I dont know the guy, but the owner seems so genuine and humble. Makes me happy seeing good ppl do what they love
I used to work with Andrew years ago. He's very cool and down to earth.
Your channel back 3-4 years ago was a huge part of me getting over depression. I love your channel and attention to quality detail
Me too man! Me too. They got me through a dark dark time. Hope youre doing better my friend
FACE OFF on the Sci Fi channel was one of my favorite shows! I watched every season! I miss it. Ve Neill was awesome and so was Glenn Hetrick! ❤
It’s so funny you guys mentioned Face Off! I recognized Andrew! I loved that show! Seeing the artistry behind the masks that are made is truly remarkable! And you were right Michael when you said his face lights up like a spooky Christmas tree when he’s talking about all of his departments and all the masks they’ve made and seeing it in step by step the process, I’m just so in awe! Thank you for this adventure Michael! Maybe you will be a model of his masks! 👻🦇🤍🥰
Do you happen to know where i could rewatch Face Off? I saw it on tv when it was airing but id love to watch it again!
@@XemeraldXD I know sometimes on SyFy they have reruns but I’d assume on the streaming platforms it’s on there as well! I miss that show, hoping one day they will bring it back!
I miss face off. I think I watched every episode.
The owner obviously cares about the quality of his product. Now, that’s so refreshing to see. We live in a society where we throw things away because they are not quality .
And it’s obvious he loves what he does . He should give speeches about entrenurpers. He’s a great example !
I never knew how complex masks were , especially quality ones . Fascinating . Thanks for taking us along Michael .
That Frank casting from Donnie Darko is amazing!!!
I’ve got several of their masks. The Grinch, Frankenstein Monster and Pennywise are my favourites! Very jealous you got a tour around the workshop
lol San Dimas. How did you not call this Grim Collectives Excellent Adventure?
😹👍🏻 SWEET ZING! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My husband , Alan, my son, James, and I all loved this video! Thank you both!
Andrew!!!!! I recognized him right away from FaceOff ! So exciting to see him in his element. Thank you so much to you guys and Immortal Masks for letting us see their amazing workshop ! Love the whole process. The mask geek in me is so happy 💀🎃 They really need to bring FaceOff back ❤
I really enjoyed this video OMG you don’t know how much I enjoyed it. And George is so cool he totally loves what he does and I like the excitement when giving you the tour.🖤
When walking through conventions you see tons of these masks, but what you don't see is the creativity, passion and work that goes into creating them. It's amazing to see this side of the creations. Great video!
Fantastic episode. Thanks so much for giving us the inside look at Immortal Masks. Their work is so beautiful and you can see the pride of work from their team.
As a armature mask maker I'd love to be able to do a walk through like this, hell I'd LOVE to get a job there.
For all the real life Vampires Zombies And Ghouls out there that find themselves currently decaying , Shuffle along to Immortal Masks for that special facial makeover that'll keep you going another 100 years.
Hair loss? Go to their hair dept. and they'll cover you in thick hair that fits you perfectly.😁
I love learning how these go from concepts to reality.
Luv seeing horror in all its different art forms
Absolutely amazing 👏!!! The Grimms Rock 🪨 🎸!!!
“We really don’t say no! We just might say, not now!”… this quote is going to stick with me for awhile… I love it!
Two words.... Absolutely Fascinating.
Like in the Tom Savini vid I find the process of making horror history so fascinating
this was awesome! Thank you Michael for sharing with us and especially to George for letting "US" in!
Can’t wait to check this out after work. Everything you both do is amazing! Thank you for sharing and the adventure.
For a second at the beginning :42 when he gave the thumbs up, I thought Michael's wife was hiding behind one of the masks with the green hair. Lol
thanks for showing the entire process when it comes to the creation of masks ❤
Those sketches are phenomenal!! Fun times 👍👍
Loved the ending and what he said about just going for it and not letting anyone tell you otherwise! I have that same mentality as a professional pilot now and did when iw as going through training. Its something I've been in love with from the beginning and that message is so true. JUST GO FOR IT! Great vid as always!!! 🖤
Happy Halloween!
I'm such a nerd when it comes to seeing how things are made - I love it!! Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for the tour!! 💚🖤💜
being a long time fan now a new member and retiring from a design background (I'm 67 yrs old) I never realized what all went into designing and producing a mask. I thought this Video was very Educational (as all your video's are) I live in Lancaster, Pa. (Amish Country) and I don't know if you guys would be interested but in 2006 a man went into an Amish School and shot 10 girls killing 5, he killed himself before the cops came in. Thanks again for another outstanding video!!!!!
