- I don't do many product reviews but I had to make a video to highlight this stuff. It is amazing!
Please like and subscribe if you found this useful.
Thanks,

This video is 2 yrs old. Came across it by accident. OH MY GOD! I had a 2" scratch from previous owner. Looks like it might have touch the pavement. Right in my line of sight. Not anymore. IT'S GONE! Kid you not. Thank-you for taking time to make this video. Happy me.
I know, it’s fantastic stuff. 👌🙏
Thanks for the review. Use that stuff and really like it.
Many thanks...thought I would need to buy a new windscreen as it made the bike almost unrideable at night. Surprised at how well it worked.
Hi Dave. Love the channel. I watched your video and decided to give the PlastX a try on my scratched and cloudy GS windshield. Wow! what an improvement. I thought I was going to have to shell out for a new screen but the Meguiar's got out 99% of the scratches and 100% of the cloudiness. Thanks for the video!
Exactly my reaction too. Couldn’t believe how well this works.
Unbelievable, impressive product you’ve shown us here, Dave. Cheers Buddy🍻
Cheers Mike, I was totally amazed when I bought some. It’s superb and the camera angles do it no justice.
Just what I need for my Screen. Excellent. Will give it a go.
It’s unreal Magi. Couldn’t believe it when I used it for the first time. I’ve another sculpture piece coming out this Thursday btw which I think you’ll like. It’s the story behind the Gaelic Chieftain and an interview with its sculptor.
Take it with me when I tour and give the screen a good clean every morning. Removes small scratches and smudges, and let’s you see the beautiful scenery. Also is a safety issue, and helps reduce glare. At night you need all the visual help you can muster, and although I try to minimize riding in the dark it makes a notable difference. Great for headlights and all plastic surfaces, but I wouldn’t use it to clean my eyeglasses. Another Wheelie good tip to the riding community. All the best from Wisconsin.
Very impressed off out to get some for the goldwings screen in the morning cheers
When a screen gets all scratched up and faded I take a buffer to it. After a while it looks like new again ... almost. A nice polish still leaves you with the swirl marks which are a real pain, especially at night. This stuff looks like a good remedy for that, think I'll give it a shot. Thx from the US!
I use all meguiars products on my car and bikes, they do some amazing products! Pricey but worth it!
I usually treat RUclips recommendations with a pinch of salt but my screen was such a mess and you are one of the few who I do respect that I gave it a try. It’s an amazing product, thank you for the recommendation. Gave it a quick coat, dry and rub-down and the screen looks amazing now. Will be keeping a small bottle in my tail pack from now on. All the best.
Great to hear Richard, it is superb isn’t it. I couldn’t believe the difference. Cheers
Mine too! I was shopping for a new windscreen and heard about this product. It made mine look brand new. Pretty amazing.
Great find, Dave, and thanks for sharing with us. I have a '97 RF900R which is in showroom condition, save for the perspex screen, which is dull, faded and feeling a bit sorry for itself. Been looking for ages for something to spruce it up. I have just ordered Plast RX, based on the results seen in your video. As I write, it is on offer at Halfords for UK£12.99, so some other of your Subscribers might want to get in before the rush...! You could have hopped over the border when you were in Carlingford there recently, Dave, and saved a couple of Euro's... ;-) :-) Thanks again for the tip, really enjoy all of your work, and look forward to what's coming next... All the Best, RG...
Thanks for the message Ray. It really is wonder stuff! Hopefully the other viewers will read this and grab a bargain! Cheers
My special motorhome sat nav took me down a narrow road (sat nav now sold) and overhanging branches scratched my plastic side windows. I found T cut got the scratches out really well. I think maybe this product may be finer. I think we have to be careful the polish stays wet for fear of "burning" the plastic. Thanks for the recommendation. ☺
Thanks for the tip. My touring screen (tinted) which I just bought 2nd hand has come up like new. Cheers Dave 👍
It’s unreal isn’t it?!
@@WheelieGoodTV it's witchcraft! 🤔
That’s a pretty cool product!
It works so well. I was honestly thinking of buying a new windscreen but this really made it brand new again.
