- DC Motor characteristics unleashes the entire operation of the Motor.
Especially explores the behavior of the Motor under load.
In other words this concept reveals the response of torque and speed produced by the Motor during when the load changes are observed.
There are three different characteristics of the Motor:
1. Ta vs Ia
2. N vs Ia
3. N vs T
Having discussed first two in the previous online lectures, Let us see the third one in this session: Speed (N) vs Armature Torque (Ta) concerning DC Shunt and Series Motors.
Thank you ! Helpful for my motors midterm tomorrow. I like the way you represent the relations between the properties with arrows
Your accent helps me listen even more deeply!
Awesome explanation. Thank you sir !
This channel is underrated. A lot of thank you(s).
What do you meant by underrated?? Your reply can help me to change my approaches. Tq
@@learnwithus-electricalengi7390 I meant that this channel should be popular. Your method of teaching and interacting is of another level. It felt like I am sitting in a class and attending the class. By the way, today I had my Electrical Exam and this video helped me today. I got a question for 8 marks to explain the characteristics and I wrote everything I learnt from this video. Thanks a lot.
@@c-06kumarmayankraj81 Appreciations for the good words, Dear and Congratulations for you could write your test well.
I have a DC series motor I want to use for diy project with this information....16v, 3.3amp .can I use floaded lead acid battery 120amp to power it?
Great explanation!!
Excellent teaching skills
Very helpful video👍
Nice communication skills sir ❤️👍
I haven't doubt .we can use the back emf produced in a DC motor for its supply voltage
😳 wow! my confusions are solved now
Beautiful
Thanks you so much sir
beautiful
Excellent
Wonderful
Good job 👍👍
Beautiful ❤️❤️
Excellent teaching style . Continue your lecture
Glad you think So! Thank you, I will
amazing
If we are using seperately excited dc machine suppose we are changing the speed from 1000rpm to -1000rpm ,then what are the changes will come in the machine and load characteristics?
Sir the way you are explaining is adorable tq for unconditional love towards us sir 👍❤️
i guess im asking randomly but does any of you know of a way to log back into an instagram account?
I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Apollo Eli instablaster :)
@Corey Otto thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Corey Otto It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my account !
@Apollo Eli No problem :)
Great
Thanks sir. Continue your lecture.
Keep watching

Good morning, please can you explain prony brake torque please, I confuse t(w.l) and (w+w)×l please Explain
A motor of power 10kW and has a load of 10,000N .at what speed does the motor lift the load.
why didn't you include the effect of armature reactance in these, that is only the difficult part :(
Well
Wow
Skilld is must be nice

Can I use floaded lead acid battery to power a DC series motor of 16v, 3.3amp ,0.5hp
Subjected to the ratings of Motor and battery.
I have a Kitchen mixer with a 315W 240Vac universal motor. The motor was struggling to spin when I was making dough in a normal quantity. I plugged the mixer into a watt meter and it shows 71.9watts and the current 0.65A. I adjust from slow to hi speed but with no effect. Can you advise :
1) why the motor only consumed 71.9Watts when its capacity is rated at 315Watts
2) the current don't seem to increase beyond 0.65A. The motor was not showing any signs of overheating to the touch. These were measured at medium speed. (0-10 speed, readings at 6)
3) can the armature flux be weakened due to old age even though the armature is receiving same amount of voltage. Hence the weakened torque & motor struggling to spin.
Many thanks for your advise.
