Now you might understand what happened in England when they booed him and called him a traitor. Some people just don't get that the lyrics are really the most important thing.Rock and roll via folk just happens to be what Bob was given to work with.It is ok!
Your choices are what you have to live with.Maybe if you had given him another chance he might have clicked with you.
Also,he was known to fulfill his commitments while having 103 temperatures!
I bet you love the Eagles.Dylan was known for his 'spontaneous creation, almost jazz inspired..You got to admit,...He is a unique bird.
@@johnholland723 "I bet you love the Eagles" - Thanks for making my week.
"Zimmy"?
@@johnholland723 I booed him in 2005
@@johnholland723 You claim that "the lyrics are really the most important thing". And as the original poster said, he went to see a show, and could not recognize his favorite song, due to the incoherent mumbling of lyrics. One can be spontaneous without butchering the lyrics. So you did not address his point... And there is nothing wrong with liking the Eagles.
The real deal right here....awesome
I got to see Dylan play with the Grateful Dead - loads of fun! Also saw him many years later with an all acoustic band in a tiny college gym, and many times in between. Of course I love the classic 60’s & 70’s albums but for some reason a World Gone Wrong is one of my favorites, even though he’s not using original material. So much soul in that album.
Great Dylan solo record covering those old classic blues/folk songs. Brilliant
For the rest of my life im going to regret that Bob didn't make an album with this band 😭
Yes! That would have been MAJOR!
Daniel Romano recorded the entire Infidels album as how he thought it would have sounded had Bob recorded the album with this band. How cool is that?
Dont start me talkin ill tell you everything i know....what a line!
Stunning!!!!
The Plugz are the backing band - Bobby rehearsed with them briefly and then did this performance on the Letterman show -- after the show -- Bobby never saw them ever again.
That's our Bob!
I wish I could be left out like those guys.
False, he took the drummer lol
"Where's my harmoniker? Who took it? I don't care who took it, I just want to know who took it,... so's I can fire 'em."
Epic!!!
Dylan.Fabulous.
wow i wasnt prepared for the uptempo vers. of jokerman
Neither were they.
Tony Marsico bass player tells the story of how this all went down in a little memoir.. Late Nights With Bob Dylan.
Love you Bobby!
AT 1:08 you can glimpse Bob's inner Chuck Berry, and I love it.
this is the real bob
Don't start me talking... how far you want me to go back?
Wow. Love it!
Nice band!!
Just brilliant bob