OMG .......... THANKS... i will defiantly be getting this....
It’s brilliant!🏍😜
So here I am in the US looking for this Meguairs stuff called "PlastRX". For those of us on this side of the pond, turns out that over here it's labelled as "PlastX". According to a forum on Meguair's website, it's the same stuff. Apparently there was already a product on your side called "Plast-X" from someone else, so they had to modify the name of the product for you guys.
Thanks for the heads up!
great review
Sold! I need it for exactly the same reason.
I still use it on all my bikes. It’s superb!
Another wheelie good video!
It had to be said ☘️
Cheers Dan. 👍
Thank you I will try it right now.
It's unreal Richard. I still use it on all the bikes and it still amazes me. I've even contacted the company to see if I can become some sort of ambassador for them but they haven't replied. Not to worry, the product is superb!
Oh man, I thought I would have to buy a new windscreen because mine is so bad. Can't wait to try this.
This is superb stuff. 👌
Excellent video 👍
Thanks Dennis, it’s an excellent product. 👍🏍
looks fantastic .
It works great!! I still use it on every bike.
"Wheelie Good TV". Okay, that's pretty good!
I'll give this a go on my '05 VFR screen and headlights. They need a good clean up. 👍🏼👍🏼
Do! It’s amazing!!
Very interesting! Thanks 😊
Cheers bud.
Don’t know why this appeared on my timeline but I have been thinking about how to clean my GS screen and up this pops. Anyway I will certainly see if I can get hold of the product and give it a try. All the reviews look postitve
I still use it all the time. It’s amazing! 👌🤗
Have used it religiously for years, my father used it on his airplane window
Nice one, thanks Dave. I'll have a bash at that meself!
Good man Edward, it’s superb!
Wow...impressive.
Yes, it still amazes me every time I use it. Superb product. 👍🏍
Nice review Dave , try a microfiber cloth next time you'll find it gives a bit more cut to the polish 👍🏻
Cheers Dale, will do. Looking forward to trying your products.
A before and after comparison should be from the same angle, don't you think? Also, the manual says: clean residu before it dries (but apparently that makes no difference).
This stuff works. I was ready to buy a new screen but tried this. Made it like new….
Yeah, it’s superb stuff. I still use it often.
@@WheelieGoodTV Do you use a mechanical method? I did mine by hand but wondered about using a buffer.
I used the US version as someone mentioned and I put it on my Windscreen, left it on to dry for 5+ minutes and it was nearly impossible to clean off. I reapply and immediately removed off which was MUCH better in removing., even the first application. Scratches were improved or lessened but still could tell there area scratches there. Me, I would not leave on when applied much longer then 30 seconds is my experience.
Good info, thanks for sharing. 🙏👌
i just bought a 2003 Harley Davidson anniversary ultra classic, the windshield is a horrible mess from the transport company and there plastic wrap. There is kind of residue on both sides that is stuck hard to the windshield. I searched You Tube 1, W D 40 it leaves a greasy film 2 pledge furniture polish did not use 3 Alcohol you can buy from the pharmacie it works excellent. Depending on the condition you will use a little or a lot. Make sure cloths are dirt and abrasion free, also you may have to do your windshield quiet a few times, Excellent for removing sticker residue. Just need a little work. then apply McGuires Plast (X) or (RX) excellent demonstration thank you.
Sounds like you managed to bring your screen back to life Allan. I am so impressed with this stuff!
Class, gonna try this on my 1989 k100...fingers crossed or its £120 on a new screen
Defo worth a go Eric. I use it constantly on all my bikes now and it amazes me every time. It’s brilliant.
Nice product! I always take off my screen (only 4 screws)
Just saying 😊
Hi from Scotland, cracking vid pal. Just started watching your channel.
New motorcycle youtube'r myself.
Ride safely 😊👍🏻
The Tartan Biker
Thanks bud. I’ll check out your channel too. Best of luck with it.👍🏍🎥🇮🇪
@@WheelieGoodTV 😊🤜🏻🤛🏻
Dude, this windscreen is so clear, it's quite distracting how clear it is
Awesome video! How long does the plastic restorer last?
