I know her neighbors appreciated this, and getting all those weed seeds up will keep the yards (eventually, if all bag) dandelion free. If only more bagged. People ask us why our yard always looks so good. We read a book from a gardener in our area (Texas - Neil Sperry) and got educated. In our 70's, late 60's now, and we still do our own maintenance and dragging around hoses watering. We love it, and are so grateful to God that we can still do it. There will come a time...but we have a sweet lawncare crew around us who use walk behinds with baggers, that will take over when needed....we have already called on them a couple times. God is so good!
Fills, the irony is I hate yard work. And don’t care for most channels like this. Your kindness and compassion has hooked me. Then, I found this video. I despise dandelions. I get incredible joy out of watching you crush them underfoot, weed eat them and mulch them with mower. Thank you for all you do. I’ll definitely be supporting you. If any other way other than coffee let me know. Until I will buy you a cup of hot or cold. - DJ
Great job, young man?? I love watching you. My husband I have had a Lawn Care Service for over 30 years now and I know all the "good stuff" about grooming yards. You are ama❤🎉zing.
The videos are much more fun to watch when you speed them up, we all follow what you are doing and we love seeing the before and after sooner than later... love you bro. hope I get to meet you someday, I will keep praying for the Fathers favor on your life and business. Thank you for sharing your gift.
This answers the question “whatever happened to…..”. Still curious about how long a job takes on the 1st pass to correct the overgrowth vs doing it from then on a regular basis. This one re-I forced the gas + line + blades + wear on equipment + pay ( $15/hr for just a cut & weedeat in DFW). I doubt there are viewers that don’t believe in the dedication of this, but to go back in a second time says it all.
Well done and I am surprised the grass ended up looking so lush after you mowed it AND those pesky dandelions. With you now on the job regularly, things will start looking even better. Props to you,
Here in Vancouver Canada property owners are being asked to leave the dandelions alone for a few weeks to allow bees and other early pollinators to bulk up on food before the regular flowers/blossoms are ready. Without bees mankind dies.
Dandelions are also medicinal. No need to overthink it though this yard was a disaster. It looks like they had been growing for quite a while. The bees were fine I’m sure.
That mowing looks so satisfying. I have a smaller lawn that I push mow and keep cropped to the lowest cut height setting. Every Spring, my yard along with many in town are full of dandelions. I end up mowing every 3 to 5 days in the Spring to keep dandelions to a minimum. After the dandelions are done for the year by late Spring, I go to a 5 to 7 day schedule between mowings.
I would never thought of watching a full video about mowing the lawn but I did, and even went back and forth to see if I missed something. 🤣🤣 Great tools you use. By the time you took to finish I would be still fighting trying to pull the string to start the weed eater. Great job. Even though I think yards look prettier with yellow and purple flowers. Thank you.
Healthy PH in this yard... it's gorgeous... pollination dream area!!! Good job on the tidy up.... don't stress over the pretty yellow flowers.... I'd give a million bucks to have this yard.... extremely healthy soil
FYI Fill, Dandelions are NOT weeds. They are a fully edible plant with many nutritional and health benefits. Their roots, besides being edible, also contain more vitamins than some vegetables and their root system helps keep your soil aerated to help your grass grow better. I would welcome a lawn like this. Dandelions are in the Diasy family of flowers.
Thanks Papa Jay for the information. A lot of people in my state HATE dandelions and always strive for a lush, green lawn. Companies spray chemicals to keep them from emerging throughout the year. I DON'T do any type of chemical spraying. Seems like maybe this customer doesn't have a treatment plan. I was asked to mow the grass and keep it maintained on a weekly basis :)
Bro... dandelions are a nutritious food. They are pretty too. You can pick them and remove the flowers for a nice dandelion salad. Flavor is nice and mild. Ppl in the great depression lived off alot of those salads.
Or medicinal for your liver. Or important for European honeybees and solitary bees, both in trouble. Bees love yellow flowers. The could have waited a few weeks if he'd educated them, until the flowers distributed their seeds.
Dandelions are very healthy and medicinal. The homeowners and neighbors may be very glad to have them come next spring, the way shortages and inflation are going. In France, they are raised commercially for resale. Flowers can be eaten in a salad or made into jelly or wine, also battered and deep fried. Roots, roasted as a coffee substitute, and the leaves can be eaten raw in a spring salad with field greens or cooked as greens. Please don't disparage the dear dainty dandelion.! ;-) I hope you are composting all that wonderful plant material? Brown gold on the garden and flower beds.
@@grandmasgarden9142 you are absolutely right! They are among the first flowers offering food for our pollinators. And bears like them too! I grow milkweed in my flower garden for the Monarchs. And have lots of dandelions in my back yard.
You are really zipping through, restoring the design lines. That string trimmer has a fair amount of power. Good start on that yard. You made it look pretty decent despite the long time of inattention. Will you be catching-up the shrubs as well?
The dandelions in the backyard do look pretty. Like a meadow. They got to have the grass trimmed though definitely overgrown. Don't worry people The neighbors look like they have plenty and they will grow back probably pretty quickly.
I would definitely clean that mower after all those dandelions. The next person you cut will have dandelions popping up next year in their lawn for sure.
Nice job Fill , you don’t trim bushes I know that they’re a few of you lawn care guys on You Tube that don’t it’s Strictly mowing and edging you do right.
Great job Fill. Dandelions are pretty, but they can take over a lawn very quickLy. After they run their life cycle then what remains is muddy bare mess. Enjoy watching your videos. Have a blessed day.
But dandelions are free flowers. My favorite flower lol. They are everywhere and are some of the first food sources for many pollinators. But still nice job lol

Those ants are ghost ants. Harmless except they could contaminate food. They only bite if their nest is disturbed.
Love Dandelions! A sign of Spring
I love your lawn mower, I have never seen a stand on mower before.. It makes my heart happy haha the neighbours would never need to mow again 😊
First thought, ”what a stupid video” - but so hypnotic that had to watch all way through. Also pleasure to see quality work and pro kit!
LOVE THAT SIDE BAGGER....LEAVES THE YARD SPOTLESS
DANDELIONS are some peoples flowers and BEES LOVE THEM
salads made with dandelions are good, and cleans your liver... No infestation, a blessing.
Exactly.. lots of good benefits with those dandelions ❤
I like your new riding toy it cuts the grass very smooth.
