Very good take on the Baldwin case. Since this was more negligence than malice, financial restitution seems more appropriate. You can't replace a person, but you can at least partially replace for earnings for the family.
I agree about the Baldwin and Crew case. It's more negligence than malicious intent. At best, it's involuntary negligence. I am glad Baldwin settled with the lady's husband. Money can't replace his personal loss, but at least her income loss was at least to a degree compensated.
I like the shorts, put together as one. Thank you for not making it too long. I don't always have a lot of time to watch RUclips. Some other channels have an hour of content in one setting. That is too long.
Negligent homicide or manslaughter is still the appropriate charge. Regardless of intent he was negligent and reckless and killed someone. Same as driving drunk except he doesn't even have the excuse that he was intoxicated

THIS SHOW IS SO UNIQUE I LOVE IT
Think there is just a few to many sound effects and its kinda distracting. It works for shorts but for long form, it starts to get tiring. Especially the particular pop used for certain focal terms that pop up in text. I think more could be done with visual stimuli for those terms/ text based focal points, instead of using a sound effect to compensate. Generally speaking though I enjoy this and hope y'all continue to evolve it and make it a consistent thing so it grows (which can take a while when it comes to long form but over time, with a consistent schedule, people will grow to expect the weekly episode and you'll see more retention)

This is the most reasoned discussion I have heard of the Alec Baldwin situation.

I really like this Pop Law. The situation with the movie Rust is...awful. I think the entire chain of command with the props are all responsible on some level for what happened and am appalled that the movie is going forward. The crypto thing? I don't think those celebrities' have a case - they were paid by FTX, right? To promote it specifically? They're liable. I would also personally recommend Evermore, Folklore and Red (Taylor's Version) over Midnights, but that's my personal bias.
Might be too much to ask as I know these videos are very time consuming. When you cite how parody could be allowed in copyright it would be cool to read those citations after the video if they could be available in the description. Nonetheless love the content 🙏

I think both sides of the Baldwin case is important. I think reformations are EXTREMELY important and should be perused to make sure it never happens again, but also “the guy” at fault (who may or may not be one person) if found, could provide closure for the family after this tragic accident.
Should Baldwin be held criminally liable? I think not.
Should he be held civilly/fiscally liable? I think there's a solid argument there.
What about Larry David? Since he didn’t technically endorse FTX in that commercial

The producers of the movie as well as Hollywood standards need to Make it mandatory that they MUST have staff qualified to manage any possible scenario of accidents on sets available.
If they had better equipped and a helicopter available for an emergency such as life-threatening as a gunshot to a person they would have been able to save her in time.

Im english so not overly versed on American law but surely the blame would fall on the armorer as regardless of whether or not the supplier messed up it would fall on them to ensure it was safe. Maybe I'm wrong idk, as I said I'm english so dont know much american law especially regarding guns

But as for the AI singing I mean I don't agree with the fact that this should be taken down. it's like you mimicking some artist's voice to produce your own song, I don't see how that's copyright infringement
The difference is that using audio files of a recorded artist work to then create a voice is technically copyright. A human voice mimicking another will still sound different when examined thoroughly. So the case with the A.I. is more like an extreme form of sampling.

I beg to disagree with u on this.. someone has to be held accountable for the Alec Baldwin case. the big question is how did live rounds ended up in the gun? I am sure they don’t feel and weights the same as stunt bullets.
Unfortunately you cannot stop AI. At one point people will run A.I locally using GPU and train it using copyright music. Using the AI they are going to generate amazing music after going through trial and error for a year. Then they are going to share that music privately or through peer to peer which is encrypted and untraceable. Music artists are going to be less and less popular as time goes on. The human artist will release his new music however it is not going to be as good as the music your brother generated using an AI which he also shared with his friends privately.

Marvel needs to get into the habit of recasting characters within the same continuity. in comics appearances already changes wildly between artists and if writing accidentally is involved the entire character ight be way different for no reason until a retcon decades later makes them a skrull or something. the characters are the stars now, not the actors. just look at them doing forgettable shit outside the MCU.

That Majors actor has a mean mug so it's easy to accept the allegations as true because this bias but honestly accusations need to be examined through the appropriate legal routes. What the rest of us believe shouldn't matter. But it's understandable he not be part of the the Marvel films because that is a liability for the studio.

Even though I don’t like Alec Baldwin, I don’t think he should be liable for what happened. I mean, he’s not really a gun nut, and he was just performing an act and I don’t think anyone’s first instinct when dealing with a prop gun is to check it for live rounds. If you’re told that it’s filled with blanks, what do you think is going to be inside there if you have no idea what a gun is like.
