A masterclass yet again in how to produce a mini documentary. All those details which even the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable fan of this part of the Roman world is probably unaware of. Excellent work Pete, and your efforts are much appreciated.
Excellent, thanks. Did a couple of hikes last week to Housesteads fort, along the wall to Cawfields Quarry via Sycamore gap and then down to Haltwhistle. Love this area. I’ve hiked many times there. Can’t wait to go back.
Thank you for another great video, Pete. It's thanks to your work that I really look closely at the surrounding landscape to spot the marching camps and other features when I'm visiting the Wall. I had a good look around Limestone Corner thanks to one of your previous videos! What's your favourite section of the Wall to walk? Thanks again for producing this.
@@romanhistorywalks6526 Thanks! I walked from Housesteads to MC35 earlier this month and decided it was my new favourite section. Next time I'll extend the walk to MC33.

Have ye been tae the Roman Ardunie signal station west of Perth Scotland?
Why hasnt trees grown up there?
Is there sheep still grazing that grassland?
Hi, yes sheep and Cattle graze here, on the upper slopes the soil is very thin for tree roots
