I just found this video and had to get my supplies out and followed along and made this beautiful ring! I never dreamed it was so simple but having a great instructor made all the difference. You explained everything so clearly anyone could follow along. Now I’m going to make my girls one. I’m going to use gemstone in place of the larger center bead and see how it works. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing me how to make a ring with beads! I’m 74 yrs old and just made my first beaded ring. I make them with wire all the time but yours is the first video that explained it easy enough for a child to understand. You’re an awesome instructor. Please keep up the great work. I don't think we have any ring tutorials right now using only seed beads but I'll give it some thought. I'd say you probably could get by with single stretch cord in most cases but it depends on the weave or stitch pattern.

Just tried it. I hate it. I’m for sure going to take it apart. Here’s my problem. The daisy spacer doesn’t sit right on the bicone. The shapes just don’t go with each other like puzzle pieces which is something I didn’t realize in the video.

If you’re a long term subscriber, you may have noticed a change recently in the style of our videos. I used to use my iPhone to record all of my projects but recently the microphone stopped working on my phone. We’ve invested in a digital camera and Alex has done a ton of research on the best practices to produce quality content, however, we’re obviously both still learning and open to any advice you have for us.
