for streaking grime: to avoid the little q-tip fibers just use a make up sponge. You can even get ones that are shaped like q-tips.
Nah... Those melt with white spirit and gunk up... Best thing is a microfiber cloth, like the ones used to clean glasses. They last a lifetime, too.
@@Virakotxa I've painted 2 full armies with this method, with white spirits and have had no problems at all. But I'll have to give the microfiber thing a try

Really nice results, I'll ponder these for my next yellow project I need to tackle.. I have some industrial Mechanicus scenery that would deffs benefit ⚡

I believe the only real way to do it on a high level, is to just do it and watch out for your tears so they don´t hit your model

I wonder, if there is an opaque yellow by any brand.
Pro-Acryl is a pretty good yellow (and the white is fantastic), also artezia acrylic is a good range if not specific for models.
Dominate the Paint
It's so strange... I LOVE painting yellow. I have to basically talk myself out of making every kill team squad I make some shade of yellow. It's such a nice contrast color, bright, great to contrast with orangey shading etc...
Maybe it's that I often start with a yellow layer from airbrush, but yeah. It's my favorite color for minis.
