The average European seems to be much better educated than the average person I've interfaced with here in the US. I have read studies that my generation (I'm a late Baby-Boomer) scored higher on SATs than the current generation. If this is true (I don't know how to confirm or deny this information) our educational system has declined, even with computers and far greater amenities than I had in school. Again, this is anecdotal, but, I taught as a substitute teacher for a year or so in the MA public schools (our state has been rated as having one of the best schools systems if not the best) and I was very underwhelmed by the students performance and knowledge base. I was able to get an education in my rural town (large amish population) because of vaccines. Herd immunity helped me because I had an allergic reaction to a vaccine for a communicable respiratory disease that could be deadly for young people. Without the vaccine being prevalent, I would risk illness and death just by going to school. Its not just about you - vaccines are about a stronger, more resilient community.

I'm NOT against fluoride in public water, but I think we should know what it can do to you in a dental office. We should all be aware of too much is not a good thing. Here is my story: I had one problem with fluoride dental treatments, years ago. The dental hygienist gave me too much fluoride, by accident (she had a busy day and was interrupted by fellow workers with questions, while she was working on me, so it wasn't really her fault). When I got home, I noticed that I had more white stuff (fluoride) on my teeth, and I did not think anything of it, except that it was more than I usually got in the past and let me get all this stuff off of my teeth. I eventually had loss of taste shortly afterwards. Some food and candy, etc. tasted flat or had a metallic-like taste (kind of salty at times). This lasted for up to a couple of months. Some of the foods that tasted flat were bananas, Cheerios, chocolate, cakes, Strawberry preserves, apples, and some spaghetti sauces, twizzlers, raisins had a metallic taste. etc. The good part was this: I lost around 7 pounds. The dentist would not admit that the fluoride was the culprit, but I knew it was because I looked it up online.

I'm NOT against fluoride in public water, but I think we should know what it can do to you in a dental office. We should all be aware of too much is not a good thing. Here is my story:
I had one problem with fluoride dental treatments, years ago.
The dental hygienist gave me too much fluoride, by accident (she had a busy day and was interrupted by fellow workers with questions, while she was working on me, so it wasn't really her fault).
When I got home, I noticed that I had more white stuff (fluoride) on my teeth, and I did not think anything of it, except that it was more than I usually got in the past and let me get all this stuff off of my teeth. I eventually had loss of taste shortly afterwards.
Some food and candy, etc. tasted flat or had a metallic-like taste (kind of salty at times). This lasted for up to a couple of months. Some of the foods that tasted flat were bananas, Cheerios, chocolate, cakes, Strawberry preserves, apples, and some spaghetti sauces, twizzlers, raisins had a metallic taste. etc.
The good part was this: I lost around 7 pounds.
The dentist would not admit that the fluoride was the culprit, but I knew it was because I looked it up online.
I looked up online if we the sun landing was fake. It said it was real. It’s real because I read it online so it must be true. -you
