Agreed! It’s an acquired taste for some but I really enjoy the power of the tools and the workflow keeps me productive. Yes last update was in October/November for iOS so hopefully we’ll get some new goodies soon
It can do some basic r/w automation with its stock items and pan/volume etc the auv3 automation has to be drawn in I believe at this time. But the dev might be adding some auv3 automation in the future based on some things I’ve seen in the MTS forum. That fed up feeling, was sort of my predicament prior to getting into MTS, I’ve since grabbed it for desktop also and now I’ve got a great cross platform app workflow
@@iPadBeatMaking And what about midi mapping, can I map AU parameters to a midi controller? I watched a video on RUclips where it said that you can’t map midi at all. It’s what holding me back from purchasing it atm. I don’t want to spend money on another incomplete DAW as I already have so many. I want a DAW that can do it all.
thanks for this. While we watch you do your thing, we learn it a lot quicker ;) . Next time show us the Score view. I’ve just bumped into this App/DAW.. but i’ve realized that it doesn’t offer MIDI mapping, for external controllers and pedals.. Do you confirm that ? Thanks again. ;)
That’s a personal preference based on workflow preferences. Do u prioritize touchscreen or keyboard case? Do you like the pad centric workflow like bm3 or a drawing in workflow like FL? Are you sampling? More audio focused or midi instrument focused? Are u looking to finish the whole project in iOS or do u want a dual platform DAW that u can open on Mac or Windows? Personally, I’m enjoying MTS at the moment, but I explore every iOS daw here and there.
@@iPadBeatMaking I'm used to fl work flow so I tend to draw my notes. But it seems harder work bm3. I'm gonna look up the atom app you was using to see if it helps
If you’re drawing notes, with a mouse and keyboard mostly or keyboard case then MTS is the best imo. Nothing else really comes close in terms of helping u do that while staying in flow. Atom is also great and can help u maximize some of that drawing In inside of bm3. MTS is definitely ‘different’ than most though and has a learning curve, but it’s really good once you learn it! Are you on discord? We can chat real time there and we got some other bm3 and mts and more users there too
11:20 by the way you can set negative bars at the beginning of the track from the tempo editor window. Thanks for the video!

@@iPadBeatMaking Are we gonna see a part 2 and part 3 of hour long MTS tutorials from you?
Nice one!
Thank you!!
Interesting, how does it handle automation? I would love to see more of this. I'm fed up with all the other DAW's on iOS, MTS could be my new DAW.
