I know this video is from 2022, but I've been watching your videos for help with my puppy. I have the same setup (kind of), but put his crate in his pen since we got a huge one from PetSmart. I feel less guilty leaving him home alone and it gives him room to move around. Thank you for all of your helpful videos!
This is similiar to my setup. I have an 8-panel frisco pen tethered to the sides of the crate with velcro zip ties. I also have a dual pad and mat on the floor for protection. I agree about the Kong and camera. I just bought a blink camera. Setting it up soon.
I have a crate that I use when my puppy goes to sleep for the night. I use the playpen during the day when I'm unable to keep my eyes on her. That's usually if I'm in the shower, doing dishes or laundry, etc. She's an 8 week Dachshund puppy. The issue I'm having is she whines when she's in the playpen if she wants attention. It's not because she's hungry or needs to do her business or doesn't get enough exercise. Believe me. I ensure all of that is done throughout the day. idk if this is just puppy training or separation anxiety?
I have this same pen and love it. The vertical bars are great for stopping little climbers. I love your seamless solution for attaching the crate to the pen too. I can’t use this set up because any of my guys would jump on top of the crate and use it to get out in no time. But I love the design. Thanks for sharing!
Hey! I have this plus lots of other gear/recommended tools in my Amazon Storefront, linked in the description of the video. But here is the link for the gate: amzn.to/3zwO7J5

This is super helpful. Thanks for sharing. Do you usually close the crate door at night while your dogs sleep inside? I have similar setup and have a corgi puppy wonder if that would help him sleep better.
I actually had a separate identical crate upstairs next to my bed that Fen slept in as a puppy. This was just his setup for during the day when we were out of the house or otherwise occupied! Upstairs though, yes I did close the crate. As he got older, I switched to my giant crate to give him a little more room to move around knowing he wouldn’t pee in it. That worked well!
On Amazon! It is linked in my Amazon Storefront here: www.amazon.com/shop/sarahwalsh-dogtrainer/list/I764RH9ASXB6?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d It's the 192 inch one!

So sorry for the late reply. But this sounds fantastic, and yes, very similar to my setup - I hope it worked out well for you!

Is the gate sturdy ? If the dog were to jump up would the gate slide on the floor or does it stay
It is sturdy to a degree...it will slide if the dog were to jump on it or try to push it hard enough.
Any cat chasing tips? My Bassett hound Beagle mix loves chasing our cats
WHERE DID YOU BUY THAT PLAYPEN??????????????????

@@sarahcertified Its a gate - how about extra panels for the playpen ?
@@sarahcertified How far apart are the vertical bars? For a puppy I'm thinking he might get his head stuck between the bars.
Where did you purchase the enclosure?
