  • Brushed vs brushless, which is better? Josh and Ryan put the Makita DJR186Z and Milwaukee M18 CSX head to head to find out which one is best. Does using different Milwaukee blades improve the performance of each reciprocating saw? Will the Makita out perform the Milwaukee when using a higher quality blade?

    Would have been better to use the Makita XRJ05Z, that's on the same level as the M18 fuel.

    I am a milwaukee guy. Already invested in the M12 & M18 lineup so try to stick to them but 0 doubt if you're a dewalt, milwaukee or makita fan you're into great companies. Nothing but respect for them.
    p.s. loving the videos. On a bit of a binge watch atm

    1) Please explain how brushless manufacture equates to being more robust and better than a brushed motor.
    2) Please explain what the Romans have ever done for us ?
    ps, My reciprocating saw is 240 Volts, dark green and has an ordinary motor.

      @tcg1_qc 8 месяцев назад +2

      Brushed motors, use, as the name implies, brushes. Those wear out over time and need replacing. Brushed motors are also less efficient and powerful than brushless ones.

    • @adelarsen9776
      @adelarsen9776 8 месяцев назад

      You can put more power into Brush motors. That's why serious motors are brush type. There's nothing wrong with brush motors. You can easily repair them. @@tcg1_qc

    Very stupid test..you compared an economic recip saw with a top recip saw..

    • @The109project
      @The109project 2 года назад +3

      The test was to see if the top spec was actually better and if the better blades made a difference. On the small stuff both worked pretty much the same, hardly any difference. When you got to the bigger stuff the difference was more apparent, but once the makita had the better blade, the performance increased to pretty much match the Milwaukee. All in all, what I got from the video is that you don't need the top spec saw as it still did the job well as long as you are using good blades.

    You guys are nuts lmfao , get a separate piece of wood each in a vice . That being said unfortunately that 186 is never gonna beat that milwaukee they have so much power . Would love to see the new makita 189 v a milwaukee.
