that mysterious. Poor old Light House Keeper Dudes. :-(

I caught that too. However, he may have inferred that from previous reports. The man had attempted suicide before. Or they may have gotten it from the person at the motel who checked him in.
To add a little bit on the last video and the area. I was born and raised in North Las Vegas, where Nellis AFB is located, and was very active in our local boy scouts. At a young age we get information and the dangers drilled in our heads about the dangers of abandoned silver and gypsom mines that litter that part of the Mojave desert. We were told never to enter them and never travel out alone. The caves are used a lot by snakes to escape the heat, old wood shoring that are as old as the mines themself, and the way the material of the gypsom is found naturally, it could easily break loose and cause a small cave in. Bottom line, if you wanted to get lost and never be found in that area it wouldn't be that hard. People sadly perish in the desert around Vegas quite frequently. That said, I love Top5s and get excited when a new vid is uploaded

NoFace the only question then is "Why bother with the M shaped cave story?" and I guess perhaps if he really did commit suicide there may have been some life insurance money or business debt that could've been gained/avoided by simply "disappearing". The fact that he's an avid hiker would've helped too as 4 hours in a desert is not some simple stroll. In one sense suicide makes the most sense , hell he even said he's taking his 9mm so yeah. On the other hand that's lot of work an almost too convinient in some ways.

I think I can explain the moving coffins. Back in those days, coffins were made out of lead... Creepily enough, it was very common for them to explode, due to the decomposition gases and the metal reacting together.
Exploding coffins would of course move about, especially in a tiny vault full of other coffins too!

I grew up in Gary Indiana (family's still there)....I know THAT story well...MANY other strange things happened to others at this location and if you've ever been to Gary..you know how easy it is to believe the gate to hell is located there. Our police officers seen similar things at the home with the family. This is a case that I can't see as a hoax. I'm a skeptic through and through with almost all "supernatural" ....not with this case(and my reasoning has NOTHING to do with being born and raised in the city)....definitely worth researching beyond that one article

Top5s, there is a film of the light house. It is called
"The Vanishing."
I spoke to someone on here a year or two ago claiming to be part of the last crew before the Flannan Islands lighthouse was automated.
He could have been lying, but tbh I kinda got the feeling he was genuine. Anyway, he said there was likely an accident down by the landing that involved one of the keepers being washed off the jetty by a huge wave & the other 2 keepers also got washed out to sea attempting to save him. The oilskin was left behind in the rush to get down to the dock. It's not true that bodies always wash up & even if they did that coastline is pretty remote, so they could easily have washed ashore & not been found. Animals & decomposition would have destroyed the bodies if they had washed ashore.
I asked him about the voices on the wind & stories of spirits haunting the ruined chapel. He said that other than it being a remote spot there was nothing sinister about the place. He never heard or saw anything creepy there & to his knowledge no-one else in the lighthouse service ever had. That was just folklore.
I love a good mystery, & do believe in the supernatural etc, but I think this one is just an unexplained accident & a legend has grown up around it since. Soz.

I can't sleep and all the lights in my house are out except the light from my phone. Im just laying in bed with my headphones and my girl is by my side and my dog is laying at my feet. I just heard her growl and stare at the corner of the room. My dog never growls unless someone walks into the room she doesn't know. Which makes the situation that much scarier. Questions! In reference to number 2:
- He was already dead when the pizza delivery man knocked on his door. But the evidence shows he could have been dead for a couple days previously; meaning; could someone else have ordered the pizza and possibly murdered him?
- He was hospitalized previously for an earlier suicide attempt but said he didn’t want treatment. Back in 1997 did hospitals allow you to leave A.M.A. If you were a danger to yourself?
- He had prescription bottles in his room with the labels peeled off so as to conceal his identity. But couldn’t they have looked up the medications refilled together to see who was prescribed all the same medications? Or is South Carolina not required to keep a written or computerized log?

I lived in Barbados all my life. The Moving Coffins have been a passed down story for the ages. It is true and yes, you can visit the vault, as it is open to the public but many locals don't see it as something wish to do. However it's not the only family vault in Barbados with moving coffins to this day.