Easily a month before re-applying.
Do you suppose the product could restore plastic glazing, peeling, and fogged-up 2002 wind shield? Trying to avoid purchasing a new replacement shield.
Worth a shot I suppose but it won’t solve the peeling issue. It really is superb stuff and I still use it on all my bikes.
Will this take small marks out of your plastic on sports bike
Yep! It works superb.
I Have some very Light Swirl Marks on My TFT Screen wondering if this Product would Work ?
@@jefflambert8603 mmm, it works great on plastic like our screens and visors but I’d be very reluctant to use it on a glass TFT. This is because it has a very fine abrasive compound which may scratch your glass TFT permanently.
@@WheelieGoodTV thanks 👍
But I don't think my TFT Screen is
Glass ..more like Clear Plastic Type
Material
@@jefflambert8603 ok. Up to you then mate, I’d still be hesitant.
Do you think that would work on a helmet visor
Yep it does. It’s superb. 👌
Would it be okay to use on a tft screen or digital speedo screen?
Hi Fred, I wouldn’t use it in glass. Just hard plastic. 👌
I used it on my oem Honda windscreen and it’s created loads of fine swirl marks 😣 I used it just how the instructions provided said to. Screen was clean before I applied too. Not sure why it’s not working for me.
Does a nice job there Dave. Now if you can give me some tips on how to get my bloody wheels clean id be a happy camper, short of a wire brush and acid nothing i have tried will shift the crud off of them. Might be a future for you on the shopping channel should this vlogging thing not work out 🤣
🤣🤣👍
I have had good luck with Nevr-dull on my spoke wheels. It still takes elbow grease and leaves an oily residue to clean off. I'm sure there are better products but I found it pretty good.
Any car wheel Cleaner will work, let it dwell...you can use an iron out product if that helps. I detail motorcycles..🏍🏍🏍
Thanks for the video, I wanna try but Is it same Meguiar's Plast RX = meguiar's plastx?
Same thing Bub.
@Wheelie Good TV Thank you very much 😀 Have a nice day, Sir
Does it work on shaded windscreens?
It sure does!!
Wheelie impressive
🤣🤣🤣👍🏍
Most of their products are excellent, several on the garage shelf….
I must look at what else they do.
What about if screen is tinted ?
I don’t know Alan, I would test it first on a small area of the screen.
@@WheelieGoodTV I'd rather you did 🤣🤣 cheers
That did a cracking job... my mate @Big_Pezza could do with some of this... his BMW screen is a mess! :D
Is your mate @Big_Pezza surname Perry by any chance? Mine is and my nickname has always been Pezza, although I’m known as little Pezza. I might have to meet this Pezza!🤣🏍
@@WheelieGoodTV haha, his first name is Perry, but the nickname is ironic! 😁
@@WheelieGoodTV he has a very good RUclips channel, gets up to all sorts of fun!
Have you tried it on a visor?
Not yet but I have a crappy helmet which I will test out tomorrow.
Just tried it Anton and it works perfectly on the visor.👍
Suitable for a visor?
Haven’t tried that yet but I will. I’d say it would be perfect though.
Be great if it did.
@johnjfab How'd that test go?
You guys don't have any leprechauns to put that on for you!🤣.
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Tried this product with a quality buffing wheel and wet sanding first with 3000 grit sandpaper. It does not work. Also tried a section without sanding and there was little difference. By the time you buy this product, buffing pad, and consider your labor, you can spend another 70 bucks and get a brand new windshield. FYI.
I don’t bother with the sandpaper or buffing wheel and it works a treat for me. I’ve used it on all my screens just by applying it with a microfibre cloth, leaving it for 20 mins then buffing off. All my screens look like glass afterwards. In fairness my screens aren’t hugely damaged in the first place, just that cloudy effect from the weather.
Is this a scam? Doesn't do the job for me at all???? even use a tool on my drill, but very little results. Certainly not as new, a little bit better...
No it’s not a scam. I use it regularly on 5 bikes and it’s superb.
it's crap doesn't work
I think it’s great. Works so well on my screens.