What an awesome episode this was! I went to film school too, and I always loved the SFX piece, so it was fascinating to see how all those amazing masks come together. George is such a ridiculously charismatic guy and I love seeing how much passion he has for what he does. Thank you for taking us on this adventure!
This was an awesome vlog!! I could have watched a 4 hour tour of this place!! Amazing!!
Phenomenal, what a great team, your camera was very nice and clear. Thank you for this. Absolutely awesome. Happy Halloween, just so darn cool.
Thanks for taking us through there Michael. What a cool company!
Wow! I was so excited when I saw this Vid hit. Immortal masks are definitely the best mask makers in the Biz! I'm hoping I get a chance at TransWorld in a couple weeks to say hello to Grimmlife and to these masters of terror and hopefully grab a mask or two. George and Andrew seem so cool. Great interview Michael! Transworld or Bust!
Greetings from Germany! Perfect timing for eating dinner!! Have a great Sunday!🖤👻
A spooky Halloween-esque dinner video. We love it. Enjoy.
Thanks! :)
ONE WILD RIDE ! THANK YOU FOR THIS ! "AMAZING " !❤
Wow! @24:15 I actually teared up! What an INCREDIBLE re-imagining of a true Classic!! THEN; @37:15 I saw 'Pennywise' sitting up there!!! OMFG! This has become my favorite to watch of ALL your and Jessica's videos....incredibly a factory of ART!!! TFS.
Richard
I had to go back and watch the beginning again because you are too funny lol it’s like a game of cat and mouse and you are being hunted lol just seeing you running and hiding and him calling you lol “I’m full of bad puns” “you are horrible” 😂😂😂
We had so much fun making this video
@@grimmlifecollective I could tell! It was so much fun watching it! Seeing all the detail put into these masks! Are you tempted to try your hand at making your own Michael? Lol
Horror film idea: a serial killer sneaks into this mask warehouse and goes to town borrowing different masks to hide his identity, returning them after he's done.😈
Would love to visit immortal studio. Looks like a playground for monster kids!
Wow...talk about amazing artists. The drawings are simply amazing as well.
I am looking forward to seeing Immortal Masks at Transworld in St. Louis!!! And you as well, Grimms! 😉
Awesome video guys! Michael, I’m so glad you didn’t allow that therapist to get into your head and make you completely stop this channel and I’m sooo happy you found an awesome girl like Jessica! You guys rock!
Immortal are some of the best people. I own 3 masks and the quality is amazing. Save your fun coupons and get one!
Wow! Awesome video! I love the movie “ face off.” Very interesting. Great idea for your channel. Thanx😊
Great job, you can see the passion everyone has for their work. Very cool.
What a complete dream job! Great vid guys!
One of my favorite vendors ,had to buy their shirt.Congrads on infiltrating their business 😂
❤❤Dear Grimm. Wonderful❤ great masks and artists. L❤ve the Art And Santino looks so cool❤ Halloween Delicious❤ L❤ve you❤❤
This was awesome Michael! It was funny how you did in the beginning Lol
George explained all so well! Loved Santino's work, just perfect! They are all special, great professionals in horror masks . Thank you! Happy Halloween
I got emotional for Santino haha, looks fantastic!
Great video Grimm. I have 4 or their half masks. Love all 4 of them dearly and of course I plan or getting more. 😁
Feel like I would go a little cra cra being around all those grotesque masks every day. But definitely some serious talent goes into creating them. Great work Immortal.
Yes! Love hearing about the process of mask making. I’m geeking out over all of them!🖤
That was amazing. That place is heaven and yes I am one of those penniless artists, a maker of props and masks, always behind the times and always trying to learn. Thank you George for the tour. That Frankie mask was beautiful I hope Michael can show us him finished at a show soon. Stan Winston School rocks and there are some great resources here on the You Tube. Best vid since Tom Savini.
I love masks so much thank you for taking us there, happy Halloween!
Great video Michael, love the behind the scenes stuff. Tons of work and talent goes into those masks.
I was literally looking at their masks online yesterday, perfect timing of this video! Cant wait to see them at Monsterpalooza
They are beautiful masks indeed. Hope you get one.
Missed you guys, Michael n Jessica!!! Glad to see you again!!!
There is absolutely no better field trip than one conducted by Grimm Life! 🖤✨🖤
Happy Sunday ghouls 🎃 This was amazing!!! What talent and hard work. The detail involved in making just one mask is mind blowing🤯 I really enjoyed this adventure. Thank you so much!!🎃
I had a thought! What of GLC could visit James Rolfe's house, see his movie collection, and talk about their mutual love of the horror genre?? I think it would be neat anyway! James Rolfe as himself rather than his gaming nerd character. James is a big film making guy at heart.
