Thank you so much! I'm trying to learn it now that I have so much free time in quarantine, your tutorial is the best for this song, specially for those who don't have huge pianos in house. You're great! 👏
I've always wondered what's the point with these Synthesia uploads. Can people actaully follow and learn from them? In that case, how do you guys do that? It's so fast that it seems impossible. If it was possible to slow down the tempo, then it would probably be easier. That said, the uploads are here for a reason, I guess someone are learning from them. This is not critisicm or an attack on anyone, I am just wondering :-)
Synthesia is generally a nice option specially for people that have no idea how to read sheets (like me) and have some experience playing piano. I mean, when you know basics in music, just by listening you can start playing any song by yourself, so this isn't technically a tutorial but a reference to know "ok here i play this arpeggio like this, and here this notes bla bla bla". If you understand a song rythmically and it's easy for you to memorise by watching which notes you need to play, here's synthesia. For beginners synthesia isn't the best option because it goes fast (although you can slow down the video I know), and you need to figure out by yourself how to put your fingers and stuff... So a tutorial is of course better. Well if we are talking about the easiest song on the planet synthesia will be as efective as a normal tutorial :P but you know what I mean.
Just keep at it. you can slow down the speed with the bottom right setting icon. At first I use to have to play a slower tempos but now I can play along without even knowing the song. After a few years this song will look and feel easy to play. pro tip homework: Your ring and pinky fingers are weak sauce. to fix this walk your fingers using your middle finger on the black keys and your ring finger on the white keys. The pinky finger is used to clear the gaps between the black keys. i.e ring finger B, pinky finger C or ring finger E, pinky F
most times i have to replay a 2 second part several times before i get it right with synthesia videos (the only way i learned piano so far) but it's not difficult at all after you get the hang of it, however i cannot play by reading sheet music at all. My question is, how do you play sheet music? do you like look at the paper constantly to see what notes are next in the song? Do you look at the keyboard or only at the piano, cos i need to look at the piano to play 90% of the time. Do you only look at the sheet for the first few times, by which then you've memorized it and play without it? i'm really curious and i want to know how it works so i can know wether to get into reading sheet music or just stick to synthesia, cos i'm getting a bit of an "unprofessional" vibe from synthesia learning, not because of how it sounds, but because people expect you to know how to read sheet music as a piano player.
The best piece of music I've heard lately as tutorial

It helps me, but I have to rewatch and pause and stuff, so I know what you're saying.

I learn it by pausing it and learn step by step and repeat
