I've slowly been losing my sister. Now in Hospice. I cannot remember how many times, I've taken solace in your incredible video. I will vist there soon. The Gods willing. Thank you truly. Gratitude
I fill up every time I watch this video both the scenery and the gladiator track blend so well. Myself and my wife walked this section from Chesters to twice brewed one October for her birthday. It was a tough boggy wet and cold slog but it was quite simply the best walk ever. We were going to camp but ended up staying at the twice brewed Inn. Also my late father loved this section of Northumberland and I feel the same quite simply the promised land. Thank you for a beautiful video
Just hiked the wall in late March '23. It looked about like this video - snow, and grass just coming up. There was history, beauty and a couple days of brutal conditions, but worth every step. The Cumbrians and Geordies were great. A hike of a lifetime.
🇬🇧 Now this was a wall! Hadrians Wall built in the year 200 to 210 By the Romans! It was much higher than this then. But over the years the locals have stolen the stones to build their own homes or extensions! Most of the surrounding farmhouses are built with stones from the wall! Bloody Geordies will steal out! Nice video by the way with cute music! 🇬🇧
Nice film and music, thanks. Love the central section of Hadrian’s wall from Cawfields Quarry to Housesteads fort. Been there quite a few times. Sycamore gap is iconic. Vindolanda fort about a mile south is well worth a visit too.
This was an amazing look at this monumental structure. I marvel at the amount labour required to bring Hadrian’s plan for the wall to fruition. As I understand the history of the wall, it failed in its purpose of keeping the Celts out of the south anyway? The music accompanying the footage was absolutely spot on. Thanks for uploading this, and would like to see more. Cheers from Australia!
Sorry... just commented from another profile in error! Is there a way of getting in touch, I would like to purchase some of this amazing footage from you.
Duaneeeeeee.... .this is epic Sir. So epic I would like to steal it from you!.... No really. Is there a way I can purchase this from you to use in one of my videos?
Molto interessante e suggestivo; fa piacere vedere come la Gran Bretagna tenga moltissimo alla storia dei romani, anche perchè i siti che li riguardano sono tenuti in condizioni ottimali. Grazie
lmagine being a Guard on this wall 2000 years ago on the shortest day of the year when it got dark at 3 in the afternoon and your only job was to stand on the wall at the top of those Crags at 04:18 and stare North at miles and miles of whiteness ahead of you for hours and hours on end . No warmth just freezing temperatures and snow falling and surround by deep snow in all directions !! l bet a few froze to death !
Sadly after 300 plus years the Sycamore tree that gave the name of Sycamore Gapp as seen in this is no more as some sickening vandals chopped it down for a laugh and damaged the wall also, you just can not fathom it can you.🌳
INTERESTING ,but" your musics shite it keeps me up all night " oasis ..heeehee and it would have been good if you would have given me enough time for my eyes to focus before you went on to the next bit of wall .. thanks for the effort none the less ..

Ave Centurion, this is just wonderful it must have been desolate to have been on guard up there in bitter conditions.

It's from Gladiator. Not Robin Hood.
oops. nvm.
It’s from Robin Hood. 1991. I was there

Prince of thieves? Don’t think so........Gladiator
He was talking of that section of the wall, not the accompanying music, that was in the movie Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
