It's funny because he has the power to cause hallucinations, and the Willy's Chocolate Experience site is one big AI hallucination.
One cool thing about Unforeseen is that while the 30 seconds of undetectable are still active, you can kick another generator and reset the duration. As long as it doesn't run out, it doesn't go on cooldown. So long as you are actively kicking generators, you will always be undetectable.
One of the scariest things I've experienced about The Unknown is that when they look around without moving, the head swivels 360 degrees like a horrible, messed up owl

I love the fact that The Unknown wasn't tricked into the entity's realm or promised anything. It know The Unknown had literally anything it could ever want in the real world but still wanted this cool new toy so it just.... grabbed it, mid haunting, while it was screaming bloody murder, and then just kind of left without even bothering with its victim.

I hope there is a skin for that. I dont play this game but it would be cool to see.

With how this killer looks, I kinda hoped Unknown's "grab" animation would have It's arm t w i s t in an unwinding motion to reach the surviror. I believe, that would be really cool and would add to the esthetic of the killer.

They had a missed opportunity to have the axe be embedded into the arm. Feels like we got too many axes already and would've made this dude seem creepier than he already is.

I believe it uses an axe for that mere reason, trying to look human. All his... "aesthetic" goes for that, so, I believe that axe is a good option. Something a Human (not so sane) would use rather than tentacles like in the mori.

Ngl i would have loved if they took the concept of the killer changing from standing in 1st to crawling in 3rd person perspective, with a unique attack or ability activated for each stance, Maybe crawl could've been for stealth and standing for chases
I was thinking that his crawl mode cuts his terror radius in half, if not more.
Then it allows him to crawl through windows faster.
And then have the unique ability to crawl over pallets at the same speed that he crawls through a window.
Like Chucky crawling under pallets, but reverse.
And even keep the cannon thing, and make it where he can use it while crawling.

This thing is gonna be so fun. The hallucinations may even make Insidious somewhat usable in a meme build. Imagine standing still and letting people think you're just a hallucination due to there being no terror radius, only for you to take a swing at them.
Obviously, there are tells, but I think it could catch people off guard every now and then. Looking forward to the Unknown.
Kinda bummed a bit with the character, he looks fun and all but in most trailers for him he’s crawling, was hoping he’d have a crawler 3rd person mode to be harder to spot and get good scares in

I was *so hyped* for this chapter, more than any other before. Teasers and delivery were great, and the killer's design is *so damn horrifyingly incredible* . But I'll be honest, his powers left me feeling very disappointed. I was hoping for a killer that would genuinely be terrifying and creepy to go against, but instead we got whatever this is :
I felt the same way the map is cool looking the survivor is cool the killer looks cool but the killers weapon and power are not what I was expecting. I thought we were getting a crawling mimic type killer that could crawl around and it could use its ability to mimic to lure in survivors by making them think it was an injured teammate but the weird projectile thing is what we ended up with. My thoughts on this chapter are mixed so far.
Teaser: Crawls. Lobby animation: Crawls. Mori: Crawls. Gameplay: Not a crawl in sight, but we do have Dr.hag with a grenade launcher. Such a let down
@l3theeagle189 You have described EXACTLY what I was thinking and what I was expecting to see from the killer. As someone who loves creepy stealthy killers, I was really hoping to have something that could mimic noises (someone breaking a totem, an injured survivor, or even a generator that's being worked on because why the hell not) in order to lure other survivors and ambush them in that way. The axe is such a boring choice of a weapon. It wasn't even connected to any of the teasers for this chapter! (And neither were this killer's abilities). The Unknown could've instead used one of its dislocated limbs to attack (or even those weird tendrils that stick out of its back during the mori), and that would have looked absolutely disturbing, and yet both so awesome and fitting to its theme, way better than what we ended up having. And the crawling.... Its crawling is *SO GOOD* , and yet it's not implemented anywhere aside from the Unknown's lobby animation and mori. So many missed opportunities and great ideas, so many.....
Here's hoping we will one day get a creepy killer with powers like the ones we discussed earlier T^T

Unforeseen perk reminds me your video with The Doctor where you was taking advantage of the doc hallucinations with a very funny build around Insidious perk. Frankly speaking, I laughed a lot at that video 😂 I guess the Unknown can be played in a very similar way by leveraging the undetectable status gained after kicking a gen and its multiple copies around. Btw this time you don’t have to use two skills and a perk cuz it come in that flavor OOTB. I love your videos, all of them. 🎉🎉

dude this one was so cinematic, just how it looks like she’s trying to hide and crawl away under the table/machine and it just roars and she looks back in fear as ir crawls ahead, seeing her. 15:01 this part wasn’t very cinematic but obviously because this was due to game jank, but then it does the horror movie thing where it shows what the thing is going to do before it does it and then it cuts away to the legs kicking or a nearby surface getting covered in blood
Insidious is really fun with him, the amount of times people approached me thinking it was a hallucination

