    You can apply clear nailpolish underneath the montees to prevent the change of color.

    You are an *incredibly* outstanding artist. The fact you have a video and an accompanying (free) downloadable pdf absolutely made my day. I'm a wireworker but my love of beads is what led me to wire, so this will be a great little project for me. Thank you so much!

      I love it when people give a shout-out for providing free patterns. I think the critics sometimes forget that these patterns are a gift. I've had some of these boxy-type montees for years, and now I have a great project to apply them to. Many thanks

    Love these, just made two, one with an AB 6mm crystal and two 4mm light topaz which looks amazing and then on the second I replaced the 4mm crystals with pearls and just used two each side as obviously one only has two holes in and not four, Again looks really effective and I am now looking at other combinations.

    Beautiful Julia can you use swarovsky montees or do they have to be czech i know they are different on the back. Thanks for a great pattern :)

    • @SpoiltRottenBeadsTV
      @SpoiltRottenBeadsTV  4 года назад

      Hi Katie, I’ve not tried it with the Swarovski montees but I think that you’d have to play around with the pattern to make it work because of the placing of the holes being different

  • @christinelewry9491

    I missed the boat to order the larger montees before they were out of stock so I have just made a ring with the three smaller stones. It works perfectly. I think a matching necklace with three drop montees in the same design would be good too. Hope you soon restock the 6mm's!

    Hi, I love this ring, and bought the kit to do it. I am very new to beading and I hope someone an help me? No matter what I do, you can always see the thread between the beads, I know the tread is ok as I bought it along with my kit. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

    • @SpoiltRottenBeadsTV
      @SpoiltRottenBeadsTV  4 года назад

      Hi Eileen, I suspect that it’s your thread tension - when you’re new to beading then it take a bit of practice to get your thread tension nice and tight - I’d practice a few more times and you’ll find it will get tighter x
