Quick disclaimer guys. Even though it says Ryzen 3700X in my performance metrics, it's just a label I forgot to change when capturing the footage. I am using a Ryzen 5900X. Thanks.
@@TerraWare Yeah indeed, I had it happen with a 4070 Ti video where I still had the 6900 XT showing, and people didnt believe me when I told them it is just not correctly updated by me, despite showing how I enable DLSS and DLSS Frame Gen.
First time trying FSRfg and wow. I was so sceptical of this tech but I don’t even notice it is on at 1440pdlss quality at 80-90 fps with controller… I was so wrong lol and I’m glad I was. Edit: I play with controller so that plays a part maybe.
i never regretted buying this beast , it has been a great journey with this card almost 3 years now. BTW something I notice that I am getting little bit more fps than you maybe becuz we have different model's.
Good video bud. My 6700 XT is on the way so will be doing something similar, where I test a higher end GPU first and then the more mid-range AMD GPU for those interested in more mid-range performance. FSR actually looks quite decent in this game.
Imagine buying a 6800XT years ago and now being able to use FSR 3.1, XESS 1.3 and FSR FG. The card is doing really well, love seeing older cards still being able to game at 4k.
FSR FG really came a long way and fast, most cases personally I see no difference with DLSS FG unless I check out one of those 50% speed vids but even then it's small. Even AFMF which I hated feels nice now with the new version. I just play it at Ultra + FG and runs like a dream and looks like one too. Examples like this one kinda make me question next gen games that barely look any better but run at half the framerate (outside RT+PT of course). Also I feel like new games look kinda... fuzzy if you know what I mean. This is just clean perfectly detailed.
Good thing is that FSR and FG look good in this game. Something is wrong in parts of the game. My 7800xt power usage drops under 200w when fps drops under 60fps, 1440p ultra and in rest of the game is round 240 in some games over 300w.. I thing drivers and patch are needed..
So the question is....why pay so much for graphics cards? AMD might have the right plan by sitting out the ultra high end next generation. Using dlss on my 4090 before was sad.
So I'm on a temporary 1080P monitor down from my usual 1440P one. 6800xt ryzen 5600X same settings at 1080P and I'm getting sub 100FPS . This is also an issue in other games where I think setup should be overkill but it's like I get 1440P FPS while I'm on 1080P..everything is updated and running cool. Can someone help me out it's driving me insane
It sounds like you are CPU bound. If dropping resolutions doesnt result in higher FPS it's kind of a giveaway although you could use additional steps to confirm like monitor if your GPU is being used 99% consistently. For example on my 1440P section I am getting similar FPS at 1440P native and 1440P FSR Quality because my CPU has become the limiting factor.
@ウルフワイト It can depend on the game is guess. You'd have to look at the metrics. Ctrl+shift+O should bring up amd performance metrics. If gpu not at 99% consistently and you aren't using vsycn or any other frame rate limiter id say the cpu is limiting it. It needs bit of investigation
@TerraWare check this out , at 1080P TAA native Ultra settings I'm getting 90-95% gpu usage and ~84% cpu usage with ~132FPS on the main screen.....not even actually playing yet

It happens. And you will get the inevitable comment about that, even though you have this pinned comment and mentioned it in the video 🤣
@@Mostly_Positive_Reviews Yes lol. I've tried to up my game when it comes to double checking things but something always slips by haha

@@Mostly_Positive_Reviews Right, some thing the label is put by the software

No its just because he is recording in the same time thats all
Great video! Would have liked to see 4k Ultra with FSR and FG though.

With some settings tweaks, absolutely.
no thanks, i didnt bought a high end gpu to use shit upscaling and fake frames

I use a 7600x with PC red 👿 6800xt oc , 32 gb ddr5 at 6400 mhz the game run so good(very good optimization for this game)
It is a very good port
Hi I would recommend watching benchmarkings channel on a comprehnsive guide to optimizing settings with no visual loss.
220w and 50°C. How do you..?
Are the gpu fans @100%?
It's a water cooled hybrid model ROG Strix LC 6800XT
Were you using the 6800xt at stock clocks on purpose here?
Not really. They reset after a PC restart and I didn't notice it.
@@TerraWare ahh gotcha! I mean not like most people own a watercooled model :) nice vid
i bro i have a rx 7700 xt, i don't know why but amd frame gen didn't work, any suggestions?
I'm not really sure. Do you have a framerate cap or something? Or v-sync enabled? Try restarting the game.
are you using it in-game or from driver? driver wont show the fps on overlays correctly

How does 3080ti compares to 6800xt?
It should be a bit faster based of what I've seen. Maybe 20 %
No fix yet for VRAM memory leak?
I didn't see that in the patch notes.

Graphics look dated, Sony wants to charge 60usd while asking PC gamers to kneel (PSN account) for this scrap LOL