That'd be cool. Having the ability for "Flight" as the invisible ability. Then when it runs out you just land, or if you attack a player you basically just strike down from above to stun or heavy hit.
Something along those lines.
This killer is giving "The Thing" from the 1982 move (later remade). It takes over someone's body and them makes them terribly disfigured, creating mouths in torsos and doing weird tentacle stuff. Definitely a sick addition to the killer roster.
2011 was a prequel with mid cgi but was a solid movie.
Except it's power doesn't do anything remotely related. It feels like they already had a hat filled with powers premade and just grabbed a random one to slap on this killer after the design was done.
The Thing would make a much scarier killer
The thing would be the imposter killer, except the punishment for not knowing it's him is you get instantly mori'd. I'm not sure if they could do a fair adaption of The Thing without weakening it's kill potential. It could destroy an entire planet on it's own since it infects animals and such as well.
I'm disappointed that he doesn't do any of those kind of movements in the game though. That's what would have made him scary

Olivia started to look into the disapearences, many happend no trace of the victims, and also some that where fog related, some say it's an evil entity that came to our world do the apple pie experiments, she saw it be consumed by the fog in it's hotel room and that was the last time she saw that and it mimics peoples voices btw
thats... extremely shortened and quite dishonest, its left on the note of olivia being whispered to join in the fog for promises of seeing sights beyond the regular human world and unknowable horrors, and then it just ends, we dont know if olivia stepped in or not

Alright, so... Why does this thing use an AXE? and WHY does it spit gore bombs? The whole point of what BHVR showed us in the teaser is that this eldrich abomination crawls, its fast, MAYBE stealthy, and had multiple faces and kind of arms sticking out of it, so WHY this?

I’m kinda disappointed with the new killer powers and movement. In all the teasers he’s on all 4’s crawling moving hella fast but on release he’s just walking like every other average killer. Only thing I see on this killer that’s actually a scary sight is his Mori and Thts the only time he’s really on all 4’s 💀💀

His power sucks. Like...sucks. they didn't even try to uncopy and paste hallucinations. I thought they'd do something original this time, like pretend to be the killer and chase survivors as well even though they can't actually attack.

It looks like DBD rendition of a wendigo+rake+the spitter from L4D. Limb elongation from the wendigo, plus the insatiable hunger. Locomotion from the rake. Projectile and elongated neck from the spitter.

I took a break from dbd after the bone chill event. After seeing this I’ll probably be playing dbd for hours and hours more. Great vid as always!
They should’ve done a tier system where once you’ve reached the 3rd tier then you crawl on all 4 and your movement speed is increased. It would definitely increase the scare factor, they did a really good job with the character design👍🏽

The unknown is me when I pickup an Amazon package from the front door.
I feel like The Unknown invalidates Freddy Kreuger, the Demagorgon, and The Hag. I mean, they're all going to have a faster ramp-up/better control of where their teleports are located, but all things considered, by the end of a stage he seems like he'll be in a much better position than any of them.
I feel like the main difference is that they're much easier to spot and remove outside of maybe demo. You can't get rid of gens for Freddy, and Hag traps are hard to find most of the time.
The Unknown most definitely does not invalidate any of those 3 killers, those 3 killers still have much different play styles.
I like the idea of this killer so much, LOVE IT even, but I really don't feel like an Axe (or any melee weapon for that matter) fit him.

The Unknown isn't a creature, it's some sort of entity that exists as an amalgamtion of everything it has ever been theorized to be. What people think it is, it is. What people think it does, it does. A skinwalker is human who uses witch craft, paints his body in ash, wears the skin of what ever animal he wants to change into. Uses a dart for shooting human bone into humans, if not noticed then they'll get sick and die. Also he can run fast asf, uses crystals to see through the eye's of crows, can sound like your love ones to lure you in then blow human bone powder mixed with poison in your face to kill you. They don't wanna eat you, they just want your soul. The unknown is a humanoid so an alien. Just wanted to give you some facts if you wanted to know what my people lore is.

Its Mori would make more sense for Wesker or Nemesis. It makes none for a guy who carries an axe and sprays Bubblec*m all over everything.
I'm looking at 3-Hell-Worms co-operating a corpse from inside: one controlling the head-neck-&-left-arm, one supports the torso-thorax-&-right-arm, and one works the legs-hips-&-pelvis: 3 worms could each be differently visible moving beneath the skin, centipede, segmented-worm, eel. Its like a couple kids in a trench-coat, but, Nope.
So, It looks like it's something inside a decomposing body, it's using it like a meat suit? In it's mori it's like it pulls the tentacles out of it's head and opens it's mouth to slurp up people, Reminds me of The Thing in it's mori, honestly though this killer looks amazing, feels alien in a way too

Some people go off the conjuring or taletells version, but older version had a crooked mishapen man, some times with a long bented and twisted neck. There was even an rpg made about him years and years ago off of this version. Mark and pewds played it. He would and go from the darkness to attack. He could twist his body to get in any space. He would also make the player have terrifying hallucinations.