High-larious beginning, Mr. Grimm! If you'd dared to do a ferocious GRIMM Grimace, covered your head with a plastic bag and remained stationary, you would still be playing hide-and-seek in San Dimas! (And because you were in Bill & Ted Country, we pronounce this episode to be MOST EXCELLENT--EGREGIOUSLY so!)
1:51 I swear, I've been interviewed in that room before... 🤔🤔😲😲😱😱🤯🤯
George is such a fun, upbeat, personable dude--enthusiastic about his craft, and generously provides viewers with the best 'guidance counselling' I've ever heard: if you're struggling with where you want to go/what you want to do--your life's work--go back in your mind to your childhood, and the pastimes that gave you joy and inspiration, and do what it takes to make it happen as your 'job'. It really is that simple! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🎃🎃
So fascinating, and so much talent there. Thank you for sharing!!!!
So happy you did this video with Immortal. I own two masks from them highly recommended. The entire company is filled with great people and amazing artists. Thank you Grim
Someone call Dr Dan Challis! Silver Shamrock is back up and running!!
You can see the excitement in Georges face and tell he loves what he does, thats so very cool
Wow so neat 🎉great video
Wow! This place is like Disney World for me. I work at ScareHouse in Pittsburgh and worn a number of silicone masks so I can really appreciate this video and the work that goes into making them. Grimm Life you always know how to pull at my heart strings. I could spend a whole day here! Thank you for sharing this with us! Happy Halloween 🎃
Yet again, grimmlifecollective have outdone yourselves. Awesome video!
You guys know the coolest people.
You videos are always fun & entertaining, you never fail to put a smile on my face , did you say San Dimas? can already tell this episode will be _Most Excellent_ dude!
Greatest episode yet ! Thoroughly enjoyed every second. Thank you so much.
My name is Craig Dennis i watch your both new videos all the time and i in joy all of your both videos all the time👍👍👍👍👍👍
Another great episode! Thanks for showing us around!
Love watching the success of fellow face off cast members.
Absolutely love this, people who love going to work and making some cool ass masks!!!
Great video. This man is hyped about his work and visions lol.
That Frankenstein mask looks sick!!!
I really enjoyed this video. And the guy is so genuine and sincere. Thank you for the video and the tour of immortal masks❤
Hello from Gatlinburg TN Mr and Mrs Grimm 🏞️🌄🐻
Top tier Grimm life video right here. Also, the inspirational sign off really hit home. I don't make masks but it still hit. Thanks and Happy Halloween
I love Immortal masks I own 9 silicone masks from them and I’m about to own 10 in a couple of months or less they are making me the grinch mask right now I’m so hyped!!!!
Miss you all, I hope you all are doing good.
I wish these guys were around in the 60’s!! All we had were old military uniforms, our parents old clothes, the occasional surgical gowns, and cheap off the rack costumes with the face masks with an elastic cord that made your skin burn and sweat like crazy… until the mask cracked and got left behind in someone’s yard. It was so frustrating to find novel ideas that we’d just go doorbell ditching instead!!
take that tots this company needs the halloween license! ASAP
My favorite part of Halloween 🦇🖤🦇🖤
I used to make silicone masks and wanted to go to tom sylvani's monster make up school. My parents wouldn't let me... I'm disappointed about that to this day. Great video!
A.J Good’s House of masks next! 😍
Trick or treat studios is another good one!
That was totally awesome. That's my dream job. I have always been fascinated with horror, special effects makeup etc.. I just didn't have the opportunity when I was younger and I didn't know how to get into it.. way before the Internet existed.
You are sooo Talented! Love you guys 🔥
I have 2 masks from these guys and love them. My first was Spore (Last of Us Clicker), and made for an insane Halloween costume. Easily took first place in a costume contest. I am using the second one, the Hog, as the base for Bebop from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Zero issues with having them add a custom purple mohawk. Still working on the costume and props, but it is coming out even better than the clicker. Also seriously considering the Harvester (scarecrow) mask for 2025 unless they do a Fallout Ghoul. I highly recommend these guys for your costume if they are in your budget.
I love that there’s jobs for artists makes me happy
Absolutely amazing! Thanks for taking us on the tour!!!🖤
Bad booty fun💜🖤👻
a great message in this one 🖤
Wow!! Great video 👍❤👍 Great encouragement 👍❤️👍 love you guys.
This was awesome! Thanks for the tour
The luchador wrestler masks are an awesome creative idea. Love the contrast of the type of paint job.
