Honest and straight to the point thanks man!
Strange sounds: before I bought this I thought I wouldn't use it, and today I'm playing with it perfectly. Great module, I added Yamaha pads to it, connected it to an audio interface, adding some more guitar effects (fuzz, octaver, spring reverb, etc.), and finally to a PC with the Reaper app.
I don't use the smatphone app, it's crap.

BTW, I saw you high tom de-tuned a bit. It's normal. Swap from metal to plastic washer will do just fine.
My Pearl Midtown is super cheap and kept de-tune.

Great review! I have a rather peculiar question. Would the EAD10 work as a "drum mic" if plugged directly into a mixer then into the PA? By that I mean completely bypassing the module, just the EAD10 mic itself out into the mixer, out into the PA
Your rack tom 1 is not tuned properly it's disks at a tuning point

I just went out and got the EAD10 only I'm using an Samsung Android. !
When I go to google play , description say.......this mobile is compatible but all the reviews have 1 star.
Question is didn't you try it and Apple sounded better ?
Will it work at all with an Android ?
Should I go and get and Apple tablet ?

a week before buying the ead10 i had gotten a new android. i was so pissed when the app just didnt connect

Thanks for watching! I am not sure about the usb stick. To record with a DAW, use a USB b to USB a cable and select it as an input device.
Thanks JJ! I have manage to record to a usb stick in the mean time! 🙂... The reason why I did not manage in the first instance: the usb stcik needed to be formatted on the EAD10 first in order for the system to be able to use it!: in the Menu -> File -> Format, etc..
Can you go live with the ead10??
Stupid sounds a normal drummer would never use seems to be the thing. I have a Roland VAD 507 costing nearly £4k, it is full of stupid sounds and very bad sounding kits. But the 1 I have perfected and set up sound greeeat. I am sure that if you spend time with it you could get something good out of it. Good quality studio gear to put it through makes a big difference. More people should do what you have done here.

Have you or anyone who uses an EAD10/recnshare app had any issues with the playback sounding muddy/having no clarity? Whilst recording through recnshare it sounds great but listening back it's awful and have no clue what it is I'm doing wrong. I've even watched and followed El Esteparios steps haha. Should also add I'm an android user too not IOS if that makes any difference? Any words of wisdom is appreciated 👍
Thanks for watching! I haven't heard of this issue before but if I had to guess, it's probably because you're using a low-quality cable to connect the module to your phone. Let me know if you find a fix.
A low quality Usb B to Usb C cable? (Android phone I use is an Oppo Find X3 Neo) if that makes any difference haha. Yeah I thought a cable was simply that, I never considered it could maybe low quality. How would I differentiate between a low quality and a high quality cable? Do apologise for all the questions haha
