I remember seeing this at 13 years old when I was just starting my singing career and being so mind blown. 10 years later, as a 23 year working musician and writer, this video is one of my core memory experiences that shaped me into the artist I am today! I come back to this video every so often and it’s always surreal! I even sang settle down for one of my first ever big performances! Love you Kimbra🥰

My dad was in love with Kimbra for the longest time and would always get excited to show me her songs.. I like coming back to these songs he showed me so I can remember those days I had with him. This was one of his favorites
She gets so absolutely enveloped in her music...such a beautiful thing to see!
Honestly, I can't get enough of this cover. It's unique in its own way and I love all three artists so it's like a major plus. Open your mind people, enjoy the music. I love artists who make covers their own. I absolutely love Kimbra's little laugh in the end. You can tell she really enjoyed this.

Came back in 2021 thinking the same.
Heard Kimbra’s version shortly after it landed here years ago... and immediately had to go find the original - instantly fell in love with Grizzly Bear. As much as I adore Kimbra’s music - and this reimagined/mashed up version of the song, the original blows it out of the water. Thank you Kimbra for turning me on to an amazing band all those years ago. It’s beautiful that an artist literally on the other side of the earth made me aware of a band that hails from just a couple hours down the road from me. We live in a strange and oddly lovely world.
This was my introduction to kimbra. Back about 10 or so years.still watching.
Now, when I hear these songs by the original artists, I cannot get through my day without then hearing her. An angel among mortals.

I'd never heard either of these songs before, enjoy this mashup all the time, and now also enjoy the originals as well. Kimbra has opened me up to so much new music and so many artists. Just listen to her name her favorites or what she's listening to lately and you'll be likely to love something new.

My thoughts exactly. Also got into her back in April when she appeared on SNL and was blown away. Have played her almost every day since and I can't understand why she isn't more popular. She's one of the most unique artists to come along in years, but it seems if you don't sound like Katy Perry or Taylor Swift you don't get on mainstream radio. Better she stays true to herself than change her style to be more commercial.
Sometimes when artists make covers of other songs, they usually make it better than the original songs because of the artists' voice. This is one of those beautiful times. Love you Kimbra.

Every musician brings their own style. Covers should always be seen as a good thing. The original is still just as good if someone makes a cover you don't like. But it allows for so much more creativity.
